Lorne knew he'd have a lot of apologies and making up to do to Nadia's family, and for his part, his family was both thrilled and huffy (especially his father) since they'd never gotten to meet this lovely girl the first time around. The joys of long distance family. They were already considering flying out, if just to have a chance to see her and meet the new wing of the family tree their son was tacking on before the big day.

For his part, though - he'd never been happier. He'd been gushing to Auguste, to Fritz, to Colin, even to Ploutonion through a very long, flowery letter. Mont Blonc was engaged to Methone! Lorne was marrying Nadia!

And admittedly, yes, he was not the least bit upset that he had the uh... stamina to keep up with Methone now. He'd really, REALLY been enjoying that part. The intensity of their nights kind of boggled his mind in the best way, and wow, suffice to say, he thought he knew Nadia, but he'd learned a LOT more in the past couple of weeks. He blushed at the thought, heart soaring when his phone lit with a text from her.

The response came lightning fast, especially for someone who was awkward with their phone even to this day: 'God, yes. Name the time and I will be there.'
