User ImageWillow ventured away from her pack in the early morning while it was still cool out. Most of her pack still slept soundly, but she enjoyed being an early riser and the only wolves she passed by were the few of the pack that patrolled the perimeters. She still hadn't chosen what position in the pack she fit into, so for now she was just a member.

The freedom that gave her allowed her to be herself. She didn't have to worry about any responsibilities such as the caretaker, healer, or a hunter might have. Her main concern with having a set position was screwing up. She didn't like to disappoint or make mistakes, so the way she saw it, it was best for her to be just a member.

Willow hummed a soothing song to herself as she pushed the worrisome thoughts aside. She had no particular destination; just a place for her to enjoy and perhaps bring back a kill or two for the pack later. Stopping by the ravine that wound its way through the forest just west from the coastline, she dipped one paw into the cold water and watched the ripple fan out on the surface; distorting her reflection. "I wonder how vast and dangerous the ocean really is," she spoke her thought out loud and turned her gaze westward.
