Camelot stood atop the roof of the library, looking out over the city as he always did. He was a quiet man, these days, but not by choice. Things beyond his control stole his attention away from the city he cared most about, and the people he was sworn to protect.
He would not let his attention wane again, though: he was determined to renew his pledge, and live up to what he accepted many years ago as his own personal code as a knight. He was given these powers for a reason, after all, and losing his focus to doubt, fear, or anything else was not acceptible. He could not allow himself to let those that needed him down.
Whether they knew he was there or not.
The Royal Knight decided that instead of standing vigil over his usual few blocks of street, he would go out and patrol directly. Generally, the Negaverse knew better than to continue any nefarious deeds they were up to once they felt his massive aura approaching, so it was relatively easy to keep his patrol quiet and without conflict.
But tonight, maybe he was looking for something. A clearer purpose. A renewed interest. A spark. Something needed to call to him, as he was longing to answer. He just did not know what he was missing.

Large energy signatures were a call. It plainly said that someone of a great rank was there and you should choose wisely of you dated approach. Wolframite had meet many a Royal and there were few he never wanted to see. As of late, keeping tabs on which Order Royals were active and if there were any new members to the rank was important for Negaverse Intel.
As a captain, he knew he could teleport if things got dire, and didn't plan to engage. Of anything, he hoped he'd see Castor, though he dated not admit that to anyone.
The signature was moving but didn't seem to rush to any certain direction. Since he knew his own signature was visible, he moved directly to the source. As he drew nearer, a difference in the signature compared to senshi started to manifest and he became more and more aware he was approaching the only other order faction.
As he drew closer on the street, he stopped once his luminous golden eyes saw what his twisting gut had guessed.
"Camelot?"

Camelot turned when he heard his name, though he had felt the aura approaching him from a distance away. It did not have his shield summoned, nor did he seem particularly aggressive. Not that he ever did, even when he was in a tense mood. Instead, he looked more tired than anything else, soft green eyes falling on the vaguely familiar form, though he lifted his eyebrows in wonder. That was the tricky thing with glamour, and with side switching. He had met Wolframite both when he was previously a Negaverse soldier, and when he had purified, of course, but now that he had gone back, the connection between all three had been momentarily severed. A heavy sense of loss, however, quickly settled, and his expression fell further. He nodded his head, at least turning fully and no longer walking down the street. It wasn't like he had a purpose beyond an encouter like this, anyway. Frowning, he took a very deep breath, as if steadying himself. "Ah. Yes." He engaged quietly, taking a step toward the Negaverse soldier.

He moved slowly, cautious as to what his treatment would be given what he was. To make his intentions clear, he rose his claws up. No attacking. No fights from him.
He wasn't sure if Camelot could even guess who he was now with the mutations and the switch and so he wrestled with how to best deliver the news. Despite being happier back in the Negaverse's embrace, he did have a sense of regret for what had transpired between him and Camelot. The man had the wrong ideas if what a knight should be but he had been willing to risk his energy and safety to purify him and Bismuthite. That he did not forget.
"It's me. Wolframite. Gevaudan." He added, not sure which one would click.
"I..." He tried to work his mind and feelings into words. "I wanted to see you. To say I'm sorry. For everything."

Camelot looked sad, his usually warm green eyes growing a little softer, and his age a bit more apparent on his face. He seemed tired, and took a very deep breath before letting it out in a quiet, restrained sigh. There were parts of this war that he would never get used to, and never really know how to deal with. He hated seeing knights lost, or people hurt, and he knew that Wolframite had been both. Before and after his purification, and now back with the Negaverse. Maybe he had found a little more of himself, but the use of Chaos as that answer could never sit well with the Royal Knight. No matter how understanding he tried to be. "I was hoping I might be wrong," he said, with a nod. At length, he offered a thin smile, tilting his head to the side. "Everything? There were some things you don't have to apologize for. And some things I should, as well. And I am sorry, for failing you. For not helping you more. I should have done more than simply purify you... and it does pain me now to see you back with the Negaverse. Though after our last parting, I can't say I'm all that surprised." Dad was not upset. Dad was disappointed.

Despite his loyalties and uniform now, he still felt a kinship to knights. They were just the same people, the same fighters, as the Negaverse was with a different energy. There was misguidance for their cause but if they unified then they would be a wonderous force. Camelot was the only leader of this around and his kind nature was inspiring but he didn't hold the gravity of leaders that Wolframite was familiar with in the Negaverse. The ones with power, strength, and demanded a respect or meet the consequences.
Maybe the knights needed a softer hand. Or maybe Camelot wasn't able to play the part.
It was clear from his expression that he was not happy and that he had regrets. So did Wolframite. Not matter the rank or side, mistakes were human.
"I never told you or anyone the full scope of what I was going through. Not even Bismuthite could take that from me despite his attempts. I am glad you gave him peace at least. He didn't want to be part of this war and was only there I feel to watch me. I'm not even sure how you would have helped me. I think I had to hit my low-point and loose everything to finally let go of my revenge. I wish I wasn't so stubborn. Maybe things would have gone differently. If I listened and wasn't so selfish. If I didn't feel I was giving out justice and felt righteous in my delusions."
"But that doesn't change who I am either. I went to the side of Order for free will to do whatever I liked, and all I did was think if the Negaverse and hurting those who wronged me. I was escaping over my fear if death if I tried to go against the Negaverse's orders for that revenge. Part of me hoo d I would find new purpose, but I lapsed back to who I was before. Purification isn't some miracle cure to fix everyone's issues. It just changes your energy signature and your uniform."
"And takes part of your mind. I think I'm even worse for that. I could only remember the people I left behind."
He moved closer to before the knight.
"I don't consider you my enemy. You risked a lot to help me. I'm grateful for that."
