O R I G I N S
The Stolk Hybrids originated from Magnus Werewolves that had settled down in Germany. They migrated to the New World as it was discovered three-hundred and some odd years ago. As they moved across the new continent they would take in blood that would make their next generation stronger. Sometimes this meant taking the breeding partners they needed by force. Other times this meant adopted in the strength that the pack needed. Any child who was not an improvement on the last generation or whom came out deformed was (and still is) killed.

S P E C I E S Physical Characteristics____________________ As they hail from Germany and have selectively breed strength into their entire pack, Stolk Hybrids tend to be fairer of skin uniformly and have moderate to larger builds while in human form. There are no physical deformities in their population due to culling practices.
Human form females range from 5'5" to 5'8" on average. Human form males range from 5'8" to 6'5" on average.
Due to the selective breeding with smaller species, the Stolk Hybrids have lost some of the original Magnus Wolves' size while in Wolf form. Their Human form size directly correlates with their Wolf size. Females still tend to be larger than males in that their scaling isn't as evenly distributed as a Male's. They measure from the smallest of 3' to the largest of 5' shoulder to paw.
Physical Abilities__________________________
Strength: Full human form males can usually lift around 300 to 400 pounds on average, depending on their muscle mass. Dead lift is in the range of 700 pounds. In their partially shifted state this goes up to lifting around 800 to 1000 pounds and deadlifts of up to 1000 pounds. Their wolf forms can lift up to 1,500 pounds; deadlift not tested due to lack of dexterity. Full human form females can usually lift between 200 to 300 pounds, depending on muscle mass; 600 deadlift. Partially transformed females can lift 600 to 800 pounds with a deadlift of 1000 being recorded under pressure. Their wolf form can lift up to 1,500 pounds with untested deadlifts due to lack of dexterity.
Speed: 40 Miles per Hour max in human form. 60 miles per hour as a Wolf. On average, Females tend to be faster than males regardless of form.
Senses: While in human form they have advanced senses. This includes hearing, sense of smell, and eyesight. However, it is not at potent as a real wolf; roughly half the capabilities. Their senses sensitivity go up while in Wolf form.
Durability: They can withstand their own running speeds as well as lift limits. On top of that, Stolk Hybrids are able to withstand jumping down from three story buildings with mild irritation. Their skin is thicker than a regular humans but it is not impenetrable.
Stamina: They are able to perform at max physical limits for an hour at a time without rest. They can run up to 100 miles per day on average within the span of six hours before near debilitating exhaustion sets in.
Temperature Tolerance: In human form they can survive between 0 degrees and 100 degrees - past 100 degrees fahrenheit and they risk heat exhaustion or stroke. In wolf form they can survive between -40 degrees up to 85 degrees. They risk heat stroke if they push it foo long in or too far beyond 85 degrees.
Regeneration: Alphas regenerate three times as fast compared to other werewolf packmates. Female werewolves tend to regenerate faster than their male counterparts. Examples of their speed is that a shallow cut will heal within five minutes. A muscle deep cut may take an hour. A cut to the bone may take a couple hours to heal. A broken bone will be healed within a day.
Metabolic Rate: On average, even an inactive werewolf needs twice the amount of calories as their human counterpart. A healthy diet for an adult werewolf is in the range of 3,000 to 5,000 calories per day depending on exercise levels.
Lifespan________________________________ Stolk Hybrids have not yet died of old age. Once they've reach prime physical age they're aging is very slow; injury is what causes them to age faster than their normal. They usually die in a fight protecting what is theirs before they are 80 years old.
They reach sexual maturity late in life - around twenty years old. This is when females become truly fertile. They have lesser heats with lesser fertility from around the age of fifteen or sixteen until full maturity has developed.
It is expected that they will live as long as their Magnus Origins. However, that has not been tested for 300 years.
Communication___________________________ In human form, they communicate like any other human. However, as they do not have a human voice box while in wolf form they can no longer form words then. Their Magnus ancestors could speak telepathically in fully constructed sentences but after breeding in multiple lines to adapt, the Stolk hybrids have lost some of that capability. While in world form Stolk hybrids are able to communicate with other receptive wolves through an empathic telepathic link. They can project emotions and concepts which sometimes are felt and understood as one or two word-concepts more than fully realized sentences. They communicate through that, scents, and body language. Of course they can communicate through vocalizations such as growls just the same as any other wolf but these sounds are reserved mainly for negative situations.
Other Breeding Results____________________- It has been 10 Generations to the current since they migrated from Germany. The results from the original Magnus lines show. Stolks Hybrids are more adapted to the climate, though prefer northern climates due to thick fur while in Wolf form. Hotter climates become uncomfortable around the 80 Fahrenheit while in Human form. It becomes dangerous for them around the 100 Fahrenheit as they will overheat easily.
They have bred in an immunity to infertility that had started to plague earlier generations. They breed in an immunity to mind tampering drugs or magics.
They do have a power hierarchy now that Magnus wolves did not possess but have become more lax on rigid social structure. Alphas have the ability to bite a non-werewolf species and turn them into a werewolf when they are in full wolf form only. They have a 20% chance of turning and an 80% chance of dying. It is though that only those with the most potential, the most inner strength, live through the process.
While they lost the beast forms of their Magnus ancestors, Stolk Hybrids are able to partially shift. They can use their claws and fangs while in human form. They can also use their wolf-eyes (denoted by glowing or color transitioned iris) as well. When all of these are combined, their cranial ridge becomes more produced, their nasal bridge levels out, and their fangs grow in size. This allows them access to a little more speed, strength, heightened senses and maneuverability than their normal human form.
They are also able to isolate body parts to go through a partial shift. That is to say they can parts of their wolf form while remaining mostly human. Though it brings them pain, for those that are practiced they can partially shift their arms or legs; useful for getting out of being tied up. But the later is harder to control.

They have Alphas and packmembers. Currently the Stolk bloodline has two Alphas. Alphas have an extra spark inside of them which allows them to govern over their packmembers. They can only be Alphas if they have a pack; if they lose their pack they slowly lose that spark which makes them an Alpha. Alpha Stolks can be identified by their Red eyes when in Wolf form, or when they are giving a command to their packmates.
An Alpha roar can stop their Packmates from attacking or moving, regardless of the situation. The roar can force shift a werewolf packmate into their Wolf form. The Roar can also force stop a shift from happening. That is the only control an Alpha's power gives them over their packmates.
Packmates can be children, Stolk blood, or Adopted in strength. Packmates are treated based on their merit and the hierarchy is more fluid and adaptable than their Magnus kin. If they have not proven themselves mentally, emotionally, and physically strong enough to deserve to breed they are not allowed to do so. Only their werewolf packmates may mate with eachother; nonwerewolf species are disallowed from breeding into their werewolf line.
It is not unheard of for the Stolks to adopt in other creatures as long as it's deemed appropriate by the alphas and has the acceptance of the pack. However, if the other creature (human or otherwise) proves itself disloyal or mentally unstable they will kill them.
In general, females take more of a leadership position. Males tend to do more of the physical labor and defer to their older female nearby when decisions need to be made.

C U L T U R EAlpha Status: There are two alphas in the Stolk pack and they are not a mated pair. This is done to avoid bias decisions when offspring come into play. The status of Alpha is both passed on and earned at the same time. Children of the Alpha are prime candidates for the Alpha to pass on their spark to, however if they prove incompetent then they will not earn the rank of Alpha. Candidates have to prove that they are physically, mentally, and emotionally ready to be the next Alpha before the transition takes place. The only way for the Alpha power to be transferred is through death.
Mating: Mating is understood as sex with the purpose or intention to have children. Packmembers are restricted from mating without permission from an Alpha. This is to help keep the population in control. Sexual activities, however, are not restricted for adult members of the pack so long as reproduction does not take place. See more in the Breeding section
Hunting: In their Territory, the Stolks have a quarterly hunt. They allow two large hunting animals to be brought down but pack members are welcome to hunt and kill one small prey if they so wish. Juveniles or pregnant females are considered bad form to hunt.
Eating: An Alpha must always eat first. Once they've given leave to the other packmates to eat, then they may. To eat before the Alpha has given permission is considered a challenge of the authority of the Alpha.

B R E E D I N G They go into heat around a blue moon - that is when there are two full moons in a month. The heats are lead by the Alpha female or a female with the largest connection in her place if there is none. Her heat will trigger other female's heats. If unprotected mating occurs during this time it is guaranteed that fertilization will occur. However, Stolks have minor heats around every full moon where females will be more lust driven than normal. Pregnancies are not guaranteed at this time; just 25% more likely to be impregnated.
Humans males are unable to get Stolk females pregnant but Stolk males can impregnate females with of deadly results.
Gestation takes 28 weeks for full gestation. Females are still able to shift into their Wolf form at will up to 18 weeks into their pregnancy. Once they only have 10 weeks to go a female has to choose if she wants to give birth in Human form or in Wolf form; it is custom to give birth in Wolf form as that's believed to produce stronger offspring.
If a child, for whatever reason, is born with a defect it is culled. Weak genetics are not allowed into the Stolk bloodline. They only take in what will make them stronger. If a Sire or Dame has proven that they can not produce strong offspring after their 3rd child...they are disallowed from reproductive activities with any species, Stolk or otherwise.
