Walking into the tavern Luna could smell old ale and other bad smells. It didn't bother her as she made her way to the back corner it wasn't so bright there and it was her normal table. Not that she visited this place often just any tavern had that one table that seemed to be for shady deals or something and it always seemed the best place for her since little light riched there.
As soon as she sits she takes in the rest of the room. Maybe not the best plan since she did just walk through the place to get to her table right near a back door? Maybe the shady deals she thought of were true or maybe that was a storage space. As for the people it seemed like normal townspeople were here right now wasn't that the backer over there having a meal? Yes, she believed it was him.
As she was looking around the barmaid came over, "What would you be having?" She asks with a bright smile. "Whatever best here, and some good Ale." She hated ordering and often didn't care what she was eating. The girl nods and runs off to fill the order or whatever she was going to do. With Luna's luck, the food would be spoiled or something.

 ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Ralian▀▄▀Descra▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ It must have been two hours searching the streets and various shops, and Ralian found himself both tiring and losing hope of meeting the Sage again. After walking the streets and contemplating recent events, Ralian sighed and decided to enter a nearby tavern. He walked to the counter, requesting a drink from the bartender. He drank from the mostly-clean glass, thanking the fine-dressed man who had poured it. For whatever reasons there were, he turned on his bar chair, and nearly dropped his glass in amazement. There in the back corner of the bar, almost hidden in darkness, was the Sage he'd been searching for. He smiled, buying another drink and taking it to the table. He cleared his throat, finding himself surprisingly nervous. "Is this seat taken?" Ralian got out, offering the drink to the Lunar as she returned his gaze.

It wasn't long after the barmaid left that she noticed a fight on the other side of the room. It wasn't really anything and ended quickly. Which she was glad for. However, this fight made her not notice when Ralian entered the room. She didn't even see him at the bar. So when he walked over to the table offering her a drink and asking to sit down she was surprised tho it wouldn't show she just nods towards the sit. "Feel free." She says accepting the drink. What was this boy doing here? She wounders as she takes a sip of the bitter ale.
After a moment of studying him she asks, "I didn't think I'll see you again." After all, she was called away last time they meet. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to see your skills last time Ralian." She tries to smile ut somehow it seems wrong and she goes back to looking at the room.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Ralian▀▄▀Descra▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Ralian drank along with Luna, her voice surprisingly soothing. He sat back in the chair and rubbed his neck. "Don't worry about it, Luna," he replied, "I'm only glad that I could find you again. Though I must say, a tavern wasn't exactly where I expected to find you." Ralian looked around at the decor of the rustic establishment, thinking to himself of how it contrasted to some of the other well-kept business in town. It wasn't dirty, just...full of character. He looked back at the mysterious women, and almost had to keep himself from giggling. Perhaps it wasn't so odd after all to find her here. He took another drink and leaned forward to her. "I hope everything was taken care of that needed to be? And...if you would take me on as a protege." He clenched his fists at the latter question, bracing himself for the answer, unsure what even he was expecting to hear. Why did he even trust this Sage so easily?

He found it odd that she would be here? Why? because it wasn't the best shop in town? In any case, she tended to visit places that she felt she could stay hidden in there was no real reason for it but it was what she normally did. The barmaid shows up again with her food. "Would you be having anything?" the wench asks him as she sets the plate of some kind of overcooked bird before Luna. There were also some chopped cooked carrots and potatoes on the plate. After Taking his order, if anything she disappears once more taking care of the other guest.
"Everything went better than expected," She states before looking him over again, could she really help him if she took him under her wing. She didn't know but it couldn't hurt. "I'll teach you what I can and help you when needed." She says before putting a piece of carrot into her mouth.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Ralian▀▄▀Descra▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ For some reason, it felt as though a weight had been dropped from Ralian's shoulders. The knowledge that he finally might have a teacher to learn more about his powers from set his mind at ease for the first time in a while. Answers. Ralian leaned back in his chair and nodded to the wench who had brought him the stew he had ordered. "If I may ask, Luna," he said, "what brings you to this town? Inform me if I'm wrong, but it seemed you yourself were looking for something in the library back there?" He ate more of his meal as they talked; it was quite good, another pleasant surprise. Ralian made a mental note to remember this tavern for future returns to the town.

She was a bit happy? no that couldn't be it as she picks at her food. Then he asks her something unexpected which was what was she looking for. The simple answer was nothing, for her master said he was nothing in his last day teaching her. But the truth was she was looking for her master. He left without a word, and she been seeking him since. She had his title of sage tho she couldn't say she was that great for the job.
"Someone who is long gone. I was hoping for some clues, Found some but not the man." She says pushing her plate away it was mostly picked over now with no veggies left and half the bird meat. She looks at Ralian, "We should get a room and I still need to see your skills to see what I can help you with."

Granted, it was likely for very different reasons. He looked down at his own plate, clenching his fists for but a moment before eating a bit more. Then almost choking a bit as she mentioned the idea of getting a room. "Get a grip, Ralian," he said while having some more of his drink. Setting it down, he looked up at Luna with another nod. "Is it getting that late? I guess getting a room couldn't hurt. Its been a while since I slept in a bed. I was travelling through the desert for quite a while."

Luna takes another sip of beer before getting up. Ralian seemed to misunderstand something. Did he think she meant one bed? no a double room would be better or two rooms tho she didn't care either way. Without a word she walks over to the bar. "Do you have two single rooms?" She asks the man behind the bar. "nope got one room left want it?" He replies as he refills anther pattern beer. "Yes." She replies placing some coins on the counter it should cover the room for the night or two. He takes the coins and drops a Key, "Up the Stairs last door on the right." He says before walking away. She snatches up the key and heads back to the table.

Ralian finished his meal and sat back in his chair as the Sage went to get lodging for two of them. There was no denying - he was incredibly excited. Finally, there was a possibility of being able to find his footing in this world. One step closer of becoming more powerful. One step closer to achieving vengeance on those who sent his life down this insane spiral in the first place. His heart started to flutter again, and Ralian once again found himself in a state of anxiety. He cast glances around the tavern - who knew which one of these patrons aimed to cause trouble or not? Perhaps even Luna had ill intentions. How could he know? How could he ever know? His hand instinctively lept to the handle of one his sickles as her sensed movement/sound approaching. He looked up and saw Luna approaching. He gulped, composing himself as best he could. Hiding his shaking hand, Ralian asked out in an almost-trembling voice: "So, any luck?"

Turning the key in her hand she nods, "Yes I got us both a room, Here your room key last door on the right on the second floor." He seemed jumpy letting him have a good night rest in his own room was more important than her sleeping. "I'll meet you down here tomorrow morning." The roof would work fine for her and the morning sun would wake her up. Yes, that was a good plan. She turns and heads up the stairs there should be a window up there to get to the roof...

The tavern wasn't as busy in the morning. There were some people eating but not as many as the night before and the eggs and bread wasn't bad at all, in fact, they tasted just right. She had disappeared on Raelian after giving him the key to the room. Now she was waiting down here for him to wake up again.

Ralian awoke the next morning to the bustling sound of the town market outside. He sat up in the bed and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He got up, doing a stretch and looking out to the streets of the town. He remembered the new circumstances he had found himself in, and found himself wondering: which of the citizens, if any, knew magic as well? Did other people besides him experience pain as he had in his past? He looked down and clenched his fist. He spent about twenty minutes training in his room, a ritual he had gotten himself used to doing every morning for a while now. Normally the sessions would be longer, but he was excited to see what was to come throughout the day. And besides, he didn't want to keep his new teacher waiting.
Ralian cleaned up and adopted his attire - simple clothes and a long dark-brown poncho that draped over his entire body. A shawl tied to his belt was also sometimes used as a scarf or hood. Also in his belt were two sickles that served as his primary melee weapon. He gave one more stretch and made his way downstairs to the familiar dining room of the tavern, where in the corner he noticed Luna waiting for him. He made his way over and sat across from her. "Good morning to you, then. Not waiting long, I hope?"

Did she wait for him long? Who knows she was enjoying the idea of teaching someone however first step was going have to be seeing what he knows. "Not long. Come eat." She indicates the other chair at the table, "After we'll head to the Catacombs." She remembered that where he was going so her his skills before. Hopefully, she could teach him something tho she still didn't know if she'll be of any help/

Ralian sat in the chair opposite the Sage, and joined her in consuming a pleasant breakfast in the sleepy tavern. Fruits, vegetables, and a selection of meats filled their stomachs, and Ralian couldn't remember a time before entering this tavern where he had eaten as well as he had. Not for a long time. "The Catacombs then? Should certainly be interesting. Been down there before?" he asked, as time passed.
