Deep in the dewy jungle, mist rises into the forest canopy. Golden beams of light streak through broadleafed foliage, warming the creatures who bask in their rays. Ancient and new, mysterious and brilliant, this rainforest is home to many forms of life. One such is the shy soquili above, who has found solitude among the ruins of a lost human settlement. None is sure how she found this place or how she came by her uncannily appropriate appearance; regardless, she has been here long enough to feel an occasional loneliness. She hails from another paradise, one where life was sweet and kind, as it is here. After you speak with her a while, she comes to the conclusion that the place where she is now has its similarities and differences from her old home.
"Where," she asks, "is your paradise? Where would you love to call home?"

This mare is looking to let her imagination drift away into a paradise separate from the one in which she already exists. Describe to her a place of your wildest dreams - convey to her what makes this place special to you through your description. If you'd like, you can describe this place from the point of view of a soquili experiencing it. Please note that because this is descriptive writing, a story arc is not necessary. However, a feeling of a natural end to your entry should be present.

Hiraeth. My soul longs for a place, a home, which I'm not sure even exists outside of my dreams. A place where you can feel the weight of time, where the air is pregnant with possibility. Where the magic of creation permeates everything. A place where the air is pure, the weather is not too hot or too cold. Where the seasons blend gently into the next. Where the mountains meet the sea and sunlight dappled shade is found. Where there is lush greenery and vibrant colors galore. Where one can chase the sun and moon and wind in equal measure. The stars are bright and the storms are fierce.

Username: whoan Brief description of your paradise: A quiet sunset desert covered in golden sand. An ancient land forgotten by time in the stillness of itself. Entry:
Heat waves blur my vision as I take in the glinting gold of the sand around me. Hot, dry air toys with my hair and clothes as the dune I perch upon threatens to swallow me whole. The grains gathered by the winds flutter around me and the vast expanse of warmth as if beckoning me to dance with them. The wind will be our music in the quiet of the heat.
My feet move, slipping on the soft purchase of the earth below me. I dance with the ghosts hiding in the flurries. The sun begins to set, the gold melting to a rust. The desert becomes alive with sound. Foxes, birds, scrambling lizards, all wake with the approaching night. Falling into the earth's soft embrace I see the frist star peeking out in the sky. A glimmer of hope in a land seeming to be forgotten by time twinkling to life above me. The moon as well seems closer as it shows itself in its pursuit of the sun. This desert, this bridge between earth and sky, is a delicate balance I will take in my heart forever as I journey through my waking world.
