When she had contacted Rhona about wanting to talk about Dark Mirror things, the other woman had readily accepted and so they had decided that Stacey would go to Rhona's and they could catch up there. So here she was, enjoying the awesome tea that had been made, looking at the other but... hesitating. She didn't want to ask about anything that had happened outright. She had wanted to come to catch up with her friend too, but the questions burned in the back of her mind.
Stacey straightened her back a bit more. "Rhona I... apologize for not contacting you or anyone else lately about things. Not much has happened on my end other than getting depressed about the news every day." Stacey said the last part bitterly, although she wanted to be angrier about it. Now though, it just took so much energy to think about. "So I wanted to catch up with you and what you've been doing." At least she hadn't started out with the "bad" questions first!
