Takamizawa stretched as he looked over the park that he had been patrolling in, now seated on the jungle gym dome. It was finally, finally warm enough outside during the day and not too cold at night to go out and patrol again. And having had to go through the circus thing and still having hallucinations that he was actually in a circus still popping up at times, he was ready to go and kick some Negaverse butt.

It had been a Negaverse plot the whole time. Even if the "final boss" had turned out to be an illusion of a, very disgusting, youma, the Negaverse were still in on it. They had to be. All of them. He could have sworn that he had seen some agents fighting against the youma too, but for all he knew, that could have been fake. To lure him and others who were in the Order that perhaps the Negaverse wasn't so bad.

Until he had proof that not all of them were in on it, then he had to assume that all of them were.

Tonight however had been slow, and he had just been thinking about going back to bed so that he could have a good sleep, when he suddenly felt the aura of a corrupt senshi nearby. Well, not just a corrupt, a Super Corrupt. Someone on the same level as he was...

He had to check it out. If there were any other agents in the area he would call for backup but for now, he had to chase this corrupt out of the park. He got up, stretched his back out a bit, and then was off, sprinting in the direction that the aura was coming from.

Sorry this took so long to start and I will think of a title later!

The park.

Nembus came here for patrols on occasion, mostly when she noticed that her quota wasn't going to get hit--because honestly, she didn't have any particular driving interest to fulfill her quota, considering most of her team's work was civilian-side driven anyway. It was an easy place to run into several unsuspecting people and pluck their energy from them without draining them so severely they fainted. It made Nembus feel a bit better about what she was doing.

Sometimes, though, she had to fight off the internal instinct to drain more for the sake of Chaos. To drain them all the way down, to watch them fall, to take their things, to--

Nembus shook her head out of it, quickly disappearing a small ball of energy before she could think any further on it. Cautiously, she slipped away from the woman who she had been draining from, moving to hide in another place in the park until someone else came by who seemed to have a lot of energy left.

Well, until she felt a strong Order aura.

Or, at least, her strength -- it wasn't strong like Eurydike's had been, and it wasn't as weak as Genbu's and Seiryuu's certainly felt, now. It wasn't the same strength Sedna's would have been, either. Nembus was uncertain if she knew any super Order senshi, really.

Perhaps it would be in her best interest to get out of the way--

But the aura was rapidly encroaching, and Nembus only knew how to do what Nembus did best.

Which was to say she did nothing.

She didn't flee, she didn't get ready to fight back, she didn't teleport away.

She just stood there.

Kami got there as quickly as he could and he realized that it was a Super Corrupt that he had been feeling the aura of. He felt anger rush through him for a moment, before calming down again. From where he could see the Super, she wasn't doing anything. Yet. Still though, he couldn't help but feel angry at the Corrupt. She was part of the Negaverse. She had to have been in on the Circus facade!

He wondered for a moment if she was going to do anything, or if she was just readying her attack, and he figured it would be better to be safe than sorry.

He quickly ran towards her and when he was close enough, shouted, "Surgeon's Slice!" While making the slashing motion with his hand. Though if the Corrupt wanted, they could dodge the attack. Still though, he just couldn't stop his rage at the Negaverse agent. Was it unjustified? He wasn't sure, but he hadn't been able to let any of his feelings out as of yet, and unfortunately for the Corrupt, his feelings were now coming to a head against her.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Surgeon's Slice
Focusing on a target, Kami makes a slicing motion with his hand as if holding a scalpel. Down the middle of the of the target's chest a thin line appears and it feels as if they are being cut open for surgery. Feels like getting cut by a knife. It lasts for 35 seconds and can be used on two targets, with only 2 uses. The player can choose a pain amount, between a scale of 1-10, between 5-7 on the scale (only the sensation of pain! They don't actually get cut!).

Why was he running at her like that? Why couldn't she make herself move?

She stared at him like a deer in the headlights as he slashed his hand in the air, and as an afterthought, she realized she should probably try to teleport away like so many of the others did, but it was too late for her to take action at this point. The slice slammed into her chest, and Nembus screamed, suddenly snapping out of her daze when the pain rippled from her chest like someone had opted to tear into her.

With an actual knife.

Nembus clutched onto her chest, keeling over as she attempted to adjust to the sensation. What kind of attack was that? Why had he done that? She wasn't doing anything, and for the most part, Order had either left her alone in the past or worked with her. What was this guy's problem? Why did he attack her on sight? Why had he charged her the way he had? What were his motivations?

Why did his attack hurt so much?

Nembus stumbled back, looking back up at him with watery eyes.

"What was that for?!" asked Nembus, baffled, before murmuring an, "Arc Blind," to perhaps get him to back off a bit.

Sailor Scout Attack: "Arc Blind!"
Prolonged exposure to electromagnetic fields is known to cause eye damage, especially in the form of cataracts. When Nembus says the name of her attack and points at an enemy, they notice that it quickly becomes a lot harder to see. In effect, it feels like they have very bad cataracts for 25 seconds, making it a lot harder to attack or defend themselves. Residual effects are at the discretion of the player.
(Uses: Thrice per battle.
Duration: 25 seconds
Range: Localized)

Kami had gotten the hit in, but hadn't calculated the senshi recovering so quickly and striking him back. He was immediately hit... with something. Whatever the attack was, it looked as though cataracts were on his eyes and he cursed to himself. He hoped that this wouldn't be a permanent condition, and if it was, then he had foolishly rushed head-long into something that in just a few seconds had ruined the rest of this life.

But that wasn't the problem. The problem was there was still a corrupt that he needed to deal with. "What was that for? Aren't all of you Negaverse Agents the same? How dare you guys create that fake circus! Do you know how many people were hurt?" Though the Negaverse probably didn't care about hurting others. "You must have all been in on it!" He just couldn't believe that they would put their own agents in danger like that otherwise!

He tried to blink the magic effects away, but like the rest of them, it seemed that he would need to wait for the magic to fade away. Though he refused to back down if the corrupt wanted to continue to attack.

The moment he started cursing to himself was the moment that Nembus realized her ability must have taken effect. Good. She held onto her chest as it continued to throb and stumbled off to the side, trying to get out of his hitting radius before he got any other ideas.

He seemed mad, to say the least.

He was accusing her of being all the same, and Nembus was about to protest that just by virtue of being a sailor senshi and not an agent like most of the other members of the faction she belonged to, but then he started screaming about some fake circus. What was he talking about? Nembus hadn't heard of a fake circus. Was it another one of those bottle dimension things? Had there been a circus dimension? She didn't think so...

And anyway, she wasn't involved in that!

Nembus shouted back a, "What are you talking about?!" sounding legitimately baffled. She continued on, getting a bit further away from him in the process, "I've never heard of a fake circus!"

Maybe she should go before he recovered and started lashing out at her again...

The Corrupt's powers were still strong. He hated not having sight. It was something that he would most likely end himself over if he lost it permanently. He only hoped that if this was permanent, that he might be able to get some eye surgery. Though it would take a bit of questioning considering sudden cataracts were probably quite rare...

He shouted back at her. "I'm not buying it! That whole fake celebration turned circus thing was done by the Negaverse! How could you not know that went on? How are you not part of it?" It didn't make any sense. He knew that the senshi and knights were scattered. But wasn't the Negaverse supposed to be more military-like? Why would they not inform their agents of what was going on? She's lying. He thought, unable to trust what the corrupt was saying. There was no proof after all. Could he show her that she wasn't involved in it?

I'm not sure how I missed this one! Sorry for the late reply!

That whole fake celebration turned circus thing?

What was he talking about?!

Nembus looked around for an easy escape, trying to figure out if she could at least get far enough away to get enough time to teleport. She was still too new at this being a 'super' thing. She didn't exactly have that instant battle teleportation down the way some of the generals did, or the way Stillwaterite had back when she was Stillwaterite...

She wrung her hands nervously, turning her gaze back towards the angry senshi. Best not to risk taking her eyes off him. Maybe she could back up a bit more, though...

"Because I wasn't! I don't know what you're talking about, really!" And she didn't. The Negaverse had their hands in a lot of things, she was pretty sure, and she'd probably buy there being a celebration that the Negaverse was involved in -- but what was this nonsense about 'turned circus?' Why would the Negaverse turn something into a circus? What was the purpose of that? And was she supposed to know about it? Had she missed a memo?

Nembus bumbled out a "The Negaverse is big, White Moon! I don't know what you want me to tell you!" Maybe she should just take his--

No.

Kami was starting to doubt himself, or at least doubt that the corrupt was actually part of the whole circus debacle. She hadn't given him any information yet, though she could have just been lying. But if she was going to lie, wouldn't she have said something different? Or just told him that she wouldn't be spilling her secrets?

He hesitated. His eyes were finally starting to turn back to normal, though there were a few flashes that he could see. He frowned.

Could he really believe her? Weren't all of those involved in the Negaverse evil? Even so, was he really mad at the Negaverse, or was he angrier at the fact that Hamal had almost gotten hurt and they had lost each other in the chaos?

He started to realize it was the latter. Which made him feel guilty, even if the Negaverse was evil. He had to rise above that though. "If... if you don't know-" He said, hesitation in his voice, though his body was positioned to show that if she tried to attack him he would be ready, "Then maybe you should ask about it. I suppose you might not know everything that goes on." He took a step back, but still kept a defensive stance. He hated to do this, but he felt too guilty ignoring it. "I'm sorry to have attacked you like that. I know we are enemies. If you don't know anything though, then you don't know." And that was all he could say really.

"If you want to go, I won't stop you. Of course, you probably won't believe me after what I just did to you." He said, giving her a wry smile, though the smile went unseen through the mask.

Yes, she didn't know. Why was he so insistent that she must--

Oh.

He was dropping it, and backing up.

Nembus let out a breath of relief, letting her shoulders slump just a bit as it seemed like he was going to stop attacking her. Good. Okay. He got the point. Maybe he thought she was lying, still, considering he didn't seem particularly relaxed, but at least he was apologizing. Apologizing? She had always been told that those of the White Moon were her enemy, and sometimes they proved it, but other times they seemed like they were the same as everyone else. Sometimes they seemed like they were better than some of the others.

Awkwardly, she rubbed her shoulder, before reaching down and wringing her hands. "Uh, yeah. I don't know everything that goes on. There's ranks and divisions and ... it's a military, so. That was probably handled by another division." Should she had been saying this? Did it really matter?

Maybe it'd stop him from attacking someone else like her.

"I'm sorry you were caught up in it, whatever it was."

And Nembus backed up too, quickly, wanting to make sure he wasn't going to go back on his word and pursue her anyway.

Kami held his hands up to show that he wasn't a threat. He accepted her... apology, though he wondered if she should be apologizing in the first place. After all, it didn't seem to be her fault, but she was part of the organization as a whole was she not? He just nodded instead. He was afraid that if he didn't, then he might say something stupid, and their battle would start once again.

He backed up a bit himself, trying to create some distance between the two of them. "All right. Sorry... once again about that." What could he really say though? Sorry that I attacked you even though we're on opposing sides? There really wasn't anything else to say really. He would have to think about it tonight though. Perhaps he had been out of the game too long? Or maybe he didn't understand as much as he thought he did, even though he was a Super Senshi now.

He sighed, knowing that he wouldn't have an easy time sleeping that night.

All right, last post from me! Thank you for the rp!

He apologized again.

There was a part of her that wondered why those of the White Moon--those of Order--seemed to oscillate between so mean and so ... nice. They were on opposing sides. He really didn't have need to apologize. And yet, he had attacked her unprompted. Perhaps he did.

She sighed quietly.

"It's okay." It wasn't, though. "Have a good night."

And with herself and her confused thoughts, Nembus took off into the nearest alleyway.
