One of these days, Priclase was going to be strong enough that she no longer hand to rely on sneak attacks to get things done. One of these days she would be able to swagger right up to someone and grin and reach out and take their energy with nothing more than a satisfied smile on her face and a gleam in her eyes.
One of these days…she wouldn’t feel strong only when she was out with ‘Nubi…and she’d be able to be strong enough to protect the other corrupt and would be amazing while she did it.
Today however…was not that day, and as Periclase watched the stronger green haired senshi who looked just like a girl coming from a Halloween party, she bit her lip, holding out a hand and kissing it, whispering; “Hemlock’s kiss”, and blowing the magic at the other senshi from where she sat in the tree watching her.
Peri knew that her aura could be felt…but so far it seemed that her hiding place had been good enough…and if she could just…cripple the other senshi a little…
It would be so easy to swoop in and just take whatever energy she needed!
…And maybe a pretty green starseed too!
…Maybe.
Though…today might not be the day for that yet either.Lithiasaur Hemlock’s Kiss Periclase puts a hand to her lips and blows a kiss, which takes the shape of three bunches of hemlock flowers, if hit with one of the bunches of flowers, an opponent will experience mild effects of hemlock poisoning, including dizziness and trembling. The effects last for twenty five seconds and the attack can be used twice, hitting up to a total of six opponents. If the bunches do not find a target within ten seconds, they dissipate and the attack is wasted. At most the bunches can travel ten feet away from Periclase.

Super Sailor Sinistra was ready for the seasons to change. All this heat and sunshine was lovely for her tan lines, but did not really suit her fuku's design. While she was very much on trend as a civilian, having it constantly pointed out that it 'was not halloween yet' got tiring after almost a year. Soon, though, the Senshi of Brooms would be able to enjoy different kinds of comments. Like how cute she looked, and how she matched the season. For some reason, halloween was now her favorite time of year. And she hated scary things. She felt the familiar aura and attributed that to a scary thing. Frowning, she hesitated, knowing it was close but not knowing where. It was only by chance that she spotted the magic heading her way, and she bounced backwards, holding up her hands and called her trusty magical broom. "Sonic BROOM!" Quote: Super Sailor Scout Attack: Sonic Broom! The gust of wind from her broom, now a more modern style one, is stronger in force and she has a full minute to use her attack after summoning the broom to her hand. She can also use this and her first stage attack once each in a battle. Nothing else really changes in her ability.

Peri hadn’t been expecting the quick reaction, and she really hadn’t been expecting the sudden windstorm.
She clung to the tree branch and finally let out a yelp as she lost her hold and fell to the ground, wincing and rubbing at her backside once she was able to get up enough. Her lungs burned from the wind being knocked out of her and for a moment she saw stars.
“Seriously? You could hurt a person like that!”
Which was the pot calling the kettle black as…well. She was hoping to cause at least some harm.
Teal eyes took in the other senshi once again and after getting back to her feet, Periclase tossed one long pigtail over her shoulder. “Do you…do you have…a broom?”
For a moment, she was almost curious. And very confused. “What the hell?”

SInistra frowned as seriously as she was able, though she was told she never quite got rid of that 'harmlessly cute' expression of hers. At least, that was what Dennis said whenever they trained, even when she was mad at him for being rude or annoying on purpose. She was a Super Senshi, after all: that had to mean something. Holding on to her magical broom while she still had it, she watched the Chaos agent tensely. The last one of these she met had been rather polite and friendly, but she knew better than to assume they were all like that. Even if that was exactly what she wanted to do. "I'm Sailor Sinistra! The Senshi of Brooms! So OF COURSE I have a broom! Don't tease it, it's actually more useful than it looks! I could hurt you if I wanted, but I'm choosing to give you a chance to explain why you attacked me!" She yelped, lacking any authoritative tone or truth to most of what she said.

If her face could have been photographed at that moment, it would have become a meme, she was sure of it. Her eyes were narrowed to confused slits and she looked at the girl with an absolutely incredulous look. “A chance…to explain why I attacked you? Because it’s my job. I’m supposed to gather energy and take s-starseed and all that, and I’m pretty damn good at one of those things, if not the other and…look, why don’t you just be good and let me do my job, and maybe…I’ll let you live. And all that jazz.”
Periclase stood tall, trying to make herself seem much more threatening than she actually was, her eyes now on the broom in the girl’s hands. Did it just stick around forever? Why didn’t she have a hemlock bush she could carry around? That…this just didn’t seem fair somehow…
…Not that she would look anything but stupid if she lumbered around with a giant thing of flowers on her back…and did hemlock even grow on bushes…or was she thinking of something else…?
“So…sit back down. Let me hit you with my magic and let me drain your energy…okay?”
Peri sounded almost hopeful at the end of it, wondering if this would cause the senshi to just…do what she asked. Most likely not but…
“I’ll even say please…how about that?”

Sinistra frowned at her opponent and tilted her head putting on hand on her hip while she held the broom in the other. She shook her head, not entirely convinced either of them wanted to be there, and certainly getting the impression that they were about as good at their 'jobs' as each other. At least, she hoped that was the case. If it was, then maybe they could get out of this situation without having to hurt each other. "Well, while I appreciate your efforts to be polite, and manners do usually go a very long way, particularly with me, I really cannot allow you to take my energy. I'm sorry, but I have to make sure you don't hurt anyone else, so I'm going to have to insist that you go home." She blushed. She could swing her broom again and try to knock her out of the tree, but that might just serve to make her angry and stop talking.

Periclase made a wry face and took another step towards the senshi, wishing that she didn’t have to be so physical in order to drain energy, but gave a smile. “Come on now. If I give you my word that I won’t hurt anyone else tonight so long as you let me drain you a little…doesn’t that mean that you’re making sure I don’t hurt anyone? And also, you’d be helping me, so really, we’d both win, you know. It’s the best plan, if you think about it.”
And Peri had thought about it.
“Because…really even if I tell you that I’m going home…that doesn’t mean I’ll really go…you know? And what if I’m just so mad because I didn’t get my little bit of energy from you that I take too much from the next person I see? What if I kill them and I didn’t have to because I could have just had some from you? You’re really saving someone’s life if you let me have some.”
She tried to make her face look earnest now, her eyes wide with what she hoped looked like innocence.
“And you want to be a real hero, don’t you?”

"yes, but if I trust you, I'm putting my life in your hands, and I don't know you well enough to believe you wouldn't just take all my energy or my starseed the moment you have the chance," she said, then paled. "N-not that I think you would, either. I wouldn't assume the worst of someone, but I just can't assume the best, either. A cautious middle ground is in order... in which we compromise." Sinistra hesitated, not liking the idea of this Nega trying to con her into giving up her own energy, or that she would go out and kill someone. It meant she really would have to fight her, to ensure she did not make good on that threat. "Camelot says that being a hero is all in our choices, and rising up when the time calls for it," she said stiffly, looking uncomfortable, but growing more determined. "If you're going to hurt someone, willing to threaten it regardless of if I give you my energy or not, that makes you a danger in the future just as much as it does right now. So I have to look at the greater good, and do what's right. I have to stop you now!"

Pursing her lips, Periclase sighed heavily. “Look, I promise that I won’t take all of your energy, and…if I’m going to tell the truth I don’t really even like the idea of taking out starseeds. My sister died that way, so it really makes me uncomfortable to even think about it. But I would much rather take the energy of such a pretty senshi than have to go out and find some nasty person to take it from, and I could even play with your hair if you’d let me!”
She was trying to up the charm, working on making her face look pathetic. “I’ve been an utter mess since my sister was killed, and I would just…I don’t know. Like to not be the biggest ******** for once in my life? You’re right, I shouldn’t have threatened you, and I apologize, but please…?”
Peri batted her eyelashes and finally just looked down. “I’d really appreciate if you’d just trust me a little…”
And if not…she’d just have to attack again. The way this senshi was talking…it sounded like it might almost be time for another dose of magic and a tactical retreat but…she hoped she got at least something out of this first.

Orangeish Sherbert Sailor Scout Attack: Clean Sweep! Sailor Sinistra can summon an old looking broom and with a quick sweeping gesture, send a gust of wind at her enemies to knock them off their feet. She can use this skill once a battle, and the broom cannot be used as a weapon or anything tangible. "My hair?" Sinistra touched the braid of her soft green hair with a worried expression on her face. She took very good care of her hair, and was particular about who got to touch it. Knowing the other wanted to play with it was at once disconcerting and a little flattering. Did it look nice? Sinistra had that reaction when she saw nice hair, sometimes, though she never said anything beyond giving compliments. Or maybe she thought it looked so bad, it needed help? That was a little less flattering. "That's not fair, you can't use a story like that to try and guilt people into letting you take their energy... that's very sad. I'm sorry about your sister. If I had one, I certainly wouldn't want to lose her. Err... that... didn't come out as understanding as I wanted it to." Merlinite would be so annoyed with her, to see her waffling and almost considering giving away some of her energy. Camelot would remind her that her energy was precious and she needed to keep herself safe if she was going to help others. Frowning, though feeling incredibly guilty, she took a step back. "No, I'm sorry, I just can't. Clean Sweep!" She called her broom back to her hand, feeling the pull of using her energy, and swung to create a strong (enough) burst of wind.

Well. Damn. So much for trying to be friendly and sweet talk her way into getting some energy. And she would have been nice about it too, but then this senshi had to just go and be…well. A brat. And that was stupid.
Periclase tried to move out of the way of the wind, but felt herself being pushed backwards, but all she wanted to do was just…get a little revenge and hit the girl with some magic…just for some payback for her being so rude and attacking her twice…but.
But maybe payback wouldn’t come today…maybe she should just cut her losses and go while she had the perfect escape route.
Quietly, considering her options for a moment, Peri finally just shrugged. “Whatever. Your loss.” She called to the pretty senshi before running off and leaping up onto a nearby building, running until she could no longer feel the other signature and powering down when she felt that it was safe.
She’d just get stronger. And when she got stronger. Well. That girl would be in for a real fun time, if she had anything to do with it.
