 The tournament is taking place in the Castle in Negaspace, in a large room that has been designated towards the event. It is very spacious and there is a ring where the participants will fight, as well as seats around it for viewers. You are greeted by General Aurostibite and General Xenotime standing off to the side to monitor
The rules are simple: fight your opponent using whatever methods you have available to you - physical strength or magic - and whoever is left standing at the end is the winner! Aurostibite adds, in a tone of voice that doesn't quite indicate whether he's joking or not, to please try not to kill anyone.Quote: OOC RULES:
- Battles must be completed within 72 hours. If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.

There will be 2d20 rolled in each intro post. The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person the higher HP at the end of the battle (or the one that does not reach 0) is the winner! Quote: DEFENSIVE / HEALING MAGIC
For healing magic: roll 1d4 (first stage), 1d6 (second stage), 1d8 (third stage); whatever number you roll is how much HP you gain back. This takes the place of your attack roll for your turn.
For defensive magic it must be rolled PRIOR to the next attack. Roll the same dice as above, and subtract that amount from the damage done by your opponent.
i.e. :
- Person A rolls a 6 instead of rolling for an attack
- Person B attacks with 7 damage
- Person A receives 1 damage (7-6) xGrymoire Lalande will be going first!

HP: 20Lalanda almost hadn't entered the tournament, he knew that Tourmaline and Uvarovite wouldn't force him. But he'd sat out the year before and he was stronger now. So he'd made the choice to sign up and he was determined to stick to it. He wasn't expecting to be pared up with a half youma though. That was going to be interesting. Knowing he didn't want to burn out his attacks early he picked up a rather hefty rock out of the arena floor, tossing it up to feel the weight before grinning. "Alright kitty ..." It was easy enough to use the extra strength being a senshi got him to throw the rock at the half youma hoping they wouldn't be able to dodge it.

HP: 17 Dmg: 1 Vitriol waited on the other end of the ring, watching the other and trying to gleam maybe something about their attacks from the bright red outfit but was getting nowhere. The other senshi did not approach but instead picked up a rock from the ground, seemed to test the heft of the stone, and then gave a pitcher's throw at him.
Reaching up, the other moved to use its hand to throw it to the side. It deflected but not without hitting the meat of its palm and stinging painfully. Shaking its hand, it moved in and went to give a testing swipe at the other with its other hand.

Of course Nubi was going to watch Vitriol's fight. She had been on patrols with him before, but they were mostly about gathering energy quotas. She hadn't really seen him fight, though she knew with those nasty claws of his he had to be pretty good at it. Or maybe it made things more awkward? Either way, she knew she didn't want to be on the other end of them. It was almost scary to think they could have been paired against each other. Luck was on her side though, and he was staring down a different Corrupt.
"The one with the claws is Vitie, the one friend Mali's managed to make." Nubi was talking to the guardian in her lap. Obie was here to spectate as well. She hadn't really seen much action, most of the time the twins ventured out on their own at night. So she had yet to meet Vit, though had been told enough about him to probably assume which one was him inside the ring.
Things were getting started though and the Senshi started off the round by tossing a rock at their cute half-youma friend. That was probably a smart move, best to avoid getting too close to those sharp claws. It was swatted away easy enough. For such a small Agent, Vit had a lot of power in those paws of his.
When he went in for his own attack Nubi cheered him on. "Rip him a new one Vitie! You've got this!" Nubi was confident the physical difference between them would give Vit the win. It would all depend on what sort of magic the red Corrupt had to play with.

Obie was tagging around with Nubi and Mali, spectating the fights that they wanted to see. It was good experience for them to watch everyone, but she understood that friends came first. It was good to know they had made friends as well. Especially Mali, he definitely needed some friends and she nodded when Nubi pointed out Vit to her. Though, it was easy to spot him based on what they had told her about him.
"He looks quite capable." It was her first time seeing a half-youma Agent. It looked like he could do some serious damage against the Corrupt. One might say he had the advantage, but magic was a tricky thing to deal with at times.

HP: 19Lalande smirked slightly as the half youma took a swipe at him, it didn't hurt too much but was enough to smart. "Nice claws, Not your scratching post though." He balanced on one leg carefully, spinning to aim a kick at his opponent. One thing he figured out was that powering up gave him a bit more of a pain tollerance and he'd never really lost his ballet balance. When the kick connected he cheered for himself in his head before trying to duck away out of range Working with Uvarovite's youma meant he was used to training with them but it also meant he knew there was no telling what sort of abilities they had. He didn't want to be too close if this one could do anything close to Pet or Kaz.

Aue came to observe the fight between two known to him, one he'd brought into the Negaverse and one belonging to his Master's favored pet. Lalande looked as c**k-sure as ever, while Vitriol still salivated for the thrill of battle without seeming to think beyond what rush of adrenaline it would give.
Sloppy, both of them. The Finn's frown deepened as he watched the first exchanges between the pair of combatants, noting how Lalande seemed to be underestimating Vitriol. Strange that he would, considering how closely he worked with Uvarovite. That one worked almost exclusively in tandem with youma, so it made little sense to Aue that the corrupt would be treating an unknown half-youma so flippantly - even in what was essentially just a demonstrative spar.
"Tch." No point in saying anything - he wasn't allowed anyway, not in a language he'd be willing to. It didn't matter that she wasn't there, she'd know. Somehow.
So Aue stood silently, arms crossed over his chest, and contemplated the ways in which his teammate and the corrupt could improve.

"Don't sell yourself short. Anything can be a scratching post if you're determined enough." It said just as sweetly back. So far the other hadn't used any attacks and it was waiting for it to use up their Ace. So far they were touch and go but far more nimble than most officers. Not like those who trained daily but beyond that in the flow of body movement that made them seem lighter. It made them quick to respond.
The hit had force and it stepped back from it as it took the blunt.
It then rose it's claws to it's lips and licked each one, running the claws over it's tongue. It had taken it a moment to work up the glands.
"You really don't have to hold back with me." It said as it moved closer and made another swipe at the other. HP: 13 Dmg: 0
