Just curious what kind of Roleplays are you guys into besides wrestling, and would you be willing to join, and help me make one. I've got a very basic idea with a basic layout of characters. I'm just struggling trying to get a story behind it.

Well the RP I've been wanting to do takes heavily from Berserk, Seven Deadly Sins, and Inuyasha.
Though their isn't a Godhand, characters based on Sins, and their wouldn't be a sacred jewel that everyone is after. sweatdrop
It would be set in a Feudal Fantasy Era, it wouldn't be strictly Demons vs Humans. As their would be a Human Factions, a Demon Faction, a Human and Demon faction. Than there would 2 smaller groups of people One Human, One Demon, and those two might not align with the other Human and Demon factions.
I got characters, basic personalities, and powers. Factions, I just need a reason why they are fighting. gonk

Anything from fantasy to 'slice of life', my favorite is usually high fantasy or post-apocalyptic settings. I used to RP hella back in the day. I don't really do anything based off of shows/movies/videogames/etc, unless I really know the lore or its one of those "its based in the universe but doesn't follow canon" things. I've done several sins/demons type of RPs too.
There can be a few ways you can go about the plots, if I may suggest.
1. They're both after a common thing, like a treasure that would benefit either side. But of course, only one group can have it.
2. They finally achieved peace for many years, but there is a rebellious group that's trying to spark war again. Maybe a backstab, treason, betrayal, something a long those lines. This shifts into a more political overthrow type of plot.
3. Maybe the Demon faction is trying to prove that they're not all evil, but they're constantly put down by the Human faction. Both factions have their good and their bad, leaving the player to decide how they want to move the story along.
Now keep in mind, I know nothing about Berserk, Seven Deadly Sins or Inuyasha xd So I'm not sure if you want to follow canon or if this will be an original story. And I haven't RP'd with full paragraphs in years. But I hope my post has been some help, and I wish you the best of luck with your RP!

No they wouldn't follow canon, those are simply the main inspirations. there are certain aspects of those three I find charming, and are good for telling a story. For example I love the idea like in Berserk there is a mercenary group lead by a charismatic and enigmatic leader. Or in 7 Deadly Sins, the group dynamic in which it's not really a ranking system amongst themselves like Berserk and they're not always fighting to achieve the same thing. As for Inuyasha, I just like the setting. Humans, Demons, Half Demons, Magic, Feudal Era... I would not include Duel World aspect of Inuyasha though. As for plot, I do like the idea of Betrayel. I've been trying to wrap my head around something that could be kicked started by a betrayel. I might have a character in mind for that. Mind you I wanna set this up as a Season kind of RP. Not as in the Seasons of Weather, but I want it have continuation or multiple RPs that would follow it. At least three. So it leaves times to focus on other stories rather than the main plot.Like someone in the group would need closure of a past trauma, and that would be a main focus for a short time, but eventually revert back into the main plot.

World of Warcraft-based RPs. I have an extensive storyline for most of my characters that put most of my Gaia s**t to absolute shame.

Sure for some of them I 'modernize' them to make sense if I incorporate them into feds, because I 'can' do that.
But yeah, I have like over 50 original characters and have a lot of novella style RPs.

But yeah, I have like over 50 original characters and have a lot of novella style RPs. Novella is where I really shine too I think. But it's a time investment I just don't have in me anymore. Used to spend like 12+ hours every couple of days writing with a friend, got reaaaaaaaaaal taxing man.
