Hours were spent reading through potential candidate's files and while it was monotonous, Labyrinthite knew that the time spent was necessary. Skimming would do him no good if it meant that he missed crucial details that would have otherwise disqualified an agent, or senshi.

Each person would be met so he could evaluate them, get a read and determine if yes, this was someone he wanted to bring with him on perhaps the most important mission of his career.

The devil was in the details.

He had found a lieutenant who appeared to have a promising history within the negaverse despite her rank and he'd called for her via tablet communication.

If she was as good of a soldier as the reports claimed, she would heed a general's call.

and yes she will hit on him if she thinks she can get away with it >.<'

Getting the call from a general that was not Beni was strange but Strengite still took it as her due. She was a good little soldier, sort of. She did her job collecting energy and the odd starseed, she even used her blog occasionally for the neagaverse spin. That was few and far in between however, mostly because she tended to handle social locations and events so unless s**t happened at a event, which has happened more then she would prefer, so she tended to have to get the ‘official’ story from Beni or someone else. Either way, it didn’t matter why she was being called in only that she was.

With a half smile the leggy woman paused a moment outside of the office door to make sure she was presentable. After giving her hair one last fluff she rapped on the door, only opening it once she was given permission. As much as Strengite wanted to just throw it open and pose it wouldn’t reflect well on her, she wasn’t stupid after all, so she just posed once pushing it open. It was only a short pose, one where she was standing mostly straight but with a slight sassy shift so it was clear she was a female… as if the toned legs, nice curves, and hair didn’t proclaim as much.

“I heard you wanted to see me, sir?” She murmured quietly, the sir at the end came out more of a purr. If she could get on this general’s good side then she would have even more people to use. Goodie! She just needed to make sure she read him right and didn’t do anything to piss him off. Even she had heard things about this particular pinked hair General.

Her knock was met with a, "Enter." Short and to the point, because Labyrinthite didn't see the need in lining things with fluff.

If the general took note of her curvy figure or toned legs, it didn't show as his expression remained relatively impassive as he looked at her. There was a set of chairs across from him that he gestured at before issuing another command, "Sit."

While she purred, he was flat with a hint of forcefulness in his tone.

"I've been reviewing your file, before I proceed is there anything you have to share about yourself that might not have made it into the report?"

Hmmmm. Stern, No nonsense, short and to the point. Up tight to the point of clenching and producing a diamond. Unless Strengite missed her guess this particular General had a serious stick up his butt, unlike her own little diminutive Beni-bear. Pulling the flirt on this fellow wouldn’t do anything more then get a glare out of him and while she enjoyed a little ‘slap and tickle’ every so often she had a feeling this particular male wasn’t too interested in the ‘tickle’ part. Such a shame really. He did have a certain look about him.

After suppressing the urge to roll her eyes at his deadpan voice Strengite entered the room like the good little soldier she was, taking the seat she was directed to. It took even less time for her to situate herself comfortably, politely, and yet still putting herself in the best view. It wasn’t an easy task but it was something she was an expert in. How to look like a lady but still look enticing, not that she expected this particular stick in the mud to notice. Such a pity really.

The woman cocked her head slightly at the question in a move designed to be cute as much as it was to show slight confusion, as much as she wanted to be cheeky right then she held her tongue and instead stated simply, “Not to my knowledge sir. Then again I am not quite sure what is in my file to begin with.” It would have at least a record of the theater fire that Beni orchestrated and most definitely the rift spelunking with that giant crowd of officers looking for some crystal doohickeys that ended up with her getting a special metal but beyond that Strengite didn’t really know what was written in her file. “I hope there isn’t anything too bad in there,” She murmured quietly, almost shyly before adding “I know I’m not the best fighter and didn’t get very far in the last tournament but I’m working on it.” She wasn’t really, mostly just playing at it. “And besides I’m more of a informationist rather than a fighter,” She finished.

As much as it was all true it was also spun and vocalized in a way to make her seem slightly demure, semi eager, and overall more then willing to please. In reality she wasn’t so demure, was really biased towards her pleasure, and while eager for things that interested her it mostly was just that… things that interest her. She was a team player because it amused her, it got her power she desired, and it benefited her in some way. So, pretty much like every other human in the universe.

How much of that was reflected in her file Strengite had no clue.

He didn't have to look up to notice that the lieutenant was putting herself on display for him. Her behavior reminded him of Dia, the haughty confidence, and of Queenie, who didn't seem to care about professionalism when it came to getting what she wanted.

He wondered how exactly she would behave.

His idle wondering was answered almost immediately, with Strengite opting to be coy and try to appeal to his baser instincts. Unfortunately, she would find that such tactics were not appealing to him. He had enough experience sussing them out and telling real from fake from his girlfriend.

Labyrinthite didn't seem to react much to her attempt to appeal to him. "Luckily, informants always have their uses." While he preferred more versatile agents, he wouldn't turn away specialized ones.

"I'd like you to accompany myself and a the team I've assembled overseas. Your informational skills might prove useful there."

Overseas. Just the word itself had the woman take notice. Her gaze seemed to sharpen a bit even as she leaned forward some, as if to hear him better. She didn’t really care what the assignment was, just that it was out of the city, out of the country. Granted there were a few places she definitely didn’t want to go but she had a suspicion that wherever he was talking about it would be worth her while to tag along. “Where exactly? It's possible I might already have contacts in the area.” She had shifted from flirty at first, to shy and coy, and now just business. She wanted in on his little shindig, so she needed to prove it. As for the ‘contacts’, it would have been twitter followers at best. Maybe some people who follow her blog but really that was even less likely. Not that she would let this particular General know any of that.

“When and for how long will you need my assistance? I shouldn’t have too much trouble with my job since I’m a freelancer but it would be best to set something up to cover my absence.” There were a lot of other writers who would happily fill her spot so Strengite would need to protect her territory as best as possible so the more she knew ahead of time the better for her. She might even be able to make a little money off of this trip if she could swing a article or two out of it depending on how long the whole trip was. Of course she would make sure none of it touched on the real reason she was… where ever she was going, but she would still make sure it wouldn’t cause problems for the higher ups. Strengite liked teasing and flirting but she wasn’t stupid. She was expendable.

At least for now.

"Witzend, England."

It was a sizable city, but also somewhat unknown all things considering. The operation over there had been neat, clean, problematic until suddenly they'd been compromised. Details were still trickling in and a proper debrief would be given to everyone once they'd arrived at their destination.

"The length of time depends on how long it takes us to handle the situation. It could be anywhere from a few weeks to months." For Labyrinthite, it didn't matter. Duty came first.

"We leave at the end of the week." It wasn't much time to prepare or to get things into place, but they were already taking too long to respond in his opinion.

The only reason he hadn't left immediately is because he needed more than just his wolves.

Strengite mentally hummed in happiness. England, the UK… Europe. If she was lucky maybe she could swing a day trip to London… or Paris after the whole nonsense was over. Yes. She wanted in on this little party. Now she just had to make sure she didn’t say or do anything that would mean she was cut from the ‘go’ list. “Understood, that's not a lot of time to work with but I’ll get it done.” She had a week to get her affairs in order, both business and personal, it would be tight but her mind was already working on it.

“Is there any further questions you have for me sir?” She kept it polite and business like since it had been made clear to her that this particular General wasn’t interested in her, not even as a verbal sparring partner like it was with Beni, so the sooner she headed out the sooner she could get everything done.

She was going to Europe!

Hell yeah!

The woman had her uses, he was sure, and while he could tell that she might need reigning in, he thought she would still make an excellent asset.

"Good," he replied, because her responses were what he wanted to hear. He said do it, they got it done.

"No," he said with a slight wave of his hand. "You are dismissed." He would spare her one last glance before she left but that was all she'd get.
