As was often the case, Nix was training with another senshi for a while this evening. Jumps, flips, bouncing across rooftop divides, the fun stuff, mostly. Rooftops always proved a nice place to do Senshi Things. Not a lot of people (unless he brought them there), and lots of honestly slightly terrifying drops to learn to overcome. Either way, this session had come to an end, and the other senshi departed. Nix, however, decided to hang around for a while, look at the city lights, have a drink (of water), and dangle his frog toes over the edge of a very tall building.

"So... are you the guy I heard about, offering training to people?" The voice was feminine and playful, matching the expression on the senshi that stepped out onto the rooftop and meandered closer. Hands clasped behind her back, she walked with a little bounce to her step, making the wings behind her hips and the ribbon hanging down her side flutter. Bright hair fell into equally bright eyes and she grinned with ring-studded lips. "I saw you running around with that other senshi, and thought I'd just... pop in and see what's what, you know? Always up for something new and exciting." She said, head tilting. Always with an ear out for new things Quartz might find interesting, or some other offer since the hunk with the fireflies had been MIA for a long while. The deal had been with that particular captain, but the senshi always liked to have something to bargain with if things went sour.

Nix looked at the brightly colored girl with a look of mild surprise, then he grinned and nodded. "Yup, that's me!" he replied. "I'm Nix!" He patted his chest as if to illustrate the point. "Do you wanna train with me?" The question sounded actually pretty hopeful--rather like a kid asking about presents on Christmas. He was talking to an Eternal, after all, and they were always pretty impressive no matter how much they knew what they were doing. She seemed pretty put together, at least. And that she might be fishing for information to pass along to a Negaverser was something that wouldn't even cross his mind...That anyone not crazy might willingly choose to work with them would be shocking and confusing to him, to say the least.

The rainbow senshi tilted her head, smile broadening. "Eros." She offered back as she dropped her hands and crouched down beside him, the toes of her boots crunching on rooftop grit. Propping her elbow on a knee, she dropped her chin into her hand. A wrinkle of her nose said how she felt about training, but... "I suppose it depends on the type of training. I usually find it kind of boring. What do you usually do with new people?" Innocent enough question. "Do you do this alot? Like, on the regular and stuff?" She mused as she waved the fingers of her free hand, taking in the rooftop and the other senshi. Eros's head tilted, eyes playful. "How old are you?"

"Well, yeah," he replied, nodding, "I do it a lot. With new people, it depends, really. Some people are scared of heights, or trying anything that would be obviously crazy if we weren't powered up, so I try to help with that." He rubbed his neck idly as he considered, looking off to the side. "Some people have no idea what they can possibly do with their powers, so I try to make suggestions." He shrugged, and smiled back at Eros again. "Most of the time, though, it's just having a good sparring match, or racing across town or something like that. I'm not a personal trainer, I just like to do this stuff...And I'm 16, so, you know, I learn a lot from doing all this too!"

Her magenta eyes widened. 16? That was young... not even the army let kids in before they were 18. She'd been twenty when the cat had found her. It cast him in both a very brave light, and also a terminally stupid one. He was barely out of childhood, he had the stupidity of youth. Surviving this long spoke more to his luck than anything... The thoughts flickered rapidly across her mind, but she kept her face wide-eyed. Let him think she was just surprised at his age. It wasn't wrong. "Sounds more like an informal thing." She noted. "But I'm sure you're helping people." Blind leading the blind. Children teaching childrean. This information was a lot less valuable now, in her mind... but who knew what that side might find valuable in the end. "This stuff is all ready dangerous, you know? Being out here, running around. You're going to attract attention and someone is going to come try to take you out. Why are you out here?" She lifted a finger, in case he was going to jump straight into a protest. "And I'm aware that a lot of people do it 'because its the right thing to do', but consider... what good are you to anyone if you're dead? You're taking a big risk." Eros didn't get that, herself. She wasn't going to put her neck out for some stranger she'd never met... she wasn't sure why anyone would, when the punishment could be severe?

"Yeah, it's pretty informal," Nix agreed with a nod. "I hope it helps, but, I dunno, there's only so much we can do. I wanna try setting up something more, uh, formal, though. Just wanna figure out a few things first. I figure, maybe if we're working together more regularly, we could maybe get the monsters, and some of the agents, entirely out of the town. I feel like there's enough of us..." "I know it's dangerous," he told her with some conviction. "And I mostly avoid when there's a lot of chaos energy, or really strong-feeling ones. I'm not--okay, I'm a little crazy, I know--but I'm not suicidal. And I'd rather something out there run into me than one of those little kid senshis running around." He shook his head. "I don't come out here to patrol, though I do go check on things sometimes...I come out here to train, myself and others. If I know exactly how to handle anything, I can do anything." He leaned forward, smiling a bit conspiratorially. "Have you ever been...thrown off a skyscraper?" Now, Nix knew full well that admitting something like that did not exactly help his credibility as a sane, cautious senshi, but he felt like it illustrated something. "Cuz I have."

Little kid senshi earned him a grimace and a nose wrinkle. She'd heard about, even seen a couple, of the senshi he was talking about. Not had much to do with them, though. It seemed really dangerous, and kinda horrifying for that, but they were kids... would the Negaverse really kill a child, even powered? Granted, most of them were children when you considered how many were under eighteen, but those were real children. They might arguably be safer than the rest of them, if you looked at it like that. "Hey, well, good on you for keeping an eye out for the little ones." She said, reaching out to give him a gentle, playful punch to the shoulder. "I suppose that's not so bad. The youma are scary, but not really all that powerful when it comes down to it." Eros' expression shifted and her smile turned sly, eyes watching him from their thickly-lashed corners. "I've never been thrown off anything, let alone a sky scraper. So enlighten me, 'cause now I'm curious. I know we're strong and all, but how did you not end up a froggy splat mark on the concrete?"

"Oh, I cheated a little," Nix said with a grin and a little dismissive wave of his hand. "See, my magic lets me grab stuff with a big frog tongue...and between me and what I hit, the lighter thing moves." His grin got a lot bigger. "So I can kind of Spiderman it. I think that agent thought she killed me, though I dunno if she ever went down to, ya know, check." "So, overall," he concluded. "I think I'm pretty well prepared to deal with, uh, most things." He shrugged lightly before adding, "Though, I do wanna do something to help others be better about it. I was thinking about setting up a little training camp for anyone who'd want to come. Trouble is...all those energy signals would attract lots of attention." He held up a finger and smiled. "But! There's always the moon...I'm gonna go in a few days, have a look around, see if I can set up a nice spot for a bunch of people. That'd be cool, I think! And helpful for everybody. Maybe we could start, er, working together more, too."

Eros considered that, her lips pursed as she tapped on her chin. "I've been to the moon once... There was a senshi that took a bunch of us there, after some stuff with portals to the negaverse and an alien. It was a trip... The moon is kinda nice, but its really empty. Sort of how you'd expect. Lots of white and grey rocks. Ruins of a palace or something?" She shrugged, waving a hand. "But I suppose that would make it a good place for training and stuff? Do you have a way to get there on the regular that you can share with people? Getting there would probably be the hard part." Maybe it was like getting to world and they had some sort of phone app for it. She'd never been super interested in it, and the one trip she'd taken to Eros had sort of turned her off the idea of it. The place had been a mess, and she felt lucky she hadn't come out worse for wear for her trouble. "I wish you good luck with it. Its a lot more work than I'd want to put in, but that's me." Eros laughed as she stood, brushing off her hips. "You should let me know how it turns out, yeah? Maybe I'll decide to drop in or something... who knows? I like a good party." She spun on her heel, her hands behind her back. "It was nice to meet you, Nix. Maybe I'll see you around?"

"Oh yeah, it's easy," Nix said, and popped a little pearl out of his air pocket, then displayed it to her. "The Mauvians have these things, and we can use them to go up there...as long as it's right around the full moon...so...a couple days ago." He nodded. "Thanks! It'll be a lot of work, but I think it'll be worth it...maybe we could even start getting rid of the Negaverse...at least around here." Ever confident certainly described Nix rather well. "I'll be sure to tell you about it when I've got it ready! I'll tell everybody I can, too." He gave her a big cheery wave. "Bye, Eros! See you later!"
