"Only the weak speak loudly." Paladins are getting two new abilities that I know of.
1. Enrage.
3nodding Yes, the new Paladin Provoke. One... "little" downside... Recast is 3min.
Proof: Type in "/recast Enrage". Remember the capital E. Though it could be for WAR or some other job.
2. Auto-Refresh.
3nodding No more screaming "GIVE ME THAT REFRESH, WOMAN!" to your RDMs. I really don't have any proof on this one, but this is one big possiblity. I am 70% sure of this though. This is beacuse on an interview with a developer he stated that he wants PLD to be a better tank then NIN beacuse NIN was never ment to actually be a tank in the first place. :3 100% Sure on this now.
This is all to come in the EP or in an update.

Of course, this doesn't mean that PLD/RDM will be any better... 3 min recast stinks. Won't be reliable, just a last-minute provoke if hate is being shifted towards the DoRK.

Square-Enix is not going to let BLMs be THAT powerful with Death at their disposal. They might give them something like, maybe, Meteor. Maybe even Doom. But not Death. And, I lol'd at the Kuffie No more screaming "GIVE ME THAT REFRESH, WOMAN!" to your RDMs.

Angelic Anasurae Square-Enix is not going to let BLMs be THAT powerful with Death at their disposal. They might give them something like, maybe, Meteor. Maybe even Doom. But not Death. And, I lol'd at the Kuffie No more screaming "GIVE ME THAT REFRESH, WOMAN!" to your RDMs. "Only the weak speak loudly."
I think it's possible, but it would only have a very low rate of working.

PLD or NIN?
From a Thief's perspective, I could really care less about which tank I'm placing hate on.
A good PLD, however is something I love and hate at the same time.
SC partner usually doesn't turn the mob for a SATAWS, even if it is a pretty good DD.
With a NIN tank usually the mob does turn for SATAWS.
The abilities coming to PLD though make them more disirable, in my opinion.

There are a lot of moves in the game structure that players do not/will never have access to. Most that you can type /recast and see are mob only spells. Death, Meteor, Utsusemi: San, and Banish IV are some of the examples.
As for pld or nin? Depends entirely on the situation. Though, I would love to see PLD buffed a little so they can T2T tank some of the end game NM's that are pretty much NIN onry unless you have 6 whms.
