โคwัฮฑknัssัs: His Big Mouth, Cocky, Book Smarts, and Guarded (meaning he has a hard time letting people in which makes some even more suspicious of him)
โคpัrsฯnฮฑlรญtั: Flynn has his own unique charm that is a result of the mixture of his flirty nature, childish qualities, troublemaker tendencies, and mysteriousness. He has a great sense of humor that allows him to joke about absolutely anything, but that doesn't mean he always should. Often it is his mouth that gets him into trouble along with his reputation for being untrustworthy. He has stolen and cheated in the past to obtain certain things and due to that he is looked down upon by many. Even so, there are those who truly like Flynn since he does do many cats of spontaneous kindness. He tends to look out for those less fortunate and help them out in anyway he can, but people don't typically see him doing those things and therefore don't recognize his good parts.
Underneath it all though, Flynn is perhaps worse than anyone could have ever imagined. Right now he is just seen as an annoyance, but if they knew the truth he's be seen as someone to fear. Flynn is very deceptive and is an excellent liar/actor. He knows hot to put on different faces and "Flynn" is just the face he has been wearing the longest. His true self is a dark prince who takes no bullsh*t from anyone. He will wipe out anyone who stands in the way of him achieving what he wants with little guilt about it. He fully enjoys manipulating others in his games and tends to think very little of other people. Flynn is truly distrusting of others and therefore would prefer to keep everyone at arms length. This is a trait that tends to shine through even when he is pretending to be someone he is not since he doesn't want to risk being betrayed or having his mission compromised.
However, one must ask could it be possible that Flynn's fake personality is actually bleeding into his actual feelings? If one plays a role for too long is it not likely that they become that role? These are things he doesn't wish to think about, but they may just impact how he develops from here.

โคะฒรญฯgrฮฑphั: Flynn Rider is actually a false identity. What people know as far as "Flynn Rider" is that he was an orphan. He claims to know absolutely nothing about his birth parents but he says he assumed that he was just their little mistake. He also says that he was bounced from foster home to foster home, some being ok, some being horrible, but never did he ever have a legit home. When he reached 18 he aged out of the system and started living out of his own from the back of a old car that was going to be turned into scrap metal but Flynn took it off the owner's hands and fixed it up enough that it could work. He made a living by working various part-time jobs, but usually he got fired pretty quickly, so he admits to having stolen in the past to get by. Eventually he took to fixing up people's cars and is now known as the local mechanic (but he also knows how to fix a bunch of other stuff so he is hired to fix roofs, walls, windows, and other stuff for people as well). The customers he currently has a pretty loyal to him, while others refuse to sue his services since it is known that Flynn has stolen from clients in the past, which resulted in some jail time.
Now with that web of lies is some truth. Flynn really did live out of an old car (which he stole) for a while and did take to stealing and working multiple jobs to get by. He actually first when to juvie when the cops caught him in the stolen car where he stayed for half a year. Since then Flynn has been arrested 2 other times but has been able to bail himself out.
The full truth to his story goes as follows...
Flynn was born Eugene Fitzherbert of the Fitzherbert crime family (often just called the Fitz Family). His family dealt mostly with weapons trafficking and were a really big name in weapons dealing on the black market. While not much is known about the Fitzherbert family (they aren't even on the radar of most police forces) their best kept secret by far is their dark magic. How the family came to obtain dark magic is unknown, but it has been the source of their success for generations. Eugene was told by his father when he was young that some say the Fitzherbert's made a deal with an extremely dark and powerful being to obtain their gifts (not the devil but some other power).
Growing up in this environment, Eugene was naturally taught to always put up a tough front. Even if he was truly scared or unsure of himself he could never let anyone know because he was taught that those kinds of feelings were a sign of weakness. Eugene's father was always very persistent in teaching Eugene lessons like this. He was often tough on Eugene but it was clear that he still had a strong love for the boy. He just believed that it wasn't wise to trust anyone in the line of work they were in, not even people you believed you could trust.
Making his childhood more complicated was the rising hostility between the Fitz Family and another mafia. This tension eventually evolved into an all out gang war that involved a lot of loss on both sides. Even so, it was clear that Eugene's family always had victory on their side due to their powers. They just preferred not to whip out the dark magic until it was absolutely necessary, and in this case it was.
Eugene continued his training in weaponry, combat, and magic while his father and other older relatives planned out an attack. Little did any of them realize that there was a rat amongst them who shared their long held secret with their enemy, along with all their future attack plans. As a result, the Fitz Family suffered from a surprise attack that no one survived... Or so the story goes.
Unknown to anyone Eugene survived the attack, but not because he cleverly escaped, because he was pitied by his instructor. You see, on the night of the attack Eugene's instructor took him away to some mountains for what he called special training. He told Eugene that they'd be in the mountains for quite some time and to ensure he was focused on getting stronger he has to leave his phone and any other connections to his everyday life behind. Figuring that this was just some really extreme training, Eugene went along with it.
Many days passed and Eugene remained oblivious to all that he had loss. To this day he feels guilty about how much fun he was having with his traitorous instructor while his family was slaughtered. It wasn't until Eugene ran into some hikers who mentioned a huge fire near where his family compound was that he suspected something was wrong. Even after hearing about the fire he didn't automatically assume his instructor was involved. He actually approached his teacher with what he had heard and suggested checking in with his family, which his instructor quickly dismissed. Now that was when things started to seem off to Eugene.
More time passed and Eugene couldn't help but notice how on guard his instructor was at all times. It was like he was constantly expecting to be attacked and Eugene couldn't understand why. He also started to behave more harshly both during and after training. This eventually lead to Eugene breaking an arm in a fight against his teacher, and that was where he drew the line. He had to get answers.
The very night his arm was broken Eugene slipped away and managed to travel back to his family's compound on his own. When he arrived the sight before him hit like a thousand bricks, causing him a heartache he had never before experienced. His family home had been burned to the ground and there was police tape everywhere. Immediately Eugene found a pay phone and tried to contact anyone in his family, but no one answered. After a little more digging he discovered that the bodies of his family were recovered and buried. As far as he knew everyone in the Fitz Family was dead.
Eugene instantly ran back to where his mentor was to tell him what was going on. Never being the brightest student, Eugene wasn't able to connect the dots right away and figure out that his mentor was involved in the killing. He just assumed that his mentor was paranoid about the gang war his family was involved in and wanted nothing more than to keep him out of it, but he was wrong. Once he shared all that he knew with his mentor the truth came out. His mentor pulled a gun on him and apologized. He said that he never wanted to hurt Eugene and that he saw him as his own son. He never gave a reason for why he suddenly turned on the Fitz Family, he only told Eugene that he was spotted visiting his family's burned home so the enemy knew he was alive. Eugene's mentor never wanted to kill him but now he had to to fulfill his part of the deal he made or he'd be killed. Then, just as his mentor was about to pull the trigger, all of Eugene's sadness and confusion turned to rage. While Eugene couldn't physically fight with one bad arm he could use magic, and so he did.
He casted a spell that turned his mentor's own shadow into a quick sand like trap that slowly devoured him up. As the man sunk lower and lower he begged Eugene to spare him, but of course his cries were ignored. Eugene watched his mentor die with an emotionless face before taking off to plan his next move.
Despite being just a teen Eugene had enough street smarts to know how to properly hide out for a while. He did some digging and was able to get connected to a guy who made fake identities named Evan Rider. After getting a whole new identity from the man Eugene killed him and decided to take on his last name as a weird and somewhat sick way of remembering the first "innocent" life he took.
As Flynn Rider, he did whatever it took to survive. You'd think with him being the son of a crime boss he'd be able to evade the police no problems, but that wasn't the case. As mentioned previously Flynn had run ins with the law a few times but only got in any serious trouble once. With each passing day Flynn learned a new lesson that he engrained in his memory to help better himself.
Now Flynn maintains this "troublemaker with a heart of gold" persona because for it it is impossible to not get into even the slightest bit of trouble. His number 1 goal in life is to take down the mafia that killed his family, and find all those who assisted them and take them out as well. In his years of searching all he knows is that there were people within the police force who were in on it and potentially a few wealthy people who the Fitzherbert family had dirt on.
