It was a beautiful summer night. Well, almost summer. Close enough to summer. Regardless, Periclase sat atop a building, letting her legs swing over the side, holding on to the safety bar and quietly folding a small square of paper. She knew that this was most likely not the right use for her fancy subspace pocket, but she didn’t really care at the moment, and laughed as she folded the bright pink square into a small star.
Peri had a pile of these stars beside her now and looked at the colorful bits of paper, scooping them into her hands and tossing them into the air when there was a sudden breeze. There. Now the city…or the street below would have a nice bunch of shooting stars. Kind of.
Of course, it was that moment that she felt the presence of what felt like a senshi…though it felt…weaker than she was. Not by much, but enough that it was noticeable. What an odd thing. She felt…rather powerful if she were being honest.
Hopefully whoever it was would seek her out, because as good as she felt…she was feeling a little lazy too…and it was comfortable up here.
And her stars looked pretty, scattered all over the ground like that.

Ara was out on patrol wandering down the city streets when she felt a dark aura. It felt like a senshi but a wrong senshi. She followed the aura to its source ontop of a building.
She noticed a bunch of paper stars at her feet and while they were pretty she frowned, what careless person just dropped them here. She quickly gathered all the stars into her hands. She then proceeded to jump up the building.
"Hey its wrong to litter even if you're littering pretty origami." She admonished the lady she found on the roof. "You should be more considerate of other people."

Periclase paused and glanced up as a kid…a literal child leapt onto the building and began reproaching her for littering. For a moment, the corrupt didn’t know if she wanted to laugh or just squish the small creature.
She was cute, at the very least. Though her outfit looked as though she had been let loose in some fancy jewelry box…it was so busy.
“It’s not really littering. I’m only making shooting stars. What’s so bad about that? And look at you.” Peri nodded at the girl. “Perhaps they were just a gift for you. For whoever went and found them. Did you think of that?”
Quietly, the corrupt moved so her legs were no longer dangling over the edge of the building and faced the young girl. “…What are you, anyway? There’s no way that you’re a senshi, right? You’re like…six.”
Or somewhere in that age area. She was young, that much was obvious. But…she did feel like a senshi, and that kind of worried Periclase a bit.
There was no way that the other side brought children into this…it was bad enough to lose people who were older but…a child?

"You can't just do that in public space. Like I said you need to be considerate of other people." She argued back. "Someone has to clean them up." Setting the paper down in a neat pile. "If you want to thrown around stars you should do it in a private place like your house."
Her next comment made Ara go red. "Six! I'm eleven so shut up." She huffed with annoyed look on her face. She was nearly a gown up, she was almost in middle school for crying out loud.
"And I am definitely a senshi, I'm the senshi of illumination. Plus I'm a rank higher than you. I'm a super senshi." She bragged. "I'm more of a senshi than you, at least I'm not corrupted by chaos." She fired back annoyed at being talked down to.

It took all of Peri’s self control not to mock the child. She hadn’t thought that she disliked children…but she was realizing now that she disliked when they preached at her. “Oh, oh wow, Eleven, hm?” Even with all of her self control, the corrupt couldn’t keep the mockery out of her voice.
“A rank higher than me? Really? You don’t even feel as strong as I am, so if you’re a rank higher, you must be doing something wrong, little eleven year old senshi of illumination.”
She stood then, getting the dust and gravel off of her as she did so and tilted her head watching the girl. “Look though. Seriously. You’re acting like you’re all that and two pieces of cake, but…do you really think you are? I’m not corrupted by chaos, I thrive on it. I like this path. It suits me. Who are you to judge, little girl?”
It wouldn’t take much effort to just pick the child up and toss her over the edge of the building like one of the paper stars but…
…Maybe that wouldn’t be the best route.

Ara's eye twitched in anger. She wasn't a baby and she wasn't stupid, she knew when she was being mocked. She really didn't like this woman.
"Well you must just be really bad at sensing power because its pretty blatant to me how much weaker you are than me. But hey I'm sure you'll get to this level some day." She bragged with a mocking shrug of her shoulders.
"Ha!" She laughed at the woman. "You have a hole in your head and chest, you think that's thriving?" Really she could believe a dark mirror was thriving in chaos but a corrupted, they looked like they weren't even human anymore.
A part of her knew she should just walk away but a more childish part of her wanted to teach this lady a lesson.
"I'll show you who I am."She said with a smirk as she held her hand in front of her. "Ara Luminescent Starshine!" She called out as a mote of light formed in her palm and fired at the corrupt senshi's face.Quote: Ara Luminescent Starshine Ara holds her hand up and a mote of light forms in her palm before firing outwards towards her opponent. The blast of light can knock an opponent back and can make their skin feel like it was burned (however as a chibi it does not do any real damage)

It was amusing how this girl who seemed so insistent that she wasn’t a child reacted just like one. “Your eye’s twitching little one. That’ll lead to wrinkles sooner than you’d like I’m sure.”
Good grief. This girl was as annoying as the redheaded senshi had been sweet.
And then the child attacked her, and as the ball of light hit her, she stumbled back and felt as though she had a rather nasty sunburn on her face, hissing softly. “Wow. So that’s all you got kid? A little ball of light?”
Peri wouldn’t let her know that she hated sunburn. Hated the prickly feeling and the tight way the skin felt afterwards. But, she couldn’t let a little thing like this get her down and she laughed. “What a cute little try though. Let me give you a little Hemlock’s Kiss in return.” She held her hand to her lips and blew her own magic at the chibi, an amused smile on her face.
Her magic was cruel, and she knew it. She always enjoyed watching as people fell victim to it.Aurelius0815 Hemlock’s Kiss Periclase puts a hand to her lips and blows a kiss, which takes the shape of three bunches of hemlock flowers, if hit with one of the bunches of flowers, an opponent will experience mild effects of hemlock poisoning, including dizziness and trembling. The effects last for twenty five seconds and the attack can be used twice, hitting up to a total of six opponents. If the bunches do not find a target within ten seconds, they dissipate and the attack is wasted. At most the bunches can travel ten feet away from Periclase.

Ara wasn't sure what Hemlock was but she was pretty sure she didn't want to find out. She dodged two of the flowers but the third managed to hit its mark.
She dropped to her knees her throat closing up as she struggled to find air. Her world seemed to be spinning as her small body trembled from the poison. This magic was evil.
Still even as she fought for air she wasn't going to let this lady get the last laugh, she was super senshi and that had to count for something. She struggled to her feet and charged at the older woman.
As she got closer she choked out "Infinite Light Parade." Six motes of light appeared behind her and fired at the corrupt senshi as Ara dove at her.Quote: Six motes of light appear in the air behind Ara and fire toward her opponent(s). The blasts of light knocks an opponent back and blinds them and can at the other player's discretion leave a cut and burn where the light hits them (As a chibi the cut and the burn are minor).

Oh how she did love her magic.
There was a smug smile on Periclase’s face as she watched the child get hit with one of her bunches, and for a moment she thought it was all over. Hoped it would be all over. Perhaps…
Perhaps she would even be ready to take a starseed now. It had been enough time. Mostly.
Kind of.
For a moment, she got distracted wondering if she really was ready, and then she decided that there was no time like the present to start, when she got hit in the chest with another one of the dumb child’s attacks.
As lights danced in front of her eyes, Peri decided that enough was enough, and that yes she was more than ready to remove starseeds again…and even if she hadn’t been. This child needed a lesson in manners. Blindly, the corrupt reached out, fully intending to reach in and remove the small little crystal that resided in the girl’s chest, but her hands reached only a fistful of her hair.
Well.
Well indeed. There was more than one way to do what she needed to do. With a snort of anger, she reached out her other hand and grabbed the chibi’s arm, using both arm and hair to clumsily toss the senshi over the barricade and right off of the roof.
“Be glad it wasn’t your starseed, you stupid…child.” She called, rubbing her eyes and looking around, not quite having realized where she threw the girl. Finally some sense came into Peri’s eyes and she felt her mouth go dry. “Aw…s**t.”
…There was no way in hell she was going to look over to see if the dumb thing had gone splat…
What the hell was she going to tell Lori? Hey guess what I just yeeted a kid off of a rooftop? She took a moment and then hurried to the other side of the roof, jumping down.
There was no way in hell she was going to stick around for the cops to come. Good lord.
She had done murder…and it hadn’t’ even been her plan.
…Though she supposed if she had starseeded the girl that would have been murder too but…
…There was no time to think about that right then and there…

Ara felt her self leave the ground and she went off the roof. She hit a pile of trash with a thud. She groaned not so much from pain but from embarrassment. She quickly popped up to her feet and looked around for the corrupted senshi to continue the fight. But she saw her retreating into the night.
"Hey get back here I'm not done fighting! You chicken!" She screamed after the girl but she was already gone.
"Pfft stupid old hag." Ara said in annoyance as she kicked over a trash can out of frustration. She decided to take off there was no point in sticking around when the other senshi was gone.
