Snowstorm didn't enjoy leaving the burrow outside of her comfort times -- namely, the early dawn and early evenings. They were the safest times, as the world began to be colored in shades of red and orange, and Snowstorm felt comfortable darting in and out of the growing shadows to hide her bright white fur.

Concessions must be made, however, for certain circumstances. In this case, Snowstorm was beginning to feel tense and anxious in her own burrow as the weather shifted into Spring and beckoned her outside. Under the bright sunlight of the afternoon, the white speckled doe left the safety of her burrow in search of a most important treasure.

Flowers.

Snowstorm needed flowers.

She liked to keep her burrow well kept and decorated, and the sight of brightly colored flowers always made her feel happy. It also served her guests well, either for snacking or ambiance, and the flowers she'd been hiding in her burrow had long since lost their vibrancy. This was, to be honest, the only reason Snowstorm braved the bright sunlight of the day. It was the best time for flower-picking, and if she were lucky, she might even find some berries for making dyes later.

As Snowstorm left the safety of her small burrow, she leapt through the grass of the Sunset Acres, making her way to the thicket of fruit trees nearby. It was rare to find any such fruit this early in the year, but she had been lucky in the past with finding some flowers and greenery to decorate her burrow with. The doe slowed as she passed a few trees, ears straight up as she listened to her surroundings. All seemed safely quiet... She lowered her ears, and continued forward, stopping at a patch of small white flowers.

"Perfect." She beamed to herself, starting to gather some of the flowers to bring back home. It was a start to livening her burrow up for Spring.
