Vosin finished tightening the last of her straps and moved to swing into her saddle with a practiced fluid motion. Her lips twitched with a thought that she passed onto her gold, we've been doing this a lot. Well of course. There needs to be enough candidate options for my clutch. The gold had a point of pride that she could pick candidates for her own clutches.

Killakeeth didn't launch so much as lumber into the air. Where should we go this time Vosin? Hmmmm, I don't want to pick the local areas clean. We've been searching a lot around Western. Let's go somewhere up north for a change. A place with a lot of kids? The gold ask slyly. Right. Harper hall it is.

The pair vanished from Western Weyr to appear above Harper Hall. If not, we could always try the Healer Hall too. It couldn't hurt to have more healers on hand. Vosin commented, eyeing the two building so close together, yet far apart. It wasn't like she was expecting the clutch to be ferocious or anything. Accidents happened, and so did Thread.

Killakeeth spread her wide wings to circle over the hold. Even up here, Vosin could hear the cacophony that typically filled the hold. Take us in.

Kyzier hummed a melody to themselves, enjoying a rare free day. They had a lot of ambition, but someone told them to slow down and relax. It was hard, but they enjoyed nature enough that it was pleasant, if not difficult, to take a stroll. Well, it was a bit too fast to really be a stroll, but they were walking without a specific destination in mind, so it was definitely relaxing. The fact that they were humming a song they'd been learning didn't matter. They could multitask--relax while practicing!

They grinned to themselves, pleased with their efforts. The world was open--countless opportunities. Life was too short to be idle. Still, they enjoyed being outside. Maybe they should go get a snack and eat under a tree, while composing music? Either way, they paused midstep at the sound of dragon wings beating above. Kyzier raised their eyes to the sky, excitement shifting into surprise. A queen dragon? That wasn't an everyday sight for them, as much as they loved dragons. She was...big. Really big! As Killakeeth made her descent, Kyzier wasted no time, jogging over to reach the dragon's projected landing spot.

Sometimes you just had to take initiative to fulfill your dreams, you know? All it took was a bit of networking, after all. Even if they weren't able to convince the pair to let them be a candidate, they'd still be able to meet a rider, and have that rider as a good reference. Yeah, imagine knowing a RIDER!

Killakeeth came to a perfect landing in her chosen spot and primly flipped her wings against her back. She lifted her head on her thick neck to survey all those below her as the queen she was. I do believe your welcome committee has arrived, Vosin dear. Killakeeth observed the young human approaching her rather fearlessly.

Oh? Vosin slid down the extended leg. She'd expected someone, but this person was clearly more an apprentice than a master. That was fine with her really. She didn't need special attention right now. Vosin smiled. "Hello there."

Kyzier was momentarily awed by the massive queen. Killakeeth was so big. They'd never seen such a big dragon before, not this close. They shook their head, as if to clear the stars from their eyes. Then, they grinned at the pair, flipping their braid and then standing solidly, both hands on hips.

"Hello, Miss Dragon, Miss Dragonrider, Ma'am." Their eyes kept flicking towards Killakeeth, awed by the stunning beauty and glory that was a BIG dragon. Oh, how they longed to go for a flight on that dragon! Maybe someday, they thought to themselves, as they offered a sweeping bow to the pair. Unnecessary and a bit silly, maybe, but they were all about those first impressions. They led to (hopefully) a true Impression.

"I'm Kyzier, and it's a pleasure to meet you." They'd have to make an extra effort to remember these names. It was VITAL that they remember these names. After all, networking made the world go 'round...or at least got people into high places.

Vosin waited calmly. Some people could be quite distracted by the dragon, particularly Killakeeth. There was no sense rushing, as she saw the person's eyes darting back and forth between them. She smiled at the bow. "I'm Vosin and my dragon is Killakeeth."

"A pleasure to meet you Kyzier. I'm not really here on....." She paused for a moment to glance up at Killakeeth rumbled. Technically we Are here on weyr business Vosin. The gold told her rider firmly. It's just not business the Masters need to bother themselves with.

Vosin smiled and nodded. "Sorry about that," she said turning back to the.... Vosin wasn't sure if whom she was speaking to was a male or female. "We're here on some business, but I don't really want to disturb the masters. Might you be free to escort me?"
