These days, Risasi always felt like he was moving through a fog. Since his family's tragedy, he'd been distant from most others, only really coming close if they needed help. He had been careful and used his past knowledge to avoid most prides; an action, in retrospect, that probably didn't help his gray mentality.

He'd been wandering for some time, and while he usually wasn't up for company, he did find himself a little extra lonely today. It happened every once in awhile, and it always made him wonder if the solitary life was really the best choice. After all, it had been some time since the incident, and didn't he deserve to move on? To find a new, safe home to live out his days? Perhaps he should finally take steps to return to his happy self.

Padding slowly, Risasi kept his eyes alert. His bright pelt really didn't allow for much stealthy movement, so he'd learned from a young age to always be on the defensive. He knew that there were some larger groups not too far off - he could smell them. But, he'd thought he'd kept well enough out of range to not run into any problems.
