xX PERSONALITY xxxxxxHEADSTRONG – Sylvia is probably one of the most determined and opinionated people around. Stubborn as hell she’ll stand by her opinions and ideas, even if someone were to try to sway her. Changing her mind is no easy task. Believing her way is usually a good way it takes quite a bit to change her decision. Not backing down from her believes No matter how badly they differ from someone else, Sylvia has little care for her lack of conformity. In fact, she can be rather argumentative with others especially those viewed as authority figures. She is simply not afraid to have an argument or fight with another person.
OUTSPOKEN – With Sylvia’s opinions comes her outspoken nature to speak them outright. At times she can be quite candid, speaking her true thoughts with no filter. She has no problem being blunt with people and telling it like it is, even if they don’t want to hear what she has to say. In truth, she has very little tact with regards to sharing her thoughts and feelings. This can easily come off as just plain rude as she rarely sugar-coats things. Though she may not be the most pleasant person to deal with, one can say good bad or otherwise she’s at least honest.
TESTY – To say Sylvia is calm cool and collective would be the furthest things from the truth. In fact, it doesn’t take much to push her buttons. She’s far from being a patient person and likes things to happen in a timely fashion. Sitting around is simply put not her thing. This among many other things causes her to be easily irritated. She had a very short temper and is most of the time rather grumpy because of it. The smallest of disagreements can quickly turn into full blown arguments with Sylvia around. With that said it is not unheard of for her to bicker with her sister over the simplest of things.
LONER – Sylvia’s short fuse and opinionated nature make her the furthest thing from a people person. In fact, Sylvia hates socializing as she simply finds it annoying. In most cases she’d rather avoid human contact and live a life of solitude. She’s very much a lone wolf and only deals with others when she must. Sylvia would be completely isolated if not for her sister who is far more outgoing. With the state of things, Sylvia has become even more unsure of others preferring to play it safe. However, she also knows there is some truth to there being safety in numbers.
PROTECTIVE – Despite her blatant annoyance for the human populous, Sylvia is surprisingly quite caring. She has a rather protective nature when it comes to whom she ends up close too. She is extremely overprotective of her sister Amber, feeling she is her responsibility. This has led to her vigilance towards other people’s behaviours and/or actions, as well as possible dangers in her surroundings. Refusing to let others become hurt she will move mountains to insure it. Oftentimes this leads her to get into confrontation when she sees someone harming someone close to her.
DEPENDABLE – Seeing someone she knows in need of help Sylvia isn’t the type to leave them hanging. She’ll be there no doubt about it. Someone you can depend on, she’s there when you need her. Guaranteed, she can be trusted with just about anything. Though not perfect she is loyal at least to a point. First and foremost, family comes first. Sylvia isn’t about to put that in danger. Not for just anybody at least.

xX BACKSTORY - PRE-OUTBREAK xxxxxxspaceSylvia was born in spring as the first daughter to John Morin and Jollen (at the time) Andrews. It was young love. The moment they found out they were expecting they tied the knot. For three years it was just Sylvia and her parents until her sister Amber came into the world. The moment she found out she would be a big sister she was ecstatic. Taking to the role rather quick she kept the young girl safe and out of harm when their parents couldn’t. Which was rare because they were always around; John being a writer and Jollen being a florist. It wasn’t truly until school started that Sylvia took to defending her younger siblings honor. School for Sylvia caused her a lot of grief when Amber started going off to school as well. She felt the need to protect her. If there was someone bullying her, she’d make sure it never happened again. Despite her issues with being overprotective she was although lectured on her tactics was also praised for looking out for her little sis.
spaceThings were simple, the occasional problem here and there until she started Highschool. Halfway through the school year their parents died in a car accident. It was then that Sylvia and Amber moved from the somewhat busy area of Dallas to the small area of Rockwell to live with their grandparents. The transfer midway through the school year irritated Sylvia and with the lose of her parents her only way to deal with it was to get angry. Simple things set her off and she became not a nice person to be around. Not even Amber could snap her out of it and was a constant target for the girl’s backlashes.
spaceSylvia’s frustration hung around years after getting her into all kinds of trouble. It even landed her in therapy which went over like a lead brick. Though she was still there for her younger sister when needed, still feeling more then ever that she needed to look out for her. With the amount of trouble Sylvia got herself into it was a miracle she was even in contention to graduate high school. In her final year she was so ready to be done with Rockwell and head off to college much to Amber’s dismay. Sadly, the outbreak occurred before she got the chance to skip town.
spaceLeaving home once again, Sylvia headed off with her sister and grandparent to meet up with friends who were out of area. It was believed to be safe and anywhere was better then where they were now. Unfortunately, along the way they were caught up in the chaos. Mass panic hit and everything went from bad to worse. Sylvia watched as her grandmother was knocked down and her grandfather had come to help. In that moment he’d been attacked (if you’d call it that). Shaking herself out of her paralyzed stat, Sylvia grabbed her sister and raced off. Luckily her grandparents were able to get away and together they found a small building to hide out in. After a short breather, Sylvia was instructed to take Amber and continue on without them. Knowing it wasn’t safe for her sister, she agreed and headed off with Amber in toe. Sylvia knew full well they wouldn’t be seeing their grandparents anytime soon but knew that Amber was still largely optimistic.
