Transylvania had first found out she was a senshi almost a year and a half ago. A memorable moment for sure; running into a talking cat while fighting off a youma with a former classmate, who turned out to be a senshi as well, with little more than a trash can lid and a few cloves of magical garlic. The monster was dusted and they were victorious but since then she just really never felt inclined to power up again.

Trying to sneak out of the house was next to impossible when her parents had those home security sensors mounted on every door and window. However, recently she had learned a trick. If she used one of her metal rulers, it was possible to pry one of the sticky bars off the window frame and set the magnet side against the other piece to keep the alarm downstairs from beeping. This was the second time she had tried that tactic and so far it seemed to work flawlessly, only because she knew what direction the motion sensor cameras were facing.

If there was one month out of the year where she felt the urge to power up, it was October. The reason being was more so related to her powered name, Transylvania, while the others included the desire to fight off some more monsters and maybe a vampire if she could find one.

All things considered, it really wasn’t that late, but because it fell it got dark a lot earlier. Even so, it was a bit strange that she was starting to feel so tired when she’d only been outside for about twenty minutes and the sun itself hadn’t even fully set.

By the Cauldron, it is cold.

Transylvania turned towards the sound of another's voice and realized that she sensed something nearby before she actually saw their silhouette against one of the trees. That’s right, I kind of forgot about auras She sighed, clearly it had been a while. But thankfully the first one she ran into was one that radiated a familiar softness similar to her own or Brair’s signature.

“Hello?” She took a few steps towards the shadowed figure.

It was as if she had suddenly got a second wind with the way her eyes lit up with excitement from encountering someone just like her. “Transylvania! I’m the Chibi Senshi of Garlic!” She announced with pride.

The bulb skirt she wore made it kind of obvious but she gestured to it nonetheless.

Fingers laced behind her back, Transylvania rocked back on her heels. “So what are you doing out here?” The lavender eyed senshi asked curiously.

“Patroling together sounds like a good idea,” Transylvania agreed.

Goosebumps to raced up her arms, which was odd considering there really wasn’t much of a breeze out this evening. “I think you are right though on the temperature.” In a feeble attempt to warm herself, Transylvania rubbed her gloves hands up and down her arms. It worked, for a moment, but did nothing for her legs.

“Maybe we should move around a bit?” She suggested, otherwise any second now her kneecaps were about ready to start bouncing. “I don’t really sense anything around here, maybe we will find something if we just pick a direction and run around a bit?”

“Alright!” Transylvania nodded.

“On a count of three then?” She asked. An eager grin tugged at the corner of her lips “I’m ready when you are!” Turning to position herself so she was facing the sign, the Chibi Senshi of Garlic waited for Leaena to say GO.

Transylvania was a second late taking off but managed to keep pace with Leanna as the two sprinted down the sidewalk towards the street sign. The distraction was much needed as it banished her growing wariness of the shadows.

The two ran around for a while longer until it was finally time to part ways, they were kids after all and had bedtime to consider. Her own parents were starting to wonder why she was sleeping in later and feeling so tired in the morning when normally Irina was so active. If she wanted to stay out of trouble, and keep from being grounded, then she would need to limit her time while powered.

“Thank you for keeping me company Leaena! I had a lot of fun and hope we can meet up again sometime soon.” The chibi senshi of garlic waved her goodbyes and took off towards her home where her warm bed was waiting.
