The Forest… she holds many secrets…
From periods of destruction to eras of peace and everything in between. She has seen many faces, healed from many wounds, and exists in a state perfect neutrality despite it all. Some secrets remain eternal mysteries, while others have steadily become the unearthed gifts for a budding new age.
...Kells was once home to a race of beings possessing great ingenuity, nearly a century ago. Clever and complex, they built their lives out of the world around them. Some created with respect to the realm while others abused the bounty, and soon the land began to wither... In the end, balance would restore itself and all the beings would come to know extinction; The ultimate price of their own greed.
But out of that loss comes the tale of our Trinket.
Having learned the trade from her mother, who was one of the first to possess an artifact of the past, Trinket has devoted her life to the procuring, and trading, of wearable rarities. She is kindly in her approach and because of that generations of crafters travel great distances to both deal with and acquire from her wares. For Trinket, as it was for her mother, there is more joy to be found in the sharing of history over the coveting of it.
But her methods of procurement are no secret, though some may argue otherwise. Having inherited alliances with the ravens, many of her shinier objects come in by way of sky. And the articles that are larger, perhaps hidden beneath the soil itself, find their way into collection through well-established relations forged by many a Dire kin. Yet some still speculate times when the very heart of Kells opens wide its veil that would separate her from her treasures, as if eager to see the wounds of its past take on new memories.
Regardless, beyond what charms are crafted straight from the berries and leaves of the woods, most items she comes across are free for any to find, gather, and distribute and yet none are as skilled a hunter of relics as she…
And... eerily enough...nearly all are likely to find her long before finding their items of adornment.

He is known as the one who rewrote destiny. The soul whom fate folded to. A small, yet mighty being of great wit, speed, and luck… His name is Sketch, the painted hare of Kells, and he is here to bring eccentricity to your life.
This would seem a rather ominous reputation for a rather ordinary looking rabbit, but rest assured that it is an appropriate one. The forests’ favor of Sketch is abundantly clear, and it has been for many moons... though the details have varied over time, those who know of him are well acquainted with his long and exciting tale. From the loss of his parents observed as a young kit, to the defiance he boldly exhibited in the face of death, to, ultimately, his discovery of the dying process… the COAT dying process… that would come to change his life forever. Rarely do individuals question Sketch, for his future gleams brighter than his past.
With but two paws and a vision: berries are plucked and mashed, flowers are pruned and crushed, and oils are rubbed free from their producers to help bring into creation vibrant paints in which Sketch gifts to the world. And seldom one to hinder another’s outlet, Sketch welcomes all to his artistic warren… with but a single condition:
The space that is held for anointing is a safe space for ALL creatures.
As it has been for quite some time, the dire wolves mingle with the squirrels, who converse with the deer all in a zone of immunity… no, creativity… allowing Sketch and his merry band of helpers to go about their liberal applications of color to the varying coat types of Kells.
So... as it has been for quite some time, if you are ever in need of excitement, a change of pace, or perhaps a quaint conversation or two, always remember the best can be found in the company Sketch, the painted hare of Kells, keeps.

The mask maker (NPC - Vendor) Location: Nomadic/Waylands OOC: He is a collector a strange masks, has had many made for himself and others, and deals them out to those who are worthy. Players can purchase custom mask art from Wise and Wise alone. ❧ ❧ ❧
Some believe he is the maker of masks.
A wolf who sprouts raccoon thumbs in order to carve and weave and assemble his pieces. Others feel certain that he merely obtains them, although the whispers insist it is through unsavory means. Regardless, no matter his sources, Wise has been a fashion icon and staple within Kells for many moons. He is most known for his charming and eclectic way, being the sort of wolf you meet once and never forget. And although his fine craftsmanship, elaborate displays, and intricate designs pale in comparison to the real work of art – himself – they are widely admired and sought after by those who are ‘in the know’. And if you’re just now hearing about him you’re already a dozen seasons too late.
