Hey, do you guys know of some good science-y items that aren't strictly high-tech future chrome kinda look? More like magic meets science, if that makes sense? Or even some more kind of steam-punk sort of looking items?
If the items have recolors in any shade of blue - especially navy or breezy - that would be amazing, but either way I'm still looking for any suggestions!

I gave a listing of some Star Wars items in another thread -- pop over HERE
AND I noticed on the Gaia BULLETIN BOARD a new set of Sci-Fi items on the Gaia homepage.
I'm sure this will get you started on your science-y avatar adventure!

Sweet-Heaven-eyes Well the steampunk is my cup of tea. I could think that might work. Well I think you could go basic or overtop of the steampunk. Well my suggustions go with brown,tan,brass,copper,gold or turiquse. Oh, yeah, steam punk is really lovely. But I was just sort of using that as an example sweatdrop . It's kind of hard to explain exactly what I'm going for... See, The avatars I make are always for one of 4 characters I made up, and one of them is Seraphina. She usually looks something like this - She's always a blue color scheme (mainly navy and breezy, but I use some other ones, too), with maybe some hints of black/white and gold, and the look I'm really trying to go for is a mix between magic and technology/science, which is harder to find good items for. So yeah, those colors are great for steam punk, really pretty! But I'm looking for blue "science" items that would pair well with magic, but not look aggressive? Like, there's a lot of cool sci-fi items out there, but the only ones I know of all have a "rough" sort of edge to them, like more "I'm gonna fight you" than "I'm gonna study." And the few more academic looking ones that I know of either don't have blue or monochrome recolors, or just don't fit at all with magic stuff... lol, like I said, it's hard to explain. gonk
