 No farther than her mother's paw, Cardinalkit practiced moving around on wobbly paws. Each time she moved around, her legs got a little stronger and her footing a little better. Today, pouncing was on the menu. Rather than target her brother, the redkit decided her mother's tail was the perfect target.
The tail also decided SHE was a great target as it bonked her on the back a couple times before she took the stalking game seriously. That tail was going down! Prime pouncing position assumed, purring motor started running, and mew of challenge unheard. All systems check, kit ready to pounce!belloblossom I can bring in Owlkit if her silence becomes hard to rp with. I am going under the assumption that as Rockclans' Medicine Cat, Hollowstep already knows Cardinalkit and her challenges.

 Hollowstep had realized fairly early on that Flamedapple's kits were... a little unusual. Both Cardinalkit and Bumblekit had quirks that Fawnbriar's kittens didn't possess. Cardinalkit couldn't speak and Bumblekit, for all he had seen, couldn't hear. The two kits made quite the pair, but at least they had been born alive...
The Medicine Cat had a hard time comforting Flamedapple that these kits were born this way through no fault of her own. It was harder perhaps, because he found himself wondering the same thing. Did cats with severe injuries or birth anomalies produce kittens who would be born with similar affects? If Flamedapple were to have another litter, he would have to watch those kits carefully.
As it was, he was happy to watch these kits. He had come by the Nursery to poke his head in, observing the playful, young Cardinalkit creeping upon her mother's tail. Surely she seemed normal enough, for not how quiet she was. Many kits at play would be plenty loud, but not she.
"Care for a new opponent?" He asked her, blinking at her mother and nodding to the queen, before turning his gaze back to Cardinalkit. She didn't have any problems with hearing too, did she? He supposed in his latest observation of her, he would surely find out. He wanted to be certain that her silence was the only thing remotely wr-different about her.EvilSilverDragon Sure that might be for the best, provided you're still interested in this RP.
