Aegir, Corvus, and Eta had all admonished him to read the Primer available through his senshi phone. Of course, they kind of...hadn't mentioned that it would be difficult to do that while in Destiny City as a goddamn basic senshi unless he wanted to be mobbed by youma or officers looking for an easy mark. When he said as much, Aegir made the suggestion of going to his home world of Suttungr to read unmolested. A suggestion that he hadn't been too certain of, but had gone with after the second attempt that had ended with his getting attacked.

He'd meditated on the feel of Suttungr and then pressed the stupid button like he'd been shown and at first nothing had happened...but then. Then. Magic. Suttungr was whisked away through space to a place he'd never once been in his life - but that felt like home.

"I guess that's why they call it a 'home world' huh?" In the preternatural quiet, his voice sounded odd: kind of high and tinny as it bounced off crumbling structures with strangely smooth sections. 'I bet my horn would sound really weird out here. Huh. Might have to try it sometime...' Suttungr's heels clacked on the rubble-strewn stone (for really, he could think of no better thing to call the material under his feet) flooring as he looked around, unwilling to speak again. The susurration of cloth, the steady pulse of blood through blood vessels and arteries, and the quickened breathing of a human in some emotional stage between panic and awe were all so loud.

A voice would only be that much worse again.

Even though space wasn't exactly silent. There was a soft breeze on Suttungr, it moaned quietly through the ruins and roll-skipped smaller bits of debris into piles like so many snow drifts. Some of the shapes brought to mind the Ivory Tower, and Suttungr wondered if he'd find the Childlike Empress tucked away somewhere.

He really hoped not - it would be really weird.

Or wait, was he supposed to be the avatar of the Empress, begging some dumb boy to give him a Name? Or were the senshi of Suttungr more like...the Bastian of the story? Would he find the answers in the vaunted Primer? "Tune in next week..." Immediate regret washed over the brunet at having opened his mouth again. His voice echoed hauntingly, more of the smooth material crumbled from the vibrations of sound.

Suttungr found a likely space that was protected decently from any incipient weather - just in case - pulled a blanket and notebook from subspace, yanked his boots off, and sat down with his back against one of the least crumbly pillars to study. The 'stone' was cool against his back, but not unpleasantly so...almost as if it were made of a material that didn't just absorb heat from ambient light, but reflected and refracted it to keep things warmer than they would have been otherwise. Interesting, but he'd have to put a pin in those thoughts.

Let me first introduce myself. I am Eternal Sailor Kallichore, and this is my gift to you.

Whether you were willing or not, you've been awakened...

Some hours and several pages of notes later, Suttungr closed both his notebook and the app on his Senshi phone before tucking both away into subspace. It was...a lot of information to digest all at once. A lot of the updated information that came from 'Eternal Thraen' was interesting in that 'well ********' sort of way...and it was pretty obvious which of the two contributors had a scholar's background.

There had been a great number of interesting things about Mauvians from Thraen too, which lead Suttungr to believe the senshi was a cat lover. 'I didn't know Eta could do it by putting her star to my chest, that's really cool. I wonder if that's like...ye olde fashioned way or something?' Also, knowing that Eta could possibly take on a human form? That was some sci-fi amazing s**t...but also hella weird too. Like, why stay a cat then? Wasn't being small and quadrupedal something that made her life - and work as a Guardian Cat - harder?? If they were supposed to be doing all sorts of tech-based things, then didn't it make more sense for Mauvians to have hands?

"Okay, but I have a lot of questions..." A lot of things he was going to have to ask someone. Probably Colin, since he felt a little weird asking Cordy (she was too stacked, he couldn't stop staring at her tits and it was a Problem). He'd ask Eta but...well, she might not know, being a cat. Or she might not like, understand why he had those questions - or even be offended, which was probably the worst thing.

Or maybe he just felt dumb asking the brilliant Mau and found it easier to talk to someone more his intelligence level.

Regardless, Suttungr got up and folded his blanket around his shoulders as he walked around to explore his home world a bit more. Returning to Earth meant powering down and seeking out Colin. Staying on Suttungr meant discovering crumbling ruins - and some not-so-crumbling ruins - and having a good time clearing out one of the not-so-crumbling ruins so he could leave his blanket behind. For next time. Because there would be a next time, with more resources brought from home for comfort and ease of exploration...like...hiking boots. Instead of kitten heels.

I wonder...if the Mauvians are all reincarnated...does that mean we are all reincarnations too? It doesn't say anything about that but...is it maybe a thing? Out came the notepad and pen so that he could make yet another note about questions he'd like to get answers - or just information - about.

Being a senshi was really weird s**t. It always had been, but it got a lot weirder post reading the Primer. Breaking a henshin pen...had people actually done that!? Of course they had or it wouldn't have been mentioned. Damn. Suttungr was definitely not breaking his. I guess I know what my choice is now, huh? I want to train and fight.

But first...exploration!
