xxxx X xxxxANNOUNCEMENTSxxxx X xxxx spaceGuild announcements are going to be crew's primary method of keeping members up to date on what's going on in the guild. It is highly recommended that you have them enabled so that you can keep track of anything important. However, to keep a record on-hand for reference, and in case someone has a reason for just really, really not wanting them on, all announcements will be posted here. If you are vehemently opposed to having your guild announcements enabled, make sure to check this thread at least once a week.

September 1, 2019 - Bring Out Yer Dead spaceHey guys, I know it's been forever since I mentioned this AT ALL, but, we're officially opening now! I'm going to be 100% honest and admit that I let this sit for a couple of months because I wanted the seasons to fall in a way that they were contained in a proper year (the current season being September-December). Yes, I'm like that.
spaceYou're free to start working on your characters, plotting out where you want them to begin, coming up with plans, etc. The first couple of seasons will be pretty free form while we get a solid grasp on dynamics and such, around season 3 we'll start introducing actual plotlines and antagonists and all that fun stuff. For now, it's just your basic Slice of Life/Try Not To Die game.
spaceI'll be selecting the characters to die in the first week of October, so expect a PM no later than Oct 7. If you don't get one, congrats, you don't have to kill anybody.
spaceMake sure to read and sign the rules, and invite people to join if you know anyone interested!

September 21, 2019 - Casting Call spaceHey, guys, character creation is a-go and y'all need to have profiles posted by the end of the month! I need to have a headcount (hah) for the death lottery. Plus it's good to plan out groups ahead of time, and I wanna get into the swing of things.
spacePlease note that you are NOT required to only create characters during the off-season, you can make them at any time. However, characters created during the season will not be included in the death lottery (though they can be used as an alternative death if you want to keep a character who gets selected), and it will be your responsibility to integrate them into the action at hand.
spaceRecruit members if you can, since we're wanting to get started and the whole point of the guild setting is so that we can have more people without making things confusing. I'm also looking for crew help so if you're interested, shoot me a PM (no need to use the form just yet, it's a little redundant since I know most of y'all).

September 26, 2019 - Head count! space We're closing in on the end of September and I want us to be able to get properly underway and posting as soon as possible. So, if you're working on a character profile somewhere and it's not quite done, please either shoot me a PM, or make WIP threads in the subforum (label them as WIP or UC to make sure they're not looked over). I really just need to know how many characters we have. I'll also need names so that I can include them in the death lottery in case the profile isn't ready in time. I'm trying to make sure I can tell people who's dying (and negotiate if they want to save someone) no later than October 7th! You can add more characters at any time (provided you don't already have three, which is the limit), but they won't be included in the death lottery if I don't know they exist, so make sure to let me know!

October 1, 2019 - Cue Opening Credits spaceIt's October! That means we are officially starting, guys! If you haven't posted a profile (even UC), please PM me with your planned character's names by the end of the week. I really want to set up the death lottery so we can plan out people's deaths with plenty of time to really enjoy them. This season will run for the entirety of October-December, so you can still work on them, but I want to get started on an outline asap.

spaceHopefully we'll attract some members once we have actual posting happening. Recruiting is always helpful, so please do so!
