Upon trying to move, to sit up more, the man found that his hands were bound though his mouth was not. With some difficulty he shifted, hazel gaze flicking across the room to take in his surroundings.
It was night, based upon the darkness he could see from the unfinished window and the entryway where a door was presumed to sit once construction was complete.
Sitting in the center of the room was a white cat, star visible on it's forehead, and it blinked at the pair in the room.
