They were supposed to be writing an essay on maturity, or well how one thought they had matured from their freshling years as a homework assignment. He thought it would be a piece of cake, but sitting here now he wondered really if it was. Sure Huginn had always been a serious kid. He was the one that sat quietly in the library and read instead of running outside and agitating the nezubats. He was the one that always helped with the groceries, or was there to lend a hand to whoever needed it.

So the better question was what was maturity? What defined how a person Matured. Was it how the body grew older? How they handled responsibility. Well Huginn thought he handled it pretty well. He made sure to listen to his younger siblings and older siblings when they needed an ear. They made sure they were safe especially when Huginn was the oldest of the siblings present. Helped guide them if he knew the answer….

Things he already always did. He kind of felt like the same as he did when he was a kid, looking after others and offering an ear when needed. In fact lately he had been trying to learn not to be so coiled up. To try to get more friends and find a more fun way to live life, well to live life without skirting responsibilities. However was that really enough to write a good enough essay? Maybe he could talk with his mom when she got home or his dad. They would have a better grasp on the question right? For now he would just figure out a way to structure his thoughts on the topic better.
