Wolframite had not heard from the small Mauvian in some time. While he understood that Mauvians had a job and life if their own, often times seeming outside of the organization as their own entity, he had been curious what the Mauvian had been up to as of late. Last he remembered was helping him find a new office and had assumed he enlisted the help of more officers since then.
Curious and with some free time, the captain rounded the corner of a hallway and walked down the echoing hallways of the castle before meeting the door of said Chip.
With a talking if his claws against the door, he stepped back and waited to see if anyone was home.

Chip, of course, didn't officially have an office or anything of the sort. But he'd definitely made use of unused space, piling it with materials, parts, and half-finished projects. There were machines churning, gears spinning and steam pumps puffing little clouds now and then, fans blowing the mist around, and a little conveyor belt that appeared to just be moving some gears around in a circle. In short, it was a mess. And, at the center of it all, atop a little pillow and laying on his back, was one tiny kitten, a kitten-sized hat next to him as he peered at the door...which had swung open upon being tapped on. The kitten's tail flicked in a pleased sort of way. "Hey, it's big sneezy! Hiii! Where have you been hiding?" he asked, not moving. His voice was still quite small and child-like, though it wasn't so loud in the room that he was hard to hear. In fact, given how much stuff was moving in the room, it was surprisingly quiet.

"That's Captain Sneezy and I've been busy working. Never a full day with errands and patrols and training. You seem to have been.." He glanced at some of the machinery with a thin brow raised. "..busy."
Moving carefully as to not hit his toe or topple anything, he s**t the door and came inside.
"Wanted to check in. Haven't seen you in a while and was wondering if you might need anything. I'm a bit more able to help these days. Also to see how you've been. You seem relaxed." He joked as he moved closer.

"Oh, Captain!" Chip replied, and rolled onto his belly and up to his feet. "That's cool~ Do you get your own office now? I should go have a look at it, hehe." With a practiced bap of his paw, his hat bounced into the air and onto his head...a bit askew, but close enough. "I am always relaxed," he announced imperiously. "Everyone loves me, after all~ Well, except those angry youma over in the rift, but I don't go over there!" He walked right up to Wolfy's foot, and tapped on it. "I hope you took your medicine today~" he said playfully.

"I'm not sure I get an office yet. I suppose I should ask though I frankly wouldn't know what to do with it. Never been much for paperwork, but if I want to serve the Queen to the best of my ability, I should start. No excuse to let that slack." He admitted.
"And of course I took my medicine. I wouldn't think of coming here unless I was prepared." He knelt down and owned both clawed hands opened and palm up to form a cupped platform for him.
"Can I help a esteemed and loved-by-all Guardian today? I am free to be at your command." He said with a smile.

Tail lifted and body raised, Chip haughtily stepped onto the offered claw platform, then promptly rolled onto his side with a giggle. “Well, I could maybe use some help rearranging stuff soon...But let’s start with just having a look around. Gimme a boost to survey my domain.” Whether or not he was completely serious with that description was somewhat hard to pin down. To a point, at least, he definitely was.

"Yeah some organization couldn't hurt." He said and easily but carefully lifted the Mauvian up. The desire to say Simba was strong but he kept that to himself.
"Working on anything interesting lately?" He asked, looking at the random odds and ends and wondering what was someone's requested project and which ones where Chip's personal fancies.
"Do Mauvians take on other Mauvians as apprentices?" He asked out of curiousity. Chip didn't seem to work with anyone else and Wolfrsmite often saw cats on there own. Was that the way it just usually was or were there groups too.

"I'm working on a hovercraft!" Chip declared proudly, and waved a paw to one side. There was a roughly disc-shaped object about 3 feet across, partially disassembled with many gears, crystals, and wires scattered around it...and appeared to have cat-sized controls inside. "I guess that could happen, yeah," he allowed. "But all the other Mauvians around are either really mean, or don't really do this sorta thing all that much. So, I'll just do my own thing~ General Hessonite hasn't asked me to do too much, so I just make what I think is good, and people ask for. Always be learning!"

"A hoverboard?" He continued to hold the Mauvian up as he regarded the like that could, he assumed, become such a thing. He had no eye for technology and didn't even pretend to understand the basics one would need to go about making something so complex.
"That - actually sounds like a really impressive thing to have. Will it be your personal vehicle?" He asked.
It seemed Chip was just occupying his own time, and he wondered if the Mauvian couldn't be better used for other projects. "Have you ever tried using tech on youma?" He asked.

"Maybe! If I can get it to work right," Chip replied happily, and patted the paw holding him up to suggest he didn't need to be held up now. "Not a lot," he replied, shaking his little head. "Nobody's asked me for tech for youma, and most of them don't like me, anyway. Why? Do you need something?" His question sounded almost hopeful. He definitely loved getting requests for his creations, so the possibility of another request made his tail twitch around happily.

"Not for me but the feral youma we let patrol and energy gather on their own. When they go out, they aren't returning any information when they get killed and they can't tell us where and how they were killed. Of we can out a monitor on some, that could give us more Intel." He said as he lowered Chip back down to where he had been sitting.
"And if I can get a few youma to rush into the city and patrol, they could do a city wide scan of areas that might be giving off larger order pings. The senshi have to be gathering somewhere. We never heard of a place they stay or a meeting place. They invaded the Negaverse. Who says we can't invade them sometime. Having youma who are fast or can fly could gather a lot of data if fitted with recording devices."

"Oh, that is quite the idea," Chip replied, patting the big paw supporting him, and started stream of consciousness considering the problem, speaking rather rapidfire. "I'd need to set up a way to pick up auras mechanically, and then a way to transmit that back to a central point...mm, if I could somehow put it on a bunch of youma, and track where they are, I wouldn't need to figure out how far away something is on one youma, just the direction. Oh, maybe I could power it off the youma directly, or strap it to some crystals here..." He kept going for a bit. "Oh, but then I'd need a display method...those tablets are so boring. Maybe take over another castle room and build a projector...yeah!"

"We can do just a very small run on one youma. Bit the problem is also security. Youma get dusted a d return to the Rift. Whatever you make needs to not display anything to anyone other than a Negaverse officer. Or just you. It also needs to not be left behind if a youma gets destroyed. They aren't very durable after all. If we can find a group of the same kind of youma or at least similar in build, then you wouldn't have to make different types of whatever you'll make. It doesn't have to be something for an ongoing run. Powering that many youma reads requires a lot of energy but a sorrt run could give us better ideas of what the enemy is doing."
"I'm not sure how possible that would be, but I think our feral youma getting more uses could be helpful. They are a lot smarter than people give them credit for."

Chip nodded thoughtfully. "It's too bad the feral ones all try to eat me if they see me," he said with a bit of disappointment in his voice. "I'd love to try fitting stuff to 'em. But I guess if you could find some little youma, I could figure out how to stick things on 'em..." "Better not keep one here with me, though, unless it's actually friendly."

"I can scout some feral youma and find sones that will let me handle them. I can take measurements and give them to you. Then I can fit them with your invention and set them loose. Leave the handling of the youma to me. We don't need getting hurt or the youma to try and tear off the equipment because they seen a Mauvian around it. It might make them nervous."
He leaned against the counter as he looked over at him.
"I can lead one youma out with the first tester and less them around. See how well it does. I've been interested how well feral youma perform and how much distance they cover for a while."
He smiled at him. "No youma is ever friendly. They all have instincts. Even against me. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving any here with you. I'd hate to hear if I introduced an idea that got you maimed."
