Ruby-red eyes scanned the perimeter, looking for possible threats. When the shadow determined it safe, it stepped into the light of the room and revealed to be a boy with coal-black hair and a lithe build. He strode to the back of the line with slow, sure steps and towered over the four-foot fairy in front of him at six-foot-two, intimidating her into sacrificing her spot for the one behind him. Unintentional, but he wasn't going to complain if it meant getting to eat sooner.
He picked a ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich with a can of black coffee and chose to sit at a secluded window seat. 'The scenery leaves much to be desired, but at least the food looks good.' He thought, taking a bite out of his meal and watching the students interact around him.

That's when her forest-green eyes landed on his.
'Crap. Don't come over here.' He looked down and opened his drink. A loud 'pop!' resounded from the can and he flinched, hoping it didn't catch the female's attention. Then it hit him. 'I know! I'll just pretend I'm talking to someone and maybe she'll think I'm crazy and leave me alone.' He faced forward and opened his mouth to speak but realized someone was actually sitting there. A spirit he was oh-so-familiar with.
"Morning, Vylie-poo~!" The blond chirped before giving his signature wink. Vylan swore he saw sparkles and roses radiating off him. He leaned back when the effeminate male leaned forward and pouted. "I was wondering when you'd notice me. Are you purposely not giving me attention? Give me attention!" The male whined, banging his fists on the table and kicking his feet back and forth.
Vylan groaned and dodged flying napkins, sugar packs, and whatever else his companion could reach and throw at him in his hissy fit. ' . . . On second thought, nevermind.'
