Species: Cursed Human

Abilities:
> Shape Shifting Vasilisa processes the ability to morph and transform at her own will. As a result, Vasilisa's body soon learned to transform naturally on its own. However, she can only turned into real animals, not whatever she wants.

> Semi-Immortality A ability that Vasilisa learned about years into her time as a servant to the forest witch. She first noticed that she was beginning to slow in aging like a normal human and over time, she creased to age at all, appearing as a young woman for a better part of a century (She is still capable of injury, illness, and death.)

> Conjuration (via Magic) An learned ability, Vasilisa is able to summon anything in the known universe like an animal, spirit, or object thorough the incantation or magical circle required. But Vasilisa is not the almighty god at this like Baba Yaga once was.

But Vasilisa is not the almighty god at this like Baba Yaga once was and every witch knew to bring something back from the dead, another of equal value will have to die.

Personality: Vasilisa is a hedonist. She is a person who wants to live a life full of pleasure and she has always been like this. Vasilisa had been a curious and spirited child who often dream of magic, she still is. An eccentric soul of tales and wonders, Vasilisa can be a easy someone to make friends but she does have her reservation about trusting people and letting a lover in her world. on the outside, this causing her to often being mistaken as mysterious or aloof to a few. Vasilisa is also and always the stubborn and emotional type, getting really passionate about her beliefs to a point when one could say she is a pig-headed and even to the point of tears, but on the same accord, one could say that this trait can be admirable quality in a lover and a friend.

Bio: There once was a baby named Vasilisa, who was born in the warm springtime of Poland. In a seaside village to modest parentage. Her papa, a traveling merchant who would voyage across the sea to far-away places only a Slavic could only dare to imagine after a stiff drink or two. Her mama, a simple and humble home maker that would cook, clean, sew, and keep the house for her husband and new daughter. Vasilisa grew up very happy with what she had, for when her father was home after his journeys he would bring the little girl "gifts"--- a music box from Russian, hair clips from China, and a necklace from Alaska. She spent the rest of the time with her mother in the village. A sleepy and quint village with people of the same description. Every man was a fisherman. Every woman was a fisherman's daughter. Everyone knew their destiny and didn't tried to fix it. Besides, her papa because "He was a very curious man," her mama had told to Vasilisa one day. Her mama told her a lot of things, often times far more fascinating than her papa's personality even when she loved her papa dearly. Her mama would tell the little girl about the Fae. Magical creatures that lived deep within the forest that bordered their home. They can be anything you can imagine. Good or Bad. Small or Tall. Big or Skinny. All you needed to do was to believe they were real and they existed. Vasilisa would loved these stories from her mother until a very bitter and cold winter.

It had just began to snow outside, when Vasilisa's mother draw her last breath the winter of Vasilisa's nearly eight years on the planet. It was expected as her daughter and husband sat in the room with her lifeless corpse. The woman had been sick for a couple of months. However it still hurt and crying was the relief until two more summers.

After her mother's death, Papa had to still travel for his job despite both of their desires for him to stay. Naturally, Vasilisa had to begin staying with others in her village while he was away. One person who took care was her school teacher----a pretty woman with blonde hair and dimples. She was about Papa's age and had a son named Julian, who was a two years old than the pubescent girl. The woman was nice and an intellect, but awfully stuffy and a non-believer of magic or the fae who lived in the forest. "Pay attention, Vasilisa." she always told the girl at some point in her stay. However, Papa felt differently about the woman and they got married on a surpisely hot day along the shore of the village that bordered the forest. They was a new family until the autumn rolled in.

It was not that she hated her step-mother, but when her and Papa told Vasilisa and Julian that they were with child and Papa would stop his travels, the 10 year old felt anger and sadness towards this idea. Was her papa truly having another child with another, beside Mama and stop traveling? Never-less, nothing can be done and Vasilisa had to get over it. A few days after the announcement, Vasilisa was getting firewood with her step-brother behind their home. Julian was a stick of a boy. Tall and blonde like his mother. He was also an non-believer and found it his mission in life to correct his step sister's silly beliefs of an magical world beyond their own and real world. So on this day, he on a whim dared her to go find proof if the Fae existed. determined and unwavering,Vasilisa set out in the forest to find proof and wouldn't return home until spring, more than a century later.

In the forest, a young Vasilisa had walked and walked until she felt that she had indeed walked to the edge of it. She was hungry and cold by this point . Although she surprisingly and unexpectedly stumbled upon a hut in this deep. A hut that seemed to be nestled upon a pile of branches and sticks like it was a mother bird nested over her babies. Animals bones around it. The young rushed to it and looked into its single window. Empty but lights on and many cooking ingredients inside. Someone lived there. The young girl went to the back where happily she found a garden filled with vegetables and fruits to eat. Vasilisa went to eat and after fell asleep in whoever's garden. But when she awoke, she couldn't speak and her hands turned into paws. She was a wolf pup. 'Child, what has brought you here to my hut?" An woman with a long nose and the baddest of teeth asked the pup as she stood upon the outskirts of her garden. She was holding an mortar and pestle in her hand. Vasilisa's eyes wided and held a wolfy grin, realizing that the lady turned her into a wolf; she was a witch and she was a Fae! But the witch didn't shared the same excitement as she. The witch told the little girl that she almost up and killed her because she ate all her supplies for a entire winter. Hearing this, Vasilisa offered to help upon getting turned back into herself. The woman smiled and nodded at the offer, placing a curse on the little girl that she would be a loyal and obedient servant for the rest of the witches's days. Unbeknownst to the young girl that most witches are immortal beings.

And so at the age of ten, Vasilisa became a servant to Baba Yaga . The child found herself on most days cleaning or cooking her "favorite" meal for the busy witch. On most nights, she found herself sleeping on the floor under a
mall and confined nook in hut, when the witch spent some of her time brewing and creating potions. In these moments, she really missed her family---papa, step-mama, Julian, and the new baby. She wondered if they missed her. Papa would surely be searching; he would shared the whole world for her even when the hut spouted its chicken legs and ran away, deeper into the forest. When if Baba Yoga fly her mortar and pestle around the sky. Or when she was a bird, a rabbit, a wolf due to her bad behavior or with Baba Yaga

However when Vasilisa grew up into a young woman, she noticed that Baba Yaga started to treat more like an adopted daughter than a servant. There was far less punishment. When she did punished her and changed her into a beast, the witch never sent outside anymore like a bad dog, letting her watch witchcraft in person, which naturally amaze her. She started to allow her out of her sight, giving the young woman time alone---time which Vasilisa took learning how to shapeshift and witchcraft on her own. Her adopted mother never like this, for she would get scarred and busied from a spell or a fight with an beast. Maybe it was because Baba Yaga was getting older---her hair was getting white, her nose was drooping, and the wrinkles on her face while her dear daughter stopped aging a couple winter ago.

But Vasilisa didn't know the truth until she met a human at the beginning of spring 80 years later. Astrid was her name. A traveler whom got direction from a shack miles from here talking about the legend of fairies, witches, and fairy tales. Vasilisa didn't know what to do; Baba Yaga wasn't here and she hasn't seen in years. But Astrid was persistent for days, getting the girl out of the house to go for a walk and talking about the Fae. Vasilisa laughed. It had been years since she had laughed and this girl had done it. A simple walk turned into star-gazing after Baba Yaga had went to bed and other things at night . Star-gazing morphed into kissing. Kissing brought out confession, stories about her life. Astrid laughed, "How is that possible?" Vasilisa showed her, promptly making her leave back into the town. Vasilisa was alone until Celeste came back the next night with concern on her face. Baba Yaga is a forest witch that eats children and if she lets you in her debt she is planning to steal your body, explained and then gave Vasilisa the best of cuddles that night. The next day, Baba Yaga was charred on a stake and her hut re sacked, leaving a spell book and the ashes of children long dead. That was a warm spring day.

What follow what is Vasilisa can only describe as a beautiful summer. The two girls fell in love while traveling. They traveled to Russia, China, and Alaska as well as other places. Like Papa. They cuddled and looked at the moon and stars. Woke and drank coffee before sunrise. But everyone knew that autumn brought the coldest of winds. In the autumn of the next year, Astrid died of her terminal illness to leave Vasilisa to brave another bitter cold winter alone. But one day in their home, Vasilisa found Astrid's private journal and opened it. On its pages, she had written about a place that she wanted to them to go. An seaside town called Soleli. So Vasilisa had to go and see this island for herself.
