It was... rare that Arseno would go to such a crowded place. Especially when he was powered. But lately it had been eating at his mind... the fact that all of these people were contributing to what the world was becoming. That there were too many of them. He wasn't sure if it was the chaos starting to eat away at his mind, but he certainly agreed with the thoughts that he was having.

There didn't need to be that many people. He could weed out a few. Any that looked like the families were too large perhaps? Or ones where there wouldn't be anyone crying about them? He had certainly seen some older adults eyeing those that they shouldn't, women who were being harassed, thieves... he had plenty of targets that he would be justified in draining. Or even taking the starseed... no. Draining would have to do for now. If he wanted to take starseeds, those would need to be left for his experiments, and he didn't have time for that. He wanted to make a difference though and this was the perfect way to do so...


Duncan could feel his eye twitch. Sure, he was near the water, and sure it was cooler at night, but all of the people... he wasn't good with crowds. But he had been invited here by a few of his University friends and he wasn't going to say not to possibly getting some cheap prizes. He would be avoiding the food though unless they had kebobs or something. There was just something about funnel cakes and cotton candy that his stomach didn't like.

Unfortunately he had gotten separated from his friends and was wandering around, trying to find them, and failing to reach them by phone. If they didn't get back to him in the next few minutes, he would text them that he was leaving...

Out of the corner of his eye though, he could have sworn he saw someone suddenly being taken somewhere. For a moment he hesitated. Should he go? Then again, if this really was a kidnapping, if he powered up, he might be able to stop the criminal. He sighed. He couldn't stand watching someone be taken away, and made sure to follow whatever he had seen in a direction that led a bit away from the boardwalk and the lights...

It was easy enough for Arseno to drain the thief. He didn't even have to touch him. He had Ödön hidden up in a tree, keeping an eye out for anyone that he may have missed while he was draining. But he could tell that there was a Super Senshi... and a Page? Oh, what did they think they would be able to do to him?

Ödön feeling like he was doing something useful, and he was of a bit, honked as Arseno felt the Super Senshi getting closer and... a Page? Well well, weren't they brave?

He let the man slump to the ground, though there wasn't much more slumping as he had already been on the ground before, but he wondered if he should just try to get away or not. After all, even if it was just a Super and a Page, they weren't to be underestimated and he hadn't fought in a long time. Ah well, he would just make sure that if he truly were in trouble that he would have enough energy to teleport away.



As soon as Duncan had powered up into Sumner, he knew he had made a huge mistake. The power he felt from... well whoever it was was incredible, enough for his stomach to do a flip. He did feel the "aura" or another, but it wasn't nearly as powerful. Still he wanted to see what he could do and what was going on. And if need be probably stay in the shadows for now because he doubted that he could really do anything against... whatever it was there. It was a person and... there was a more familiar feeling, like when he battled that other youma...

Arseno stared at the civilian, his eyes narrowing and wondering if he shouldn't drain the man even more if he had enough energy to drag himself away. But the Super Senshi was distracting. Ödön flew down to the lower branches, curious as to what was going on and wanting to see if there were any starseeds up for the taking.

Arseno considered the... request that had been made of him. Would it really hurt to be known by his name? They most likely had their own database to put information into and he was probably already in there. Still, he was annoyed tonight, especially since he was interrupted draining some thief. He slowly picked up the wallets that the man had left. "I'm not up for giving out information tonight. I drain a thief and you want to fight me for it?" He said, fanning out the wallets before putting them in his pocket. They would be turned into the information booth after this, or a police station if need be. "Really, you Senshi are beyond unreasonable. You claim to defend humanity, but apparently don't care about what humanity may do to each other and this planet you're trying to protect." Even if the humans won somehow, the Earth was still doomed in his mind. There was no use in fighting the Negaverse at this point.

It was then he noticed another aura and chuckled. So a Page was here too? What exactly did they hope to achieve together? "Ödön go and find that Page will you? You can do what you want with them." The faceless creature nodded and honked before flying off in the direction of the other aura. It was then that Arseno summoned his weapon and teleported directly behind the Super Senshi. "Let's see what you can do." Before he swung his blade at the other man.



Sumner for his part was getting closer and closer to the bad feeling when suddenly the one that felt like the youma started to get closer. He immediately felt his blood turn cold and froze as though he were a deer in headlights. Even if he could save someone from drowning, it was quite different battling waves compared to battling a monster.

He just had to think of this like he was saving someone though. The adrenaline rush, trying to figure out what to do and not worrying about the potential consequences... he took a deep breath, and then opened his eyes again to hear a honking sound and looking up could see a bird-like creature, one without a face however, heading straight towards him, talons out, diving in for an attack!

Sumner managed to roll out of the way in time, but the youma didn't get stuck like he thought it would, but instead flew up for another pass. He decided to move towards the other auras, hoping that if they fought together he could do something against this youma, but since he didn't have magic yet, he thought it was almost useless.

"I would take that as a compliment. Humans are a sickness to the planet. You think you're saving them, but all you're doing is allowing them to kill the planet and destroy everything else. Our solution may not be perfect, but at least we're doing something." Arseno replied, grunting as the punch hit part of his arm as he was dodging out of the way.

He jumped backwards and let the Youma join him by landing on his arm. "You won't be able to defeat me. You may be able to make me leave, but you will not stop me." He said, before giving the Youma a boost and letting it dive for the Page again.

Arseno teleported once more, but this time right in front of the Super, another swing coming the Super's way from Arseno's Horseman's Pick.



Sumner took a moment to catch his breath as the other senshi started to talk to him. "I'm uh, okay for the moment at least." He said, hoping that there was still some way to escape the situation. "More than a Captain?" What did that mean? What was a Captain? Why did the General look like he was going to send a plague on everything?

Sumner couldn't think for too long as the Youma was up in the air and in a dive straight towards him! He rolled out of the way, making sure to protect the mini guitar that he had with him. After all, he didn't know if it gained some sort of powered armor or if it was just as susceptible to damage as a regular mini guitar. "Uh yeah sure! I got it!" Sumner yelled doubt clearly heard in his voice.

Arseno really shouldn't have looked but as the world went dark and quiet he knew he was in trouble. He couldn't defend himself like this. He cursed, unable to hear himself so he didn't much care how loud he was. "Ödön here, NOW!" He yelled, causing the Youma to honk as it was kicked. It didn't bring the Youma down, but it certainly wounded him. He flew back to his master, honking a bit loudly at what had happened before touching Arseno's shoulder. The General looked in the way that he thought was correct and said, "Don't think this will be how it ends next time." He then teleported back into the Negaspace with Ödön, using the time there to recover. He would have to note all of this down. So the senshi could deafen and blind for a moment... that could be dangerous.


Sumner cried out as he got scratched on his arm and as he went to hold it, the Senshi came over and kicked the monster in the face! Sumner moved back a little, feeling quite useless at this point but it seemed that the "officer" had called the monster back and then teleported away. It sent a shiver down his spine. That any of the "Negaverse Agents" could do such a thing. They could literally pop in from nowhere and attack.

For a moment he wondered if the General would come back, but it seemed that it was a true retreat and they were safe... for now. He looked over at the Senshi, giving him a grimace. "Sorry uh... I know I wasn't a lot of help. Still getting used to all of this." He said, taking a moment to check his wound. It wasn't too bad. It wouldn't require stitches but he would definitely have to take care of it properly.

Sumner took a look at the hand and then shook it. "Sumner. I don't have any magic yet so I can't help in that department, but I guess I'm learning still." He sighed, feeling his arm ache. "Well, I guess being a distraction is good enough too since I can't really do anything else. I can't fight, that's for sure. But I do like to help at least. It's good to meet you Etamin, I'm glad I know another ally on "our" side now." Pain went through his arm again. "That Youma got me pretty good though, I'm going to power down and find something to bandage this up with. We can get together sometime later though and talk if you want?"
