Wolframite was taking a stack of medical documents from the hospital across the grounds to the office. While the task seemed simple enough, he had issues on how to properly hold the files for a while until he finally managed to press them against his chest with one hand and placed his other hand over that. It made him look as if he was having a heart attack or surprised about something, but it at least kept the papers in one place. It was some of the few tasks he was being trusted with at the moments since reporting after settling in the barracks.
Walking slowly, he entered the Negaverse headquarters and started to navigate the hallways, pausing to look around and take another turn. It had been years since he was here and he was having a time trying to remember how the place worked.

Sylvite was settling in nicely to her new role as an Information captain, and for the most part she was absolutely loving it. She got to investigate mysteries and interrogate people and all kinds of cool stuff. It made her feel like a spy right out of the movies. Black Widow, even, with all of the flipping around she could do. The downside was definitely the paperwork. It wasn't terrible. She mostly could fill it out on her tablet, and if that got too boring she would come down to Negaspace to make her reports on the computers by the offices. She always liked working a those, 'cause they were powered by the nearby crystals that she could see just glowing with energy. Sometimes she'd fine other interesting stuff, too. Like now, when on her way down the halls she found herself face to face with an officer who was purple, with glowing eyes and big, fluffy ears. Sylvite half noticed the papers in his hand. That was maybe important, but that was also for later. For now, she stared, wide eyed and quickly breaking out into a grin. "Oh, hi!" Since she'd met Faustite, she'd been really into the idea of half-youma. Maybe this one would actually be nice on top of being awesome. She stepped forwards. "You're really cool!"

'Uh. Hi there." He said, stepping aside to allow her to have room to pass despite the fact the hallways here were pretty spacious. With his new arms and tail, he felt like he took too much space these days and was getting in people's way. Too often he'd bump his elbows into something or smack his tail into a table or chair (rather painfully.)
The next thing that she said had him staggering in disbelief. "Cool?" How was he cool? He was a lieutenant that looked like a oversized dog holding some almost spilling manila folders. He couldn't recall anyone ever calling him cool before. Far from it. His uniform with heels and bows had often got him teased by senshi and officers alike. "Thank you?"
She at least seemed nice. "I'm Vitriol. Um.....do you know where this room is? I need to deliver these papers." He asked, holding up a piece of paper that that held (more like stuck) to one of his claws. One of the hospital attendees had thought it was funny to pierce the paper through his claw as a way for him not to drop it.
"I think I missed a turn somewhere."

Sylvite saw the way that he stepped back when he called him cool, like he didn't believe it or something. It wasn't that weird of a reaction. Lots of people had like, no self confidence. According to the internet it was all because of capitalism, but either way it was definitely a thing. Still, she hadn't met anyone who had no self coincidence who also had awesome, fluffy wolf ears. Not to be discouraged, Sylvite just grinned wider. "Yeah! Your eyes are really pretty, you look like you could totally wreck someone with those claws-" She might have kept going if he hadn't asked her for directions. Instead, she shuffled closer and leaned forwards to squint at the paper before nodding. "Yeah, it's one of the offices. Like, two hallways back and to the left?" She gestured vaguely in the direction she'd been coming from. Now that she was looking at the paper, though, she couldn't help but notice the rest of the papers and how weirdly they were shoved against his chest. "Uh, do you need help? Extra hands, maybe?" This was the kind of thing that probably counted as grunt work that Captains were too good for, but Sylvite didn't really buy into that stuff as long as everything ran smoothly. "Oh, and I'm Sylvite," she said, waving since it didn't seem like handshakes were gonna happen.

There was a slight blush. Pretty eyes? Just a while ago they weren't even functioning and now they were pretty? It was sudden and very direct. He wanted to say they were new, but that sounded stupid and would bring up a lot of questions he didn't want to answer.
Instead, he gave a little chuckle to help his nervousness. "Well, they are my weapons now." He said, looking down at them as they held to the folders. "People seem awfully excited about half-youma. I thought people would be a bit more - put off."
"Oh well. It's my job so I shouldn't bother you but - If you could maybe gather them back together so I can hold them straight again. I can feel them slipping down and if they spill it is going to take me all day trying to pick up each piece of paper." He asked, not wanting to drop them but having a hard time sorting them back into place.
"It's nice to meet you, Sylvite." He'd brought a hand up to shake but noticed that wasn't good. So he rose it up like she did and waved. "I need to find a new way to do handshakes that won't tear up a hand." He joked.

Any subtle changes in the guy's expression went completely over Sylvite's head. It was because she was busy not so subtly staring at his ears. They were just so fluffy! And they twitched and everything! It was like something out of a movie, and seeing it in person had Sylvite bouncing back and forth on her heels. He thought it would be offputting, though? Sylvite tilted her head. "I mean, the Order people probably won't like it but they have a really messed up sense of morality," she said. To them, torturing fourteen year olds was fine. Stealing planets was fine, but draining energy from people or like, the whole youma situation was worth starting a war over. She rolled her eyes just thinking about it. "But yeah, I think it's really interesting, as long as you don't try to eat me." She grinned, although there was a certain set to her eyes that said she meant business if he tried anything. She'd had a few run-ins with out of control youma. It didn't seem like that was gonna be a problem, though. She nodded and reached out for his papers. "Yeah, I can do that. I mean, I'm Information, it's kinda my job, too, to make sure info gets where it needs to go." It wasn't like she usually signed up for paperwork duty, but she'd do it for a cool new friend. Plus, something didn't quite add up about them putting a guy with no fine motor skills doing delicate work like this. The Negaverse was usually all about efficiency. Looking through her own projects had put Sylvite in mystery solving mode, and she was getting the feeling there was a story here. She could start with handshakes, though. She glanced at his claws again, then nodded and held out a hand. "We can practice." She was a tiny girl with tinier hands, but she didn't flinch as she reached for one of his claws. "Then you can tell me your name, Mystery Boy."

She was staring at his ears.
He knew that because there was nothing else stop his head and he could see her eyes move whenever they turned. He had to understand the appeal. When he met Wolfiete, he had wanted to pet him too. It was a hard compulsion to fight and Sylvite was being a trooper in restraining herself. It was just a kind of poetic justice that he used to smother so many strays with affection pets and baby talk to then be on the other side.
As she held her hand out, he regarded it like a small kitten while he had an armful of grenades. Nervous, he slowly extended his hand in a snail's pace before setting it atop her hand. It was the best he could do but every moment he worried he'd slice a finger off. They weren't razors but they felt that way.
"It's Vitriol. My name."
He looked up from watching her hand. "And - I guess you'd want to get it out of your system. Do you wanna touch them?" To which he glanced up. Whenever he reported to work somewhere, it was one of the first things his superiors and colleagues did. "I get it. I wanted to do the same to Wolfiete."

Sylvite usually didn't worry about getting hurt until after the fact. The wolf boy looking all worried just made her want to help him, not think she was about to loose her hand or anything. It ended up being fine. She could only wrap her fingers around one of his claws, but that was enough to shake his had with even if it probably looked hilarious from a distance. "Nice to meet you, Vitriol," she said, all proper for just a second before she stepped back and laughed. "Oh, is that a youma name? Are you toxic?" she asked, not looking away as she tapped his papers on her knee a few times to straighten them out. "Ooooh, or do you like fight people by insulting them?" She was pretty sure vitriol meant something like that. Her eyes went big at the thought. The idea was awesome. It almost sounded like something a senshi could do. If she was excited about that, she lit up even more when he offered to let her touch his ears. "Yes! Yes please!" He was only a couple inches taller than her, so it was easy to reach up and ruffle his hair and ears a little like he was a real dog, 'cause she couldn't really think of any way to do it. Then, she stepped back with a giggle. "You're really soft!" She blinked. "Is that weird to say?"

Getting petted was like a mix of someone brushing their hands through your hair and scratching that one spot in the center of your back you couldn't reach. It was calming, and at times just made you want to close your eyes and sink.
"I think it just comes with the territory for me now. Though I am glad I'm soft and not greasy or prickly. Just imagine if I looked like a porcupine. Then I think all of this would be even crazier." He said, smiling as she giggled.
"I'm a bit toxic I guess. Venomous really." He clarified. "And yes, it's my name. I don't remember any other ones I'd have." And it was special. One given just for him. He had told Faustite to name him because it would be safer to have an alias other than his previous name of Wolframite while the DMC still thought him dead, but there was something inherently beautiful in being named by someone. A new slate. A changed body. A new name. These were all things the Queen and his general gave him.
It felt right.
"And I don't insult anyone who doesn't deserve it. You're not white moon after all so I wouldn't be mean to you." Everyone here was his ally and it was his duty to serve them. To help them. To rise up with them. To be stronger for them.
"You work in Intel? Have you been in the Negaverse long?" He said, reaching out to take the now much neater folders from her as delicately as he could.
"I'll probably be going into Special Operations when I'm able."

A porcupine? "I mean, it would be sad that you couldn't get petted, but then you could stab people with your back!" The wolf thing was pretty cool in its own way though, and so was whatever fire thing was going on with Faustite. Sylvite pursed her lips for a second and thought, but nothing came up that seemed like it would be that bad to be merged with. Even most of the weird animals had something going for them that could get even better if they were human sized and magic. Like, spiders. They were gross when they hung out on the ceiling, but if you threw a person into the mix, you got Spiderman. It seemed like pretty much everyone loved Spiderman. The memory comment caught her attention. That was a clue. She only knew of memory loss from people who had gotten brought over, but he didn't seem to want to dwell on it, so she didn't ask yet. "There's White Moon people that totally deserve to get insulted," she said instead. "And knights." Her bubbly smile dropped a little at that. Sylvite did not like knights. "But if you don't have, like, insult magic, you can always just fight them." Vitriol totally looked like he could fight people. "Spec Ops, huh?" Her smile came back at that. "I'm impressed. You're gonna be one of the elite! I'm getting better at fighting, but it's never gonna be my thing. It's always cool meeting people who are good with it." She straightend as tall as she could and shook out her curls a little. "Intel is my thing, yeah. I guess I've been in the Negaverse for almost four years," she did a quick count on her fingers and nodded. "Yeah. But I started a new project a couple months ago. I got a promotion and everything! I'm trying to get information on the enemy."

"I hope so. I need to be the best." He said, smiling at her as they approached the line of office doors down the hallway.
Giving her a raised claw to wait, he opened the door and went inside. After introducing himself to the general inside, he set down (slightly spilled) the paperwork on the desk, and then left, closing the door behind him. One more job done for the day.
Tail a bit more energetic then before, he returned to her as she explained her new promotion. "Congrats on the promotion. What kind of information are you trying to find out about the enemy? White moon and knights? Are you going on a lot of patrols lately to find out more? Are you in a team?"

Sylvite waited for Vitriol to get his work done, but she smiled when he came back out to congratulate her and ask about her new work. She hadn't really gotten to talk to too many agents about it yet. "Yeah," she said, nodding bouncily as she talked. "Senshi, knights, they apparently have cats? I haven't seen any cats yet, but I guess them too." As they talked, she pulled out her communicator and flipped it into tablet mode. As usual, she already had the database pulled up. "This is what I'm working on. It's mostly cataloguing people, figuring out their names and powers so you guys can fight them better, and if they're like, aggressive or if they're maybe worth trying to bring over." She held the display out so that he could see it and scrolled through the entries. There were a few there, everyone that Sylvite had met and some older ones, but it was nothing compared to all those people who had invaded Negaspace back when she was new. "I'm learning to get people to talk, but I was thinking I should probably start talking to other agents, too." She thought again about the paperwork and claws situation and tilted her head, all innocence. "Like, have you met anyone from Order yet?"

He stared back at her and slowly blinked.
"Order has cats. Knights do not. They do not use the same power as Senshi. Senshi use planets. Knights have wonders." He confirmed her statement.
"And I have met members of Order. Which ones did you want to know about?"

Sylvite nodded, the big excited grin fading just a little. "Makes sense. Senshi get all the cool stuff," she said with a little sigh, before she added, "I mean, the ones on our side, too," in case he thought she was being sympathetic towards the space pirates. She was not. "I didn't know that, though. That's cool!" Once they got out of the row of offices, Sylvite found a blank section of crystalline wall to lean against while she typed some notes into her tablet. "And I mean, information on anyone and everyone is important. But uh, did anyone stand out, like as strong or something? Do you remember anyone's name?

He thought about it and who might be of interest. "Well there are the Royals. Ganymeade. Polaris. Castor. Most don't do much of anything. Castor does things occassionally. Camelot is the only knight strong like them. Haven't seen any other knights at his level. Dark Moon Court is Ares, Leto, and Remarque. Ares isn't around though." He said, opening a claw as he counted those he felt were powerful.
"That's about all I can think of."
