Once you finally get a proper bearing of where you are you realize a few things, firstly it's warm. Very warm and getting warmer as time wears on. The other thing you realize is that it doesn't appear that there is any direct route into the area you currently reside. Taking a gulp you decide to get a move on because if you don't get out of here sooner than later you'll likely die of dehydration or starvation.
As you wander around the giant crystals, their mass larger than your own body you spot a way through a rather tight formation of rocks. But as you begin to move through them you realize it begins to break off into two directions. The air growing warmer and warmer you need to make a decision quick.
Do you go left, where the air seems to be a little bit cooler, or do you go right where the air seems to remain the same?
A. I'm going left!
B. I'm going right!
A.
Incorrect. Your hopes for the cooler air to bring you sanctuary from the heat only brought you a fatal error. The pathway begins to decline and then suddenly it drops without warning, sending you into a downwards slope that causes you to slip and slide into the darkness of the unknown. Your bones will never be found and your journey is at an end.
B.
Correct! While you decided to take the path in which the air remains the same, it was a good choice. The pathway opens up into a smaller room that's still a wonder to behold but you realize that maybe just because it's a wonder, doesn't mean it needs to be seen by anyone.
The further you travel into the cave, you notice the air becoming heavier, damper. The warmth of it doesn't subside but the humidity is making you feel a little reassurance you're going the right way. If there is humidity there is water, right? Looking around you spot a shimmer on walls and go to check it out, all the while you're growing thirstier and thirstier. Following the glistening walls you spot another crevice between the crystals so you take it. It comes to a dead end, but there is water pooling in small depressions in the walls. Do you take a drink and take your chances or pass.
A. I'm taking a drink!
B. No thanks, I'll Pass.
A.
Correct! You earn 2 extra raffle tickets!Lucky enough it was just plain water so you drink your fill and then go back the way you came.
B.
Correct! You pass, deciding you don't want to risk it and head back the way you came.
Moving back to the main room you look around and for some reason decide to look up. Is that a ledge up there? You realize that the crystals can lead the way up there, but it looks dangerous and quite risky. There has to be another way out of this room. Growing frustrated you take a seat on the ground and take a deep breath, letting it out slowly and that's when you hear it. Moving onto your hands and knees you lower your face to look under some of the larger crystals growing from the ground and you see a tunnel. You now have two choices.
Low crawl underneath the crystals or climb up them to the ledge.
A. I'm going to crawl.
B. I'm going to climb!
A.
Correct!Despite the fact you feel a little nervous about the crawling because of how tight the space is you decide to slink forward. The way is slow going and you slowly begin to think you might have gone the wrong way but your crawling paid off! You may yet get out of here.
B.
Incorrect!Deciding to climb you find the least sketchy pathway up the crystals and began your ascent. Everything is going smoothly until you get towards the top. Reaching up to grab the ledge you realize it's covered in slick algae and you can't get a good hold, unable to get your footing you fall. Your Journey ends here.
The air continues to grow more humid but the temperature seems to be going down a bit as you continue to crawl. Though it's starting to get darker and the light that was once illuminating everywhere disappears into oblivion. Suddenly the ground you were crawling upon gives out into a slope and you're sliding downwards.
You splash into some water and find there is a current pulling you one way. Do you follow the current or swim against it?
A. Follow the Current, why waste more energy.
B. Swim against the current.
A.
Incorrect! You decide to follow the current, allowing it to pull you along. It's nice because you don't have to waste any energy fighting the current to go anywhere. Though you realize you're starting to speed up and there is a roaring sound. This doesn't sound good. You do what you can to try and swim against the current now but it's too late. You're too far down stream and your dropped over a waterfall into the watery darkness below. Your journey ends here.
B.
Correct! Kicking your legs and paddling your arms you fight against the current and swim. The darkness gives away to a dim glow and you follow it.
The light and stream open up to a large area filled with a shoreline and a small jungle? There are tropical plants of all kinds, and you're pretty sure you hear some wildlife? Was that an Oriole you just heard? A flash of yellow feathers in the trees has you curious. Interesting. Swimming to shore you do your best to dry yourself off and get a good bearing of what you've come upon. It's clear that you're still inside but somehow this colorful display of life has found a way to thrive.
As you're exploring the shoreline, uncertain of whether to go into the jungle yet or not you hear some rustling up ahead.
You ignore it for now.
As you rest for a moment you realize there is suddenly a white tiger and a golden retriever, one takes off down the shoreline and the other darts into the trees. Do you stay on the shoreline or do you finally venture into the jungle?
A. I'm going to go into the jungle after the dog!
B. I think I'm to stay on the shoreline and follow the cat!
A.
Correct+2 Raffle Tickets
Waltzing into the woods you come across a dog? It seems to be leading the way for you! So you follow it. While following it you find some fruit and decide to take some and eat it. It's quite good and gives you some much needed energy. The dog leads you through the jungle and to the other side where there is an entrance and it disappears inside. You follow it.
B.
Correct!+1 Raffle Ticket
Following after the striped feline you stay on the shore and it seems to take you to the other side of the room quickly! It's nice and you suddenly find yourself no longer wet. Looking up you see the cat but it disappears through an entrance in the wall so you follow.
Talking through the entrance you find yourself in a dim tunnel. You're really hoping that you are able to find the way out sooner than later because it's starting to get warm again and you realize you're starting to sweat, a lot. Worry begins to gnaw at you and you wonder what it could be from, aside the heat.
Continuing onward, you realize you're moving up an incline and you begin to get your hopes up that the end is near. Racing forwards you just want to get to the top and burst through into whatever is at the end of the tunnel.
You find yourself in a small cavern, glittering lights seem to surround you so you move closer to check them out but kick a rock and the lights go out. Confused you stop moving and slowly the glittering lights return and you realize then that they're glow worms. They seem to be going down one particular path though. There is another that leads to the right so now you have two choices.
A. Go down the path with the glow worms.
B. Go down the dark path.
A.
Incorrect You follow the path of the glow worms but you seem to find yourself back into the jungle, but you're thick in the midst of it. A growl to your right lets you know you're not alone and about to be someone's lunch. Your journey ends here.
B.
Correct! You go down the dark path, hoping for the best and you begin to feel a light breeze. Walking on further you start to see a light ahead and the sounds of birds and other wild life. This is it! You've made it out of the crystal cavern! Or so you think.
You seem to have one last obstacle ahead of you. The end is near, you can almost taste it! You go to take a step but trip, creating a loud noise that causes something to come crashing down from the ceiling. Looking up you realize you're not out of this in one piece just yet.
Between you and the entrance is nothing but Stalactite's hanging from the ceiling. You get two choices, run or go slow. How will you proceed.
A. Go Slow.
B. Run like the wind!
A.
Incorrect You go slow, deciding that if you take it at an easy pace you might just get out of there alright. However the noise from earlier already caused some more to come loose and they come crashing down. Your journey ends here.
B.
Correct! Racing forward you hurry across the distance towards the entrance and into freedom. Congratulations, you have made it out of the cave and are free!
