Kami stretched a couple more times while he waited for the other Senshi to get to their meeting spot. It had been a while sine he had sparred with any other Senshi. Though at this point he couldn't remember if he had sparred with any at all, which is why he had sent out a message through their phones to see if anyone was willing to fight a bit, just to keep his skills sharp. Sure, he had gone up against that corrupt Senshi recently, but that was the newest battle in... three months?
Far too long to have gone without. And the fact that he had been neglecting his self-defense classes made him feel just a bit more vulnerable and wanting to sharpen his skills once again.
He was early though, and the other Senshi, Nix he believed, wasn't late yet, so all he could do was wait around and stretch or practice a bit before the other came.
Soon enough he felt the aura of another super Senshi within the area, and Kami hoped that it was his sparring partner. And if it wasn't, then perhaps he could meet yet another Senshi. After all, in a war such as this, the more allies that one knew, the better.

It didn't happen often, but Nix was a bit late to a planned training meetup! He had been a bit caught up in watching a show and forgot until it was over--but that's okay. He usually ended up early and sat around, so turning up 5 minutes late to most people wouldn't be all that long of a delay.
So, as he approached, he felt the energy of someone already there, which caused him to hurry along, so moments later he was there, and cheerfully waved a green hand to Takamizawa. "Hey here!" he called out, grinning. "Ready to get started?" He rocked from foot to foot, a sort of bouncy, stretching motion.

Kami jumped a bit when he finally felt the aura of the other. It felt like it had been forever! But Kami knew it had only been minutes. Still though, why couldn't life feel like forever instead of rushing by?
Sheesh, he was thinking like an old man already!
The first thing that caught his attention when the other Senshi was visible were Nix's boots. They clearly looked like the feet of... something. Frogs maybe? He wasn't sure, though he knew he would probably find out soon. The other seemed excited though, and introductions seemed unnecessary now.
Kami got into a defensive stance at this point, figuring that the other was wanting to attack more. "Ready when you are." He said, making sure to keep an eye on the other's movements. At least when he was battling a fellow Senshi they couldn't teleport.

Nix's grin got bigger at the reaction, and he shifted to a fighting stance too. "Great!" he declared. "I'm Nix, by the way," he offered, shifting to the side a bit. "But I guess you knew that!"
"Nice mask," he observed, face getting more serious. "Good for hiding your expression...less chance for people to," he paused and the grin returned, "think fast!" he called out more loudly, and then stuck out his tongue, causing a large, ethereal one to shoot out straight at Kami's gut, giving only a small opportunity to dodge out of the way.
Big Tongue, sticky grab
Nix mimes the action of using his tongue, creating a large ethereal frog tongue. This tongue can either shoot a straight line 15 feet away striking with the force of a hard punch which can leave a bruise if the target player desires, or take the form of a large licking tongue which can make contact with something not more than 2 feet away. In both cases, Nix may choose to have the tongue be either sticky or poisonous. If it is sticky, the strength of his tongue is such that whatever he grabs, the smaller of the two objects (Nix and his target) will get pulled as his tongue retracts. If it is poisonous and hits an organic target they will suffer the effects of rapid poisoning (which can include dizziness, fatigue, nausea and vomiting) for thirty seconds.
As soon as the tongue is retracted, it disappears. The tongue may be used three more times.

Kami barely had time to dodge the disgusting ethereal tongue, something he wasn't expecting, but did confirm his suspicions that the other Super was a Senshi of Frogs. At least, he thought chameleons would have had a different power.
Kami tried to move away, but he swung his right arm too slowly and the tongue caught onto it. Kami felt himself being pulled forward by the other and figured there were a couple of things he could do, if he was going to be dragged back to the other, and most likely punched or something.
"Nice magic!" Kami said, before yelling, "Surgeon's Slice!" At the other, using his not caught hand. He hoped that it had taken effect as when he was done with it, used the momentum of the tongue to jump a bit and aim his foot at the other as the tongue continued to pull.
Surgeon's Slice Focusing on a target, Kami makes a slicing motion with his hand as if holding a scalpel. Down the middle of the of the target's chest a thin line appears and it feels as if they are being cut open for surgery. Feels like getting cut by a knife. It lasts for 35 seconds and can be used on two targets, with only 2 uses. The player can choose a pain amount, between a scale of 1-10, between 5-7 on the scale (only the sensation of pain! They don't actually get cut!).

Nix felt the thrill of success as Kami was yanked toward him, and he got ready to land a hit when suddenly... pain. He gasped, taken entirely off-guard by it, and put a hand to his chest where he could swear he was being sliced open...
...but nothing was there. No blood. His bodysuit was still whole (and he wasn't completely sure blood would go through it, but surely he'd feel something)...it was just an illusion. But it was more than enough to throw him off completely for the moment it took to sling Kami right back to him to land a hit.
The tongue dissippated, and Nix staggered back, a hand still over the phantom pain spot. "Oh boy," he breathed. "That's rough." He blinked a few times as it started to fade. "Hell of a distraction tactic, that's for sure."
Even as the pain still remained, Nix resumed a fighting sort of stance. "Nice one!"

Kami jumped back, trying to stay out of reach of the phantom tongue. "Yeah. The tongue attack is interesting too." Well, that and kind of disgusting. But it's not like they got to choose their attacks!
They were now where they were before, and one of them had to make the first move. Since Nix had been so kind to do it last time, Kami decided that he would do it this time. When he got close, he knew that Nix's attack would be able to get him easily, and he wondered if he could take advantage of it.
He should do something though in case they both just stared at each other forever, so Kami ran towards Nix, as though he were about to hit him, and then did a quick dodge to the left and stuck his leg out, trying to kick the other Super.

Nix just grinned back with his real tongue visible for a moment, before he put on a more serious face, waiting for an opening. He wasn't gonna wait long, but it turned out he didn't need to.
Kami came at him, and Nix dodged...to the right. Which turned out to be either just the right thing or just the wrong thing, as they were right on top of one another. It was happenstance that he foiled the dodge-and-trip attempt, but he grinned like it was intentional, and shifted slightly to shoulder check Kami in reply. Just a nice twist and lunge.
Bam.

Kami was glad he had his mask on. His opponent was being a bit gross with all of this tongue stuff, and the mask hid the face of disgust that Kami made. It seemed that the other was predicting Kami's movements however as he ducked to the right and shoulder checked him.
It threw Kami off balance and he started to fall. It was at this point he could do two things. One, try to grab his opponent to either drag the other down with him or keep him upright. Or two, fall, roll out of the way and try to get out of the other's distance. Even if he was brought right back with that tongue, at least he would have some time to react, right?
Kami decided to do the latter and twisted himself so that he fell in a roll, and as soon as he had rolled once, he got back up and went as fast as he could to face his opponent once again.
