For the longest time we had only been adding more items to Daily Chance. We will start removing some of these items in the coming weeks

The preference for sharing equipped items is typically not loaded during forum pages to increase speed. We can look into whether we can cache that data in a location that doesn’t slow things down

Sorry I've been working on that bug all day yesterday. I just got it fixed about one hour ago. I will continue monitoring it and see if it's actually working as it should.

I'm experiencing the same. I hope they fix this. I can't get rid of that Guild Announcement no matter what I try. I turned off my add-ons, cleared my cache, logged in-out, turned off permissions in my account settings to allow Guild announcements, and I even tested announcements on another Guild I'm Captain of. Now I have two glitched Guild announcements/notices that I can't get rid of. It always comes back 5 minutes later. >_>;;
Sorry that was a bug that haunted me since yesterday. I've been trying to fix it for many hours and I'm getting much closer. I should have it fixed by the end of day. Sorry for the long wait.

Just to clarify, because the community is getting kind of upset that we haven't seen a single Miasmal Viperex yet, despite hours and hours of searching.
So: is Miasmal Viperex an actual in-game boss that's different from regular Viperex... or is just something being referenced for the new Miasmal Eye of Viperex RIG and does not (and/or will not) exist in-game?
Just to clarify, because the community is getting kind of upset that we haven't seen a single Miasmal Viperex yet, despite hours and hours of searching.

I'm sorry I think I've gotten the release schedule mixed up. I thought the Miasmal Viperex is released already, but after asking the team, looks like it's not yet released. I'm sorry for the mis-information. We will post an update as soon as it is released.

I was randomly browsing threads and someone said the Ignore Function in Rally is not working. I personally don't use Rally so I can't confirm. But the Poster is having a bullying problem and is unable to ignore the user because of it. I know the devs are swamped but if someone could at least check if the function is actually broken (as opposed to a browser issue) that would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone. I wanted to ask what your guys' stance on the PG-13 policy is.
As users, we get judged pretty harshly on it and many of us have been banned without warning for our avatars, our signatures, and our posts.
However, Gaia does not seem to follow this rule very closely themselves. To name a few, the site has made several risque items that include but are not limited to: fetish gear (found typically in pornography or adult establishments); allusions to cultures, practices, and acts of an adult nature; underwear that resembles or emphasizes certain parts of one's body (namely one's reproductive anatomy); simulated gore and acts of violence to the extent that is usually featured in TV-MA or R-rated content; and so on. There is also the issue of things like the "hole" featured in the Isle de Gambino bathroom in Towns 2; the repeated release of items that center around the use of gambling (CIs/RIGs); and Gaia's infamous sister site Tentacl, the content of which users on this site were routinely polled over for some period of time.
It seems evident to me that we as users are not being judged fairly or treated the same as Gaia staff in regard to this policy.

Gaia does not have a PG-13 policy. That is used for movie ratings. Gaia's users instead have to follow Gaia's Terms of Service. The whole PG-13 thing started years ago and we keep trying to n** it in the bud but it persists. smile
We do have internal guidelines that are strictly followed as far as art goes and while some think of it as being too risque the next person may think it is fine. We understand that users don't like that there are things that the company can do that they can not, but Gaia has evolved it's Terms of Service over the years to deal with situations that have come up with users, content and behavior between users.
It's unfair that we are given this content and we're severely punished for using it. The rulings tend to be inconsistent and many of us are worried about where the line is actually drawn. I know the rules say one thing, but when we're dealt with, results vary.
The rules are not inconsistent, but situational. There can be situations where a rule should be applied but others where it should not, which is covered in the ToS. Usually it's because someone hasn't read the ToS so didn't think what they did was against the rules, or that the rules applied to them. Moderators have extensive training on those rules and any time there is an issue it is looked into by staff when reported.

But using items that the staff are allowed to make isn't in the ToS. I've seen the threads about how it's handled and it's still incredibly vague. "Tongue in cheek" is OK, but sexual content isn't. What exactly is a gloryhole or visible outlines in bulges? When artists are allowed to be suggestive and make suggestive content, why are we then punished for wearing it?
There is a difference between wearing a single item that might be suggestive and purposefully creating an avatar with 2-4 items layered in such a way to not be suggestive but vulgar. Those are the situations that break Gaia's ToS.
In a word, no. Why you ask? Because if we give a line then someone will figure out a way around that line and then point to our saying "Hey, that's the line!" That's what people who break rules do, try to figure out how to do so.
We aren't baiting you into creating the item. If you believe the item you are making might be straddling that line, shouldn't that tell you that you are taking a chance we might have an issue with it? And typically one instance of creating an outfit won't get you banned. A history of doing so or doing other things can make that happen as well.

So Friday there was a bug in the candy in the front page where instead of 50 plat, we get 50 million GC instead. The staff have removed it from the front page as well as removing the GC from accounts, including mine. However, we're still waiting for our trade to be enabled, even when the GC has been removed from the account.
So how long do we have to wait for our trade to be enabled?

I will look into making it must easier to be obtained in Towns 2, otherwise I will make them available through other means around Gaia.

That's odd, I'll look into it and see where that bug came from. I still have the guild notification bug to fix first, I should be able to fix this tomorrow.

Because flash is no longer supported by Adobe, we won't be making changes to the current flash games, any new development will be done in HTML5 and we will start concerting certain flash games to HTML5 one by one. Although Aquarium might take longer as it has a lot of assets that were made in Flash. We could potentially migrate everything to Unity when the time comes, but that'll be further down the road.

Specifically, when I switch to a saved outfit, it resets my avatar's pose to both arms down and equips everything on the saved outfit except what goes in my hands. I then have to manually go through the inventory and put those items back in. The outfit slot image remains the same, and it's never an issue of not having the items in my inventory. Can someone please look into what is happening here?

can you make the kin dailies that you collect on the kindred homescreen reset at like 23 hours rather than 24? most apps with resetting freebies do something like that, since the time it takes to collect them makes doing it perfectly before bed or in the morning eventually fail.

We seem to have the DELUXE AZURE (12 pose) / AZURE PAW TICKET (6 pose), which allows paw users to convert a human item to a paw item... but we do NOT have a project ticket that can in reverse, convert paw items into human items.
Is it possible a ticket for this can be released? I've seen a few really cute paw-only items I'd personally like to have converted.
I'm not sure if a ticket for the reverse wasn't made on purpose or not, but figured I'd ask.

If someone wanted to submit a Golden ticket to have a human item made based on a paw item, they could do that! But there are no plans to make a conversion ticket because it's essentially the same as creating a new item.

I second that . I have noticed that recently . I have typed in a status and I check later and it has randomly vanished , only to reappear later . Also I wish Statuses were just a little bit longer . I struggle to get the essential declarations in .

Like new categories, or being able to lock items that are used in outfits?
Another thing with the inventory, when I search for an item, and it shows it, and then I move said item to storage, it reorganizes other items that came up in the query. This is a huge pain because I've meticulously organized my inventory by color scheme up to the end of the 12th page, and items get stuck in other color schemes when that happens.
I also have not seen that weird bug that interlaces items on the page after you're organizing as often as before, it still happens, but it's totally manageable when I'm only placing 10 items or so.

I think that inventory arranging with search results has some bugs that need to be fixed for sure. The system is unnecessarily complex and might take a bit more time to fix unfortunately.
