Whisper sat, tail curled around his paws, eyes half narrowed as he glanced up at this cat that was one half his mirror. He was no stranger to the tom cat that was his father but at the same time he always felt such a strange mix of feelings watching the tom cat. Admiration, awe, confusion on how the other felt towards him and his mother yet also the desire to be just as strong and protecting.
The young cat glanced down at his paws, eyeing the black half that matched Split and the white half that matched his mother, Spirit, until a soft sneeze brought him out of his daydreams. The snow was still cold against his pads but he didn't want to let it show and tried to hide it quickly after the sneeze. Blinking and wiggling his nose, he drew a paw across his face a couple times. "Can you....teach me some things today?" he tilted his head, wondering if it was ok to just.... practice hunting or something. He didn't need or want to force Split to spend the entire day with him...unless he wanted too. He just wanted to do something together, at least once.
