1. Fill out the form below for one of the four categories. - 1a. Seelie Queen - 1b. Seelie King - 1c. Unseelie Queen - 1d. Unseelie King 1.5. While I prefer avis made by inventory only, I understand that is not fair for everyone- you are allowed to use the avi builder if you like! - 1.5a. No, I'm not going to check whether or not you used inventory or avi builder. 2. Keep and eye on the thread for the next stage of the contest. - 2a. You may or may not make it to the next stage. - 2b. If you make it to the next stage you may enter another avi for your category fitting the next stage's requirements. 3. After the first stage is closed you cannot enter new avis unless you participated in stage one and made it to the next stage. 4. Keep your eye on the thread- every stage has a time limit, if you make it too another stage and don't enter an avi within the time limit you will be disqualified. 5. The next stage will only half half the entries of the previous stage. - 5a. This will be rounded up or down based on how many or few entries are in that category.

The Oracle is a master of the limited scope of her magic; direction. It's not a particularly broad or useful type of magic, but it's hers and suits her needs. This means that she was perfectly contented to live in her tower in her pocket dimension, surrounded by her books which record the tales of other realms. Then, a very vain wizard spread the word about her, named her an oracle because she knew who he was even though he lied about it (his stories were written in at least three volumes in her library) and from thence she has had to deal with supplicants arriving at her tower asking for advice and aid.
The power of direction can, when used correctly, be used as a kind of purification, to direct things away, including evil spirits. The Oracle is very talented at destroying undead things or things with unnatural magical forms. A wizard and witch once asked for her help in defeating a horde of magical wolves from their lands after they became wild after to the entity which controlled and created the wolves was put to rest. The horde was defeated, but the Oracle was not happy to be strong-armed into fighting slavering beasts when all she wanted was tea and books. The benefit of living alone in a tower with meals prepared for you by a red magical mechanical monkey is that you make the etiquette. Nobody else is around to see you when you're not looking fantastic, or to judge you when you pull out the old ballgown for no reason but to hear the swish.

You never wipe your shoes before you get into the transportation spell and it gets on my stone floors and then my monkey has to clean it and the monkey hates mud and what if the dog walks through the mud before the monkey can clean it- paw prints all through the tower and then I have to deal with the monkey chattering angrily. Here, I put on the heavy dress, and the sparklies, and the rich purple many sumptuary laws forbid to anybody but emperors, and the monkey did my hair while trying to stop the birds flying away with my jewellery- please be intimidated and go away?]
((The Oracle lives with a menagerie of magical mechanical animals including Faith Heart the golden dog, Nimmin the red monkey, Yalanthyr the bronze eagle, Ifylgy the green parrot, Seimati and Keilda the gold and silver horses, and also Infernus the not-quite-the-same-as-the-others steampunk dragon. No living monkeys were trained as butlers; Nimmin was created as a service monkey for an elderly dragon and likes to be busy. the Oracle is extremely antisocial and doesn't enjoy spending time with living things.))
