Quote: To any explorers visiting the new Reservoir, they may find that just a bit away from the sandy water are a set of caves. Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. No internet search seems to yield what they are, and if you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. What’s going on here? Glen nervously glanced back to his phone, trapped in those god awful water proof pouches he hated but knew he'd have to use if was going anywhere near water. He had invited Andy to come with him to the Destiny City Star festival, and told him to meet at the reservoir once he saw it. He was dieing to investigate it soon, and became impatient once he noticed the caves, ******** caves. He secretly loved exploring caves! But he, sadly, was aware itd be next to impossible to go by himself. His damaged eye hadnt gotten worse, but it wasnt better either. Just, barely able to see out of, and it threw his good eye severely off balance. (and no, he was not considering what this meant for the culinary arts degree now resting pretty on his wall and copied into his portfolio). He paced around, and had just remembered to change into his water shoes just as a familiar maroon haired man walked up. At least he hoped it was his maroon haired man. "Andy? Hey! Over this way!" he waved at himself.

Andy, himself, was always a nervous wreck when going out to the beach. There weren't really any bugs he could poke, or anything he could collect except shells, and even then he couldn't bring many home.. But this place, well, this was new! And he was more than a little excited to be here! Glen was here! And that made everything better, even if the sound of cave exploring was terrifying and he was much more inclined to stay on the sand than go into the darkness... So far, it proved far too hard to say no to Glen, not with that sweet smile of his... Even now, he saw the man wave to him and Andy could feel his heart simply begin to race. It would be a good day, he could already tell. "H-hello!" Not being shy around Glen was still hard, but he was getting better, and his cheeks only tinted red a tiny bit as he ran up to his boyfriend. "You weren't waiting long, were you...?

"Not at all." HJe smiled, not exactly a lie, he was just impatient honestly. Where Andy was shy, Glen knew he had to take initiative, such as taking Andy's hand in his and leading him to the cave as best he could. "You can't tell anyone of course but i love the beach, it makes me feel like i'm five again." He began excitedly as they entered the cave, flashlight clicking on right away in the hand that wasn't occupied. "And if they have a cave? I'm set for life, maybe there's a cave lake where we can fish!" He went on, not noticing that the cave didn't appear to be as dark as it first seemed where they were. "But wait, you aren't scared, are you? I mean, if you are--" He gestured to their held hands, holding them up. "We'll be fine, and if not i bought one of those kid leashes." He snickered. He really had bought one, knowing neither of them wouldn't fit it but hed thought that itd be funny and at the least they could attach it to their wrists should the situation call for it. Glen may love exploring caves, but he wasn't a fool, he'd seen enough horror movies and documentaries.

Andy was all smiles as Glen took him by the hand and chatted away. At first he hadn't noticed the flashlight... or where they were going. Part of what Glen had said went in one ear, then out the other, as he was far too focused on trying to get his still easily-flustered heart to calm down. Six months into their relationship and he still felt incredibly shy. Finally the word 'cave' registered in his mind, and he froze up, stopping their trek forward. "W-wait... Wait, Glen we-we're going in there? Are you sure...? It's dark and... Bad things happen in dark places... I.. I mean, yes I'm scared but if you really, really want to go... I don't think I'd mind it if you put the leash on me..."

Glen looked worried and confused. 'Yeah? I mean, it'll be okay? Also no, no, that thing might as well be just a tether connecting our hands, it fits like, five year olds." His eyes lit up, he had an idea. "I can do that actually!" So, taking the leash in hand he wrapped first andys wrist, and then his own, on opposite ends. He looked up at his boyfriend, smiling. "Will this be okay? We won't get seperated this way."
