I know some things are getting overhauled, but can I suggest some time being dedicated to update all of the rule threads during the remodel? I say this with some frustration as I am trying to get back into NMA but I am finding so many things are broken or scattered.
For example, the roleplay rules do not mention the word requirement mentioned in the RP points thread. The RP points thread says that says word counts must be met for a thread to be "complete." I also cannot find where the five posts per person rule is... staff had to be consulted after a vague recollection on my behalf of such rule. Are there certain situations where each rule applies? Is it only when I want points? What counts as a finished roleplay for growths?
In a similar vein, the Solo/Intents section also has no rules. Are five posts per person still required? Does a solo need 1,000 words to be considered complete? The Breeding Intents and Breeding Roleplays threads also have no information on requirements. I just want to have some cute monster babies.
For Character Rehoming, there is no mention of any rules, but there is a 60 day wait for rehoming CYOs... that is only mentioned in the archived CYO thread. I understand if the thread is archived your CYO is probably older than 60 days, but now I am paranoid there are other hidden rules as I also have some "Owls Premium" characters.
When Redeeming Points, the RP Point Prize rules say PM Nightmare Adira for custom NMs... but then this whole form system exists to be posted (which actually says PM too but people are posting the forms)? I am just confused how I am supposed to redeem the character I want without tossing extra work at the staff.
Lastly, in the "Welcome to the Guild" thread, the Rules link is dead and goes nowhere. I am not sure where it originally pointed but this being dead led to me discovering all of the above in my desire to follow the rules.
I apologize. I am trying really hard to get back into my characters and have been met with frustrations trying to run around everywhere. I think having someone volunteer their time to make sure everything is consistent across all pages (especially pinned posts) would be really beneficial, especially to new members. heart

this is absolutely something that we're working on! making sure rules are both accessible and well-documented is a priority for the overhaul. in the meantime, i'll at least try to make sure we fix up what you've mentioned, since you put it into a nice, organized list for us :>
