Impossible is not a word Vaitaire knows. There are things that she either can or cannot do. If she can’t do it then, she’s going to find an alternate route to the goal or push herself to succeed on that road. Somethings just need a little more practice and time and Vaitaire’s quite content to devote that so long as there’s success at the end of the road.
Flaws: Childishly manipulative ||
Pouting, wide eyed and quivering lips are all Vaitaire’s means of getting her way. A side effect of growing up with a silver spoon in her mouth and never really having to struggle. What Vai wants she usually gets and if she can’t buy it or ask nicely for it then by the gods she’s going for the waterworks. Waterworks that are often times overblown and played up for maximum effect.
Loud Mouth || Vaitaire’s parents never did quite tell her to keep her mouth shut and it shows. Loudly opinionated, Vai believes she deserves to be heard and to hell with anyone that doesn’t believe that or want to hear her. Very rarely silent about her true feelings toward people, Vai’s critiques are coached in sugar but no less biting.
Fearful ||
Vai’s manipulations, especially the waterworks are born of fear. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of not being able to escape whatever mess she’s placed herself in. Yelling at Vaitaire has two outcomes, real tears and breakdowns or her screaming right back. Of course even those screams eventually taper off into straight up fleeing at the first sign of violence.
