Shukata Kujiko

Shukata looked up from what he was doing in the center of the classroom and tilted his head at the sweet sound of a human voice. His eyes seemed to pierce right through her as he walked toward her, staring her down the entire time. "No one walks into a combat magic class on accident." He said, his voice a deep baritone despite him being lithe in figure. He held his hands behind his back as he walked slowly in a circle around her, eyeing her up and down.

She was a timid one, that much he could tell. A weakness of his in some ways. He stopped in front of her and placed a single finger under her chin, forcing her to look him in the eyes. "Are you not interested in learning how to fight and defend yourself with magic?" He asked.

Shukata smirked at her and with a wave of his hand a schedule appeared in his hands. Her schedule. A dark aura surrounded his hand as he went over her schedule with a small smile on his face. "No matter. You are the first to arrive in my class in quite some time." He looked her, right in her eyes and tilted his head. This girl made him feel some way inside. She was cute, timid, just the type of person he could control. The type of person he wanted to control. He hadn't been able to have any fun since he'd been exiled from his land oh so very long ago.

He chuckled and once began to walk away from her but before he got too far he waved his hand yet again and a dark aura would begin to form around Claudette. "Now... I want you to do your best to resist this spell. Worry not, it won't harm you." He said with an... oddly kind smile. Once he waved his hand again the spell would pull her straight to him at a safe but fast speed until she were floating inches from him. If she managed to defend against it, however, she could break free of its influence.

As the light aura surrounded her and his spell began to dissipate he nodded in approval, a hand on his chin and a small smile on his face. She was a natural at defending against dark magic, that was to be certain. But did she know how to dispel more advanced attacks? "A simple test my dear, to see where your skill level stood. You can dispel a simple dark magic spell which is good! But--"

He waved his hand again and this time dark tendrils shot up out of the floor around her and reached for her wrists and ankles. They would attempt to tether her to the ground but this wasn't the only nuance to the spell. No, if they managed to grab her the room would fade into an abyss and she would see nothing.

"I find that most magic users require this class at a time or two. If it is not on your schedule currently, then it definitely should be." He said, a smile on his face.

A dark chuckle would escape the demon's lips as he suddenly sank into the floor and disappeared in a pool of darkness. Without warning he reappeared in the door way with a smile on his face, strangely it was a proud smile.

"Miss Silverwhisper, what better way to test ones abilities than to see them first hand in a simulated real situation. Just because we are users of magic does not mean that we can look at logic as a folly." He said, his wisdom showing through with his words. The room behind him then suddenly shifted from the hallway of the building to appear as an office, complete with desk and chairs.

"In a real combat situation do you think your opponent would give you the time to prepare? Time to study before a test? Hm?" He asked, in no way attempting to patronize or belittle her.

Shukata tilted his head to the side and shrugged his shoulders, stepping out of the way of the doorway. "Is a school not a place to prepare you for the outside world? Hm? This is a class with combat in the name of it. But..." He stopped for a moment and stepped out of the classroom with one hand behind his back and the other stretched out at his side. "Perhaps you're right. It is quite possible that my methods could use a bit of an adjustment. Please, allow me to walk you to class as an apology." He said with a kind smile on his face.

Shukata nodded slowly as he started walking slowly down the hall, trying to match her speed as best he could. "Most magic classes are taught in the same wing. My classroom tends to take up a lot of space considering it's a training arena." He said casually. He walked once again with his hands clasped behind his back like a wise teacher. He glanced at her and smiled kindly.

"You now I have to say I was impressed by the way you use light magic with ease. It normally takes someone many years of practice to use magic that easily." He said, complimenting her. His demeanor had almost completely changed since they'd left the classroom. It wasn't often that a Demon had this kind of personality, but then again he wasn't always a Demon, nor was he one by choice.
