Takamizawa hadn't really ever thought of his asteroid during the whole time that he had been a senshi. Sure, it would be interesting if his planet could become inhabitable and he could make some sort of house there to escape the winter during the months that it was supposed to come around. But other than that? It hadn't even crossed his mind.

He had finally started to think about it after the Circus fiasco, finally deciding that he needed to be more of a senshi, especially if such dangerous events were going to be a common occurrence. He hoped not, but with the Negaverse, it didn't look like they were going away anytime soon.

Still, he considered his future career a bit more important than being a senshi, so he couldn't go off on a vacation when he had to go to school. Spring Break was the best time to go on some off-world adventure but he hadn't wanted to go to his asteroid first. He wanted to see others, to see if the worlds were truly different, or if he could expect the same sort of environment everywhere. He doubted it, but he was curious.

So he had sent out the message to see if there was anyone willing to let him go with them to see their celestial object or Wonder, and had a message pretty quickly from an Eternal named Encke.

Luckily the other was able to take him during Spring Break so they would have plenty of time to wander around and for Kami to learn about the others. Currently he was waiting at their meetup point, hoping that no agents were in the area and would try to fight them.

He sighed. He was still nervous about this, as much as he hated to admit it, and the longer it took for the other to come, the more his nervousness grew.

sorry for taking so long to start that and hopefully it wasn't too confusing/awful!

Encke was always fairly willing to take someone to his comet.

Well, so long as they were on the side of Order, anyway. He had taken someone of Chaos before, but he considered that to be special circumstances, all things considered. He supposed those circumstances could occur again--and perhaps getting them to occur was a key of some things, but--

But that was irrelevant.

When he found that there was a super senshi asking around for someone to take them to space, Encke offered. He knew he could travel to space fairly often, so taking a visit away just to show someone new around wasn't exactly beating back any progress. Plus, if he could get someone interested in space further by taking someone to his comet, all the better. If someone became interested in space, and hopefully their own place in space, perhaps they would become so dedicated to it that they would transcend.

And if they were all transcendent, the Negaverse couldn't corrupt any of theirs anymore.

That was the goal, right?

Takamizawa would probably notice the strong aura of a transcendent eternal not too terribly long before Encke arrived, considering the fact that he was both fast and also a literal walking beacon. Considering both his body glowed and his outfit glowed, he was rather hard to miss, especially later in the day.

Thankfully, it seemed the presence of a transcendent eternal and a super were enough to chase off any significant chaos presence for the moment.

"Hey! I'm Encke. If that wasn't obvious." Encke offered his hand to Takamizawa once he came up to him, and a wide grin. "So, why do you want to go up to space? Have you been before?"

Encke had been right about Kami noticing his aura. It had practically zapped him like tiny shock of electricity. Kami had jumped at the feeling, looking frantically around to see if anything had happened, but realized that it was an Order aura, most likely the one that he was intending to meet up with. Still, it had given Kami quite the scare!

He did have to blink a few times when "Encke" could finally be seen. That was quite the glow! Kami had heard about transcendence and he thought he remembered meeting with at least one other, but it was still a bit of a surprise. Kami took a moment to compose himself and then shook the hand of the transcendent. He gave the other a small smile while saying, "Well, I want to go up to space because I haven't been before. Just... didn't feel any need to visit my asteroid yet. But since I've become a Super, I have wanted to actually do more than what I have been, but I wanted to visit somewhere else before going to my place, you know?" He hated being nervous. It always made him feel as though he was going to shake apart at any second. And he looked silly!

"So I just wanted to visit a few places before going to mine since I have heard that not all of them are safe. I know yours may be safe, but I just wanted to get a few different places under my belt before going." There, at leas the didn't sound as nervous that time. It was true that he wanted to go a few more places. Perhaps if he saw a bunch of different ones, then he could at least be prepared for something he couldn't even think of on his asteroid. "It's nice to meet you Encke. I'm Takamizawa, but I tend to go by Kami." He gave the other a small smirk. "Though you don't have to call me by that." After all, the other clearly had more experience than Kami did.

Encke stayed quiet, nodding when appropriate as he explained the reasons why he wanted to go. He had noticed a lot of beginning stage senshi and knights, though especially senshi, seemed to be unconcerned with space. It didn't surprise him. It still saddened him.

Perhaps if there was more of a way to encourage them...

No matter. Even if it had taken until Takamizawa was super, he was encouraged now. It was just Encke's job to make sure he stayed encouraged and actually made it to his own planet. Every senshi who started to explore their own place was another senshi that maybe could be protected from Chaos' corruption.

Encke quirked a brow when he took Takamizawa's hand. "Kami, eh?"

It sounded like he wasn't going to use Kami.

"Well, Takamizawa," Encke smirked back, before pulling his cell phone out with this other hand. "Getting to your place in space isn't very difficult. On your phone, you just press down on this button here, and then we go. Let me know when you're ready?"

Encke hadn't let go of his hand.

Kami made a slightly pouty face, but knew that not everyone was going to call him by his preferred nickname. Since Takamizawa was his full Senshi name after all. He instinctively tugged back his hand, but the other kept a firm grip on it. At first Kami thought that Encke was doing it to be a jerk, but realized that it was most likely the only way to get to the other's planet/whatever it was.

He was nervous, but at least it wasn't Kami's celestial object that they were exploring first. "I'm ready." He said, with confidence in his voice. He couldn't back out now. He had to do this, even if it wasn't his place, he still needed to visit somewhere.

The moment Takamizawa said he was ready, Encke pressed down on the button, and they were gone.

Encke let go of the other's hand at the first convenience, and took in a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air on Encke's Comet. He hadn't actually realized how much different city air smelled from unpolluted air until he had gained access to his comet. It was something he had grown to appreciate more and more over time, something that just added to his relaxation there.

He glanced up to the sky, watching as the stars moved slowly by, looking to see if he could see any asteroids particularly close by that day. One of the advantages of Encke's Comet cruising through the asteroid belt was the number of places he could see, the number of locations he could dream of -- though he was getting side-tracked. He tore his eyes from the sky, though not before getting distracted momentarily by a lightning bolt tearing across his vision from one spire to another.

Encke shifted his gaze to Takamizawa, spreading his arms out.

"So this is Encke's Comet! A once bustling society with running electricity and technology that spends most of its time in the Asteroid Belt." He grinned, lowering his arms. "Over the past several years I've been working to restore it where it is now. The paths, I've put back together, I'm actually the one who got the electricity back online too."

He glanced over towards one of the nearby homes, noticing a small patch of grass and glowing buds nearby it. Encke gestured to them, giving an almost affectionate smile.

"The comet's restored itself over time, too."

Kami had to take a moment for his brain to catch up that they had just literally teleported somewhere completely different. If teleportation would ever become a thing on Earth, he wondered if the human brain would be able to adapt to it.

He snapped out of it though when a bolt of lightning raced across the sky, and he could truly tell his brain that yes, they were no longer on Earth. He sent a questioning look Encke's way. "You put the paths back together? How did you do that?" He didn't take the eternal as a manual laborer. But looks could be deceiving.

But he did wonder at Encke's words. 'Restored'? "Restored itself? How do you restore it? I'm confused." And he hated admitting that. He liked to know things, not be questioning them! "I guess the best way to get to know the place would be a tour? Maybe you can tell me about all this restoration stuff in-between." He said, trying to focus on the fact that he was here to see the asteroid.

How did he do that?

Encke gave a goofy, lop-sided grin.

"Concrete." Naturally. "Brought some concrete up here, got down and forced the paths back together. It's hard work, but I would spend a few hours at it, go home, and by the time I could come back, it had long-since solidified."

Encke remembered the days when he could only come up there once every three weeks. It was brutal. He'd usually end up disappearing for hours on end, determined to make sure that he could get a lot of exploration and a lot of repairs accomplished in the one trip he was allowed. There had been some interesting excuses he had given Richard back in the day. Admittedly, Encke was glad he never had to consider giving those again.

He gestured for Takamizawa to follow, leading him down a path towards the central foundation. As they got closer, there was increasing patchy areas with something akin to grass, along with glowing bulbous flowers and other smaller flowers in-between.

"See the grass?" asked Encke, gesturing to it. "None of this was here when I got here. As I visited and paid Encke's Comet attention, the plant life started coming back on its own."

He nodded his head to the large marble fountain up ahead, the surrounding area full of grass, plants, places to sit, and more.

"And that water wasn't flowing, either."

Kami decided not to open his mouth in reply. The answer explained some of it, but the fact that the paths were done so well, there had to be something more to it than just brute strength and pouring. Instead, Kami followed him down the path and Kami could see that there was a lot more flora beginning to appear.

"There were no plants here? That's interesting." Kami wondered if his comet would be like that. He would hate for there to be no plants, or at least, he hoped that if he visited enough that any plants that were supposed to be there would reappear once again. "So just when you came back here, there were new things every time? Like you just left one day and came back the next and there was running water again?" It was interesting. Senshi powers must be connected to an object's life force or something. He thought to himself as he continued to follow the other senshi.

Kami did wonder at the foundation that they were going towards. He knew that Encke was the senshi of Plasma, but what did that mean for this place?

Encke nodded. "No plants. Everything had either died off or become dormant, I assume. The state of my comet hinted at dead, though."

The comet had been so much more desolate when he had first arrived. There hadn't been much of any signs of life at all, besides for the fact that the structures had existed. There had been buildings, but no light. Ground, but no grass. A fountain, but no water. When Encke had first discovered the state of things, he felt a deep sadness he hadn't quite understood.

But despite it all, he had fallen in love with the views, with the concept, with the fact that it was his place to claim in space, a place a past version of him once lived, once worked, once loved, once ruled.

And now it wasn't so desolate at all.

Encke sat on the edge of the large fountain they came up too, dipping his hand into the cool water that filled it. Every once in a while, he felt a misting from the fountain behind him, water dancing out of the sculptures.

"On some level, yes. The water thing, not so much, though." Encke quietly laughed. "The water actually started running when I brought the electricity back online. I think the processes are linked somehow." Thoughtfully, Encke added, "A lot of comets have ice in their cores or as part of their composition. It's possible this is getting pumped in from below."

He didn't think it was just possible. He thought it was more likely than not, especially considering what he had seen under the surface of the castle for the electricity. It seemed the Enckeans had done a good job of determining what they could use in their environment...

"Also, I can come back here pretty often, but that's mostly because of my transcendence and the whole eternal thing. Back when I started, I could only be here once every month or so." He scrunched his nose. "I think it was closer to three weeks. Didn't exactly have a timer."

Kami shuddered at the thought. Would his comet also be dead too? It would be such a sad sight. But if it was anything like Encke's, it should eventually come back to life, right? Kami did wonder about the electricity though. "Electricity? How did you turn that back on?" He was surprised such a thing even existed on the comet. If it was a different place, wouldn't they have been using a different type of energy?

Were their celestial objects different or similar to each other? It made Kami want to check out more. Sure, he had his own comet, but he wanted to see what others looked like too!

Kami nodded. "So you would have to plan your visits carefully if you're not eternal or an enternal transcendent." Kami said, thinking a bit to himself. "What's the difference between being plain eternal and being a transcendent senshi?" He was curious. He might go that path if it was feasible.

At the question about the electricity, Encke's eyes lit up.

"Underneath the Capital Palace," Encke motioned upwards and back towards the center of the city. At this distance, while the entire building was no longer visible, it was very easy to see the large spire at the top, a structure that in some ways resembled a large Tesla Coil, with a spherical shape towards the top. Lightning bolts gathered at the top and flew in several directions, mostly landing against other coils nearby. "There's a large metallic pole that leads all the way back up to the top, surrounded by a room full of panel computers and readings of some sort," most of which he couldn't understand, but the graphics had been quite helpful. "When I discovered it, I experienced a few memories related to the room and discovered my magic could help reactivate it. So, essentially, I electrocuted it."

His laugh was merry. "I Frankensteined it back to life."

Leave the actor to make a movie reference...

He dipped his fingers in the water once more, enjoying the way the glow of his marks reflected in the water and against the surface of the water. The pink glow was comforting, in a way. "Well, we can visit our wonder more often, for one. I think, if I had to guess, twice as often? When I was super, I could visit about once every two weeks. Noticed it became once every week or so once I transcended."

Encke took his eyes off the water.

"But that isn't all of it. I can transfer my energy to others, rejuvenating them and maybe give back what the Negaverse has taken. I have the glowing, of course. I feel more confident, more connected to my planet and my power, and, most importantly," now, his smile turned into something of a smirk, "my starseed can't be removed or touched by those of Chaos. If they try, they get blown back. Blown back two now, actually."

Kami followed the other's motion and could barely see a building with some sort of... structure at the top. Interesting... He thought to himself, wondering if his comet also required electricity. Perhaps his required something else? He suddenly felt a small pang of guilt in his stomach. He was grateful for learning about Encke's place, but he felt bad that he had no idea what his looked like. If he did, he might be able to ask questions and compare, but alas, all he could do for now was take mental notes.

Kami's eyebrows shot up when he heard what the other could do now. "So, even if you were just a regular eternal, your starseed could still be removed?" He was surprised. He would have thought that being an eternal meant that one was at the final stage. Was there more then? He knew that there was another stage after eternal, but at this point it seemed to be a dream.

"What do you do now as a transcended though? I mean besides escorting others to your comet and fighting against chaos. Is there anything else that happens?" He asked. Transcendence didn't sound that bad the way Encke was telling it. "Are there any drawbacks? What about when it comes to other senshi and Knights?" He may have blurted the last one out quickly, almost hoping that Encke wouldn't answer it. He didn't want to know, but knew he needed to if the other could figure out what Kami was talking about.

When Takamizawa implied that a future eternal level should have protected his starseed, Encke couldn't help the concerned look that crossed his face for just a moment, lips twitching downwards just slightly despite his prior smirking.

There had to be some way to spread information like that around senshi more efficiently. Seemed like an important thing to know...

"So far as I know, no stage will truly protect your starseed." He was aware he was also implying that the Royals could have their starseeds removed. Encke was not certain if that was true, but considering he had seen no proof to the contrary except for the existence of transcendence ... It seemed a reasonable assumption to make, unfortunately. "Transcendence, so far as I can tell, is the only thing that will truly protect you. I honestly recommend that everyone work towards it, if they can."

And that was the truth.

If it was the only way they could protect themselves from the Negaverse's most brutal tactics--

"What do you mean by anything else that happens?" asked Encke, withdrawing his hand from the water and shaking it off, finally. "Transcendence doesn't prompt you to have to do certain things, I think. It just gives you more to work with in our fight, gives you further protection, and gives you the further ability to help."

The drawbacks part was an interesting question that he had no real answer to. There hadn't seemed to be any drawbacks, in his opinion. Well, maybe that wasn't entirely true. It seemed like his aura was a bit more obvious, considering it seemed like he drew more attention now, but he wasn't sure that was a drawback. If anything, Encke could handle the attention... "I think my aura might draw more attention now, but I haven't heard of any other drawbacks. Not exactly a whole lot of people I could ask, though."

What did he mean by other senshi and knights?

Kami was surprised. So apparently, the only way to protect oneself in such a way was to transcend? That was a bit concerning. Kami nodded in understanding, but still looked a bit concerned. "So even if I were to become an eternal, then I still wouldn't truly be safe." How sad. Even with the most achievable stage, it was still susceptible to corruption.

"So there... are no drawbacks? I mean besides what you've said previously. No weird feelings that happen or anything? I mean if what you said is true, then I don't see any reason as to why most senshi and knights don't transcend then. I might have to try to get to it myself though... that's a bit silly right now considering I haven't even been to my comet yet." It did mean though that there was yet another reason that he needed to visit it. Nothing was keeping him from doing so other than the unknown.

"Have you done any other work on your comet Encke? I mean besides turn on the electricity and lay down some paths." Kami asked jokingly. He didn't meant it of course, but he was curious to see if there was anything else that the Eternal had done.
