The downside, Namaka mused, of being on opposing sides was that it wasn't as if she could just call Corvus up and ask to talk. No, she needed to hunt for her and hope to get lucky. It was a damned pain in the neck, but right now, it was all she had.

Clutching her phone tightly in hand, Namaka paused every few moments to stare at the pictures she'd taken. At the moment, she needed the cycle of wonder and anger to keep her from sitting down and just crying. She'd had a sister. A sister that, she was pretty damned sure, had been Corvus' dead friend. The one she was such a ringer for.

Which also meant that she'd been kept away. Her parents knew who that Natasha Ivanovitch had been. They had to have known that Gabrielle also lived in town.

I had a sister.

Amazing thought. Infuriating thought. They'd been so close geographically and never known. Though, in fairness, the elder Ivanovitch might not have known.

But my parents did. Namaka couldn't escape that thought. And as the anger and sorrow welled up, all she could do was hope to stumble across Corvus soon. And one way or another, find out the truth. She had faith in the older senshi telling her the truth. Corvus had no reason to lie and no bullshit family drama involved in keeping the truth from her.
