Our general interests include the arts of all kinds, peace, cooperative living, and free bunny love!
This warren focuses on creating artwork and crafts, story and lore keeping, and gardening berries specializing in making them into the very best dyes.

Basically a bun hippie commune. Welcome, friends!

~ History of the Arbor ~

In a time long before, in an age already forgotten by fast breeding industrious little bunnies, the Arbor may have been something else. Something made by creatures larger than they, to serve some other purpose. They know it is not completely 'natural' but that adds to the magic of the place, for in their eyes it is perfect!

The warren was originally founded by 5 creative, colorful... and maybe cajoled rabbit friends that had something in common: A dream that warrens could be different!

~ Colors and their Roles ~

At the Arbor there are not really traditional ‘ranks’ like in other warrens. Here, buns join one of 5 groups represented by colors that symbolize what they have an affinity or passion for within the warren. There are senior members within each color, with one Elder or “Founder” that guides them all and represents them on the Council of Founders.

Green Paws are the most common rank, and buns that have an affinity for nurturing and tending plant life will gravitate to this color group. They are responsible for harvesting and storing food, tending berry plants, “weeding” around the arbor grounds to keep things nice and allow the berry bushes to thrive, tend clover patches, and lots of other flower gathering and tree hugging type roles!

The Blues are the painters, dyers, and crafters of the warren. They select premium berries for making their inks and dyes, design and apply dye patterns and markings for other individuals, create artworks and weave grass crafts, and follow any number of other physical art callings. They also decorate around the warren, make burrows comfy and homey, and help plan ceremonies!

The Red Guard are the guardians of the Arbor. Someone has to be level headed and help keep all the hippie art buns safe, that is what the Red Guard was created for. They have more of a hierarchy than other colors, as there are captains that lead scout missions and buns are stationed around to spot visitors before they approach the inner Arbor. Buns that follow this calling are athletic, smart, swift and are not generally as artistically minded but can appreciate the beautiful things about their home. They do like to show off their pride with red dyes but it is not required just a preference. Generally a Buck-only role but scrappy and strong does are sometimes welcomed.

The Pinks are akin to the opposite of the Red Guard, and are generally a doe-only role. Doe minded bucks with a strong calling may be welcomed though. These are the mothers and baby minders/caretakers of the warren. They also serve as counselors, soothers, teachers, caretakers of the weak or sick, and general maintainers of the burrows. If a doe from other groups falls pregnant she either elects to join the Pinks temporarily or can join permanently if she wishes. Does may also just leave their young to be raised by this group as hippy bunnies do, so they can continue their free spirited ways XD.

Yellow group are the storytellers/entertainers/ drama buns and performance enthusiasts. These buns feel a strong calling to acting, performing, or lore keeping. They perform for the warren at gatherings and ceremonies, or just provide entertainment and excitement for a morale boost. This is actually considered a very important role in the community, especially to get through hard times and harsh winters, and educate the warren through storytelling and plays. They are responsible for recording the tales and history of the warren through special oral traditions and memorization study. These buns may also travel more freely outside the warren than other roles, and even embark on missions to friendly warrens to share information and exchange stories and gossip from time to time.

If a bun dies from the founder's council, the color group would choose a new leader of their group to represent them (generally the bun perceived as the oldest/ wisest - often the original leader's assistant bun if they had one or a bun that helped lead the group anyway)

~ General Warren Culture ~

Arbor buns are generally very free-spirited, open to trying all sorts of new things, and enjoy creating and experimenting. They really like to express themselves, and also like to work together! Lots of their day is dedicated to just doing what they want, or following their whims (save for the Red Guard who have a lot more structure and take life a little more seriously). All buns are expected to contribute in some way though, and buns that are perceived to not ‘pull their weight’ may be looked on less favorably.

This community supports gender and relationship fluidity, and jealousy and bigotry are highly frowned upon. They really enjoy their peace (not to say there isn't plenty of drama in a warren full of this much fabulousness ok) but just keep this in mind if your bun joins the group, make sure it is the right fit for you or your bun’s beliefs!

All kits are generally raised in a communal way among the Pinks, and then the warren at large, and eventually join whatever color group they gravitate to naturally. All adults enjoy sharing their ‘profession’ with kits to help foster their artistic inclinations.

They highly encourage all members to be dyed in some way! Buns don't have to be dyed the colors of their elected group. But some see it as a status/pride thing (primarily the Red Guard like to have a red dye spot or marking of some kind). Buns can join without dye and earn it while living with the warren, but good dye jobs are prized and dyed buns are much appreciated here =D

~ General RP Stuff ~

Normal rules for Gaia and Hopscotch apply!
Keep things pg13 or whatever, play nice, no god modding, and generally no violence here!
If you have some sort of plot you want to play out that doesn't fit in our general free love hippie bun lifestyle contact Sully or one of the founders first to discuss.

You may make threads here as much as you like for your buns visiting the warren.
Use the [PRP], [ORP] if applicable, or you can put [Solo] or [Story] or something for your alone posts if you just want to write something about your bun checking us out!
You can have your buns RP in all of our [Location] posts at will, as long as you read the first post and generally follow the guidelines of the location there.
If you are disturbing the peace or there are complaints about you, your bun may be escorted off the warren 'territory' by the Red Guard.
Repeat offenders may find themselves banished. But we love everyone so please don't make us not love you!

~ Joining ~

All rabbits are welcome to come and go as they please as "visitors" which are always gladly and heartily welcomed. (Visitor bunbuns are asked to sign in here with details of their visit please! )

If a visitor decides they want to join on a permanent basis they must wait for a Joining Ceremony. These will be warren wide celebrations that are held once a season (or every other season depending on how busy things are/what is going on etc)

At the ceremony the founders will be gathered, and a bun can speak before them to declare their intended color group and what they bring to that group/the warren of value. ( For example, maybe they bring their swift running feet to help the Red Guard as a scout, or their artistic ability to the Blues, or something of physical value to the whole warren etc.)
It is encouraged that prospective members visit the warren inhabitants and join in on activities in a few of the color groups before making their decision to stay and join permanently.

The council will vote, and a majority vote allows you to become a full member! And everyone celebrates of course!
The council also votes to expel members (this is very rare, they are peaceful it would need to be unanimous vote) or visitors if they pose a threat.

~ Joining Ceremony~

The Joining Ceremony is a warren wide event that is much looked forward to and enjoyed. They are usually held once a season or every other season! Founders will announce when there is one coming up.

The ceremony is very festive, all the groups bring things they have worked on through the season to share with the warren, and rabbits that want to join get to present themselves to the founders! Buns must be registered as visitors prior to the celebration date to be able to request to join.

A joining request can be as short or elaborate as you like. If you make it 500+ words, you can submit it as a rollable RP for an RP reward ( you are welcome to roll it with your post or a second post after OOC to roll).
Ideas to write about for the joining ceremony RP if you aren't sure:
- Some history of how your bunny came to the Arbor.
- Things they have seen/enjoyed/ buns they have met during their time here.
- Plans for the future when they are a member of the group.
- What they can bring to the group they want to join/something they are good at/ something they really want to learn more about.


The celebrations in Spring and Summer will usually be held outside around the large flat rock 'stage' the Yellows have adopted. In Winter and Fall they are often held inside in the gathering burrow.

The Green Paws will bring their favorite foraged and harvested edibles, items and generally help with a special 'feast'
The Yellows perform their plays, retell stories, and share gossip and news they have gathered.
The Blues help decorate the event and create fun items to wear, and colorful dyes to share as well as artwork to show off.
The Pinks run heard on the kits, hold fun activities for them to play, and shoo them off to bed so the adults can stay late.
The Red Guard get to mingle and enjoy themselves, in shifts of course says Caper, and also share any news and updates about warren security.
