The Game Hits the PA and multi colored lights begin to flash. Ken rises up on platform to the stage, standing among a thin layer of smoke rising from under the stage. "Making his way to the ring, from Kansas City, Missouri, weighing in at 225 pounds, Ken Armand!" Ken begins to make his way down the ramp, pyro continuing to go off behind him. He stops at the end of the ramp and looks around the arena, out into the fans. Eventually, he turns and walks to the right, walking around the ring. He hops up onto the apron, then turns to face the crowd, his back to the ropes. He raises his fists and leans back against the ropes while multi-colored pyros shoot up from the turnbuckles. The crowd continues to give a mixed reaction he steps into the ring through the ropes. The lights come back up and the flashing lights stop while the music dies down.

The arena lights dim and a spotlight shines on the arena entrance as Weak Aside by Bloodbath blasts out of the arena speakers.
♫We're born to reign as masters
To ashes we'll burn the pastures
Repell their ways back to nothingness♫
Loud boos are heard from the crowd as Cartwright enters the arena wearing a black robe which shines in the light thanks to the red sequins that are all over it. Cartwright basks in the spotlight, looking towards the fans and embracing the jeers before he begins to make his way down the ramp and towards the ring.
♫Chaos in symmetry
This glorious victory
In darkness only we can see♫
Michael Buffer: "Coming to the ring at this time, from London, ENGLAND and weighting-in at 225 lbs. Wearing black, he is one of the most recognised stars in the history of professional wrestling. He is the self-proclaimed Extraordinary Englishman. Representing The Ferocious Four.....he is........CAAAARTWRIIIIGHT!"
♫Transcend with rage of the elite
The new order come to rise and shine

Cartwright steps up the steel steps and enters the ring through the ropes. Cartwright stands in the center of the ring posing, his arms out to his sides and hands open with his eyes closed as he listens to the surrounding fans. Cartwright removes his entrance robe to reveal his black wrestling tights and boots.
Tony Schiavone: "The last Nitro Main Event features the two men who had the most heated rivalry during the Nitro Era!"
Larry Zbysko: "A fitting way to bring this era to an end! Cartwright and Ken Armand put everything they had into winning or keeping the most prestigious championship in the wrestling world, the WCWG World Heavyweight Championship! I'm looking forward to this!"

The times have certainly changed in terms of fan favor since that first Nitro. Ken has had a rough few weeks but he's focused on the here and now. As the bell rings he moves to the center of the ring, waiting for Cartwright to meet him there

Cartwright slowly makes his way towards the center of the ring, taking his time as the fans react with excitement for the very last match on Nitro. The Lad knows what Ken is like from their prior battles, so he chooses to greet his opponent with a right hand to the face!

Ken is clocked right in the face, knocking him back a few steps. Ken pushes his hair back from his face and sighs. If that's what the number one contender wants, Ken is going to give it to him as he comes back aiming a kick to the his gut that he'd follow with some rights of his own to the face

Ken isn't going to get punched in the face and let it slide, what a nice way to greet a rival! Ken fires-back with a kick to Cartwright's gut that hunches him over, followed by a punch that staggers The Lad into the ropes. Ken keeps the punches coming as Cartwright bounces back and forth against the ropes, until The Englishman tries to cut him off with a knee to the ribs and an axe handle smash!

Ken doubles over from the knee, then drops to a knee from the ax handle smash, his comeback cut off for now

Cartwright looks happy with his work while the crowd boos him for bringing the match to a halt. His next move already figured out, The Lad looks to rebound off the ropes so that he can use the momentum to drive his forearm into the back of the kneeling Ken's head!

Ken comes up off the knee as Cartwright runs to the ropes, looking to catch him with a sidekick to the gut to stop him in his tracks

Before Cartwright can dive forwards, Ken catches The Lad with a kick to the gut that staggers him backwards into a turnbuckle, hunching him over!

Ken goes right after Cartwright, looking to pummel him with a flurry of rights and knife edged chops in the corner

Cartwright tries to cover-up and protect himself from Ken's rights, but throwing those chops into the mix makes it difficult to predict! The chops sting and the punches hurt, so The Lad tries to fight out of the corner by unleashing some backhand chops of his own!

Good to know none of the animosity has gone away between these two. Just as Ken feels he's getting some good shots in, Cartwright fires back with chops of his own. Ken backs up a bit, chest stinging, but attempts another kick to the gut to cut Cartwright off again

It's like the two never stopped fighting! The blows continue to get more intense, as Ken's second kick to the gut drops Cartwright to a knee!
