Another week had gone by, and there had been no progress. Even the teachers were starting to get annoyed that Marion was still sitting every recess. But it’s not like they gave her a choice! She did however realize, that if she couldn’t make herself forgive her ex-friends, then perhaps she should make some new ones? But that was hard enough. Sure, she wasn’t a Geist or something so it was a bit easier to make friends with others, but she was a Hallowed Sluagh, which meant that since she was different, others were less likely to want to even get near her, let alone get to know her. Add in the fact that she was a bit of a prankster and well, it didn’t end up that well.
Right now, she was sitting in class, having to write an assignment on what they wanted to do when they grew up. She really had no idea, other than exploring the world. She knew that a Travel Agent was an option, but did she really think that Sluagh’s could do that? She supposed they could.
But for right now, there was the more pressing friends matter at hand, and she still wasn’t sure how to handle the situation. But she did write down what she was feeling. “When I grow up, I would like to be able to handle bad situations with my friends better. I’m not sure if I want a ton of friends, or just a few close friends, but I want to be able to work with them when I am hurt by them and to be able to forgive them more easily than I can now. I hope that when I’m older, that I can do so and perhaps avoid situations like the one I am in currently. I also hope to be a Travel Agent.” She finished the paper and sighed, wondering if she should write more. But the end of the class bell rang after just a few seconds and she had to turn the assignment in, wishing that she had more time to write about it.
