█BACKGROUND ▬ "Love myself I do. Not everything, but I love the good as well as the bad. I love my crazy lifestyle, and I love my hard discipline. I love my freedom of speech and the way my eyes get dark when I'm tired. I love that I have learned to trust people with my heart, even if it will get broken. I am proud of everything that I am and will become."
Francheska's history is nothing short of tumultuous and eventful. When she was able to remember things, she was already being taught by her mother how to write, read and count. Shortly after was the pursuance of the arts. The Waesche family are a distinguished family of painters. Their history goes way back, and as such they've attain a good status in the kingdom. Not quite in the high society, but well enough to be respected.
They respected the arts first and foremost, and the principles of it. The joys of life, and the expression they can create. However, as the Grimm attacks intensified and the Kingdom started the ban on expressive thoughts they were at a loss. While they weren't affected by the ban, as a lot of the high society bought their paintings, they also couldn't see the joy in life and expression anymore. This is when Fran's grandfather took action, Taking a silent protest, the family stopped painting, and took the ban unto themselves. Of course, not everyone in the family was happy with his decision. Not only did their great source on income disappear but they also now face scrutiny.
And an eventful night changed everything. A young and foolish Waesche committed a terrible act. Having paid some of the low society's troublemakers and mobsters, an attack happened to the Waesche house. As the attack happened and panic ensued, Francheska's father killed the house's head, and then proceeded to give the signal for the brigands to back off, as he pretended to fight them off. The death of Francheska's father was pointed to the criminals and her father got away with murder.
Soon after, as the Grimm attacks were so intense that it couldn't be stopped any longer, they moved to the Kingdom of Vale. There they established themselves and once more pursued the arts, owning a painting workshop and selling their paintings. But karma soon followed the father as his brothers and sisters started to die with illnesses. He started to become paranoid and insane, abusing his wife and children. Soon, Fran was born.
A dark atmosphere always hangs around in the Waesche household, which is never present in their workshop. Their mother is rather thin and weakly and would be mumbling curses. The eldest of them, Fran's older brother was just as abusive as their father. The middle child, Fran's older sister, was neglected by their mother. Left to her own devices and never paid attention to. As long as you can paint, no one cared. Fran on the other hand was different. She learnt quickly and adapted fast. This led to her mother being obsessive towards her. This didn't sit well with her older siblings who always played pranks on her and blamed her for things she didn't do but her mother would always cover for her. Until she was 6 and her painting prowess was being evaluated by their father.
Fran's paintings were horrible and childish. There was no realism and she didn't follow natural methods. As her father looked at the painting she presented, her father stood up and laughed maniacally. "There's no need for a child that can't paint in this family" her father said in a cold and unemphatic voice. He ripped her clothes off and tied her to a tree in their backyard. Her mother protested of course, but ended up getting punched in the face and knocked out by their father. Her father then whipped her several times until she was knocked out by the pain.
After that incident, Fran decided to imitate the family's painting style. She was still being bullied by her siblings, but she relented. At age 7, she was evaluated again, but her painting was still sub par. This led to another round of whipping. At age 8, she was finally able to produce a painting that her father approved.
However, at 11 she would see her older brother practicing with a wooden sword. Combat arts were banned by their father in their household, this is mostly because he didn't want anyone that could fight him. Her brother then told her to keep a secret, and in turn will also teach her was he was being taught. This continued on for over 2 years, until their father discovered them. All the blame was place on Francheska, her brother even stating that she planned to overthrow their father. This enraged her father.
Her mother, now bedridden and couldn't do anything, just covered her ears as to not hear their daughter's cries through out the night. What made it worse was that her brother also joined in on whipping her. This is also when Fran would learn of her ability to control her Aura.
After that, Fran realized that the only thing that awaits her by staying in this house is despair and depression. Not allowing herself to give in, Fran then started stealing money from her Father and also secretly earning money as an amateur painter. At age 15, she would then run away from her house, seek out the hunstman who initially thought her brother and get his help to enroll to a combat school. The huntsman, taking pity on the girl, decided to take her under his tutelage and let her stay with him. She was then enrolled into a primary combat school where she learned combat basics, improved her over all stamina and fitness, as well as created her own weapon.
At she reached age 18, the huntsman said that Francheska was ready, and that she already learned all that he could teach her. And so, this starts Francheska's journey in the Beacon Academy, and her path toward becoming a Huntress.
Upon her entry, she met Azura and Ryker. Azura was a black haired woman with a very intelligent charm around her. Ryker was a Cheetah Faunus who always gave compliment to women, a nice guy, lest a bit misunderstood. Soon after she met Cecil, Azura's beloved. He was a blunt yet firm guy, whom thoughtfulness is quite charming. After that, she then received a message on her scroll, which she didn't check. It was about her late admittance extra credit class, which entailed engaging in a training session with another student as to get use using semblance, aura control and basic combat fundamentals. Her training partner was another Faunus named Yukino. As soon as they were done with training, a message would appear on Francheska's scroll indicating that their team, well half of it, was to take part in a mission regarding a cave that a previous group had discovered. Fran would immediately answer the call and arrive at the designated area. The mission at first seems mundane, but after several incidents had happened, which included some friendly fire, in-fighting and several Grimm encounters, the group would find themselves in a perilous position, but thanks to everyone's efforts, an escape was made and most survived from the cave. █ █ ╫ I N V E N T O R Y ╫
█PRIMARY WEAPON █ ▬ Crying Petal █ ▬ A light wakizashi with a small guard and pink handle. It's has a rifle-like mechanic tied to it's sheathe. Fran uses this to launch her sword from the sheathe to increase the speed and power of her draw caused by the rifle-like mechanic's momentum.
█Melee Form ▬ A short sword, often a secondary weapon. The added mechanic adds a bit of weight, but since it's an overall short and light weapon, it doesn't pose a problem for Fran. █Ranged Form ▬ None. █Other Form(s) ▬ None. █Ammo Type ▬ Physical Blanks. They're main purpose is to give even more speed to her quick-draws. Maximum bullet per magazine is 10. █Drawback(s)▬ The sword has very short range, at only 53cm. It's also very light and can't be used to guard well. The mechanism requires Fran to catch and slice with almost perfect timing, which if she becomes unfocused when using it can cause her to potentially lose her weapon.
█OTHER WEAPONS █ ▬ Fran does have a plan for a full-fledged quick-draw Katana, but hasn't made any plans on building it yet.

Tsubame Gaeshi is a perfectionist's sword-style, employing the quickness of a reflex along with conscious targeting. The original is said to be undodgeable and has attained legendary status.
Fran's abilities however only extends the range of her wakizashi, making it almost like a Katana. The slashes come at the same time after the third slash. This is also heavily affected by Fran's physical condition. █*LEVEL 0 ▬ A single slash. (Upper slash) █*LEVEL 1▬ A single slash and a quick return. (sheath). Francheska's father rules the family with an iron hand and is also known for having done shady deals with the lower classes in the city. He was willing to do anything to raise the family's worth up to the high classes. Which meant that every mistake his child did was unacceptable. Their father's abusive tendencies were even more intensified when they had to migrate to Vale, which their father always viewed still as enemies.
Most of the brunt was taken by the youngest child, and the 2nd daughter of the family, Francheska. Initially, Fran didn't show any talent in painting, and so her father stripped her of clothing, tied her to a tree in their backyard and whipped her back several times until the young Francheska collapse from exhaustion. Her mother, Older brother and Older sister didn't do anything but watch.
The abuse went on for several more years, until Francheska finally produced a painting of quality acceptable for their father's standard. It was at this time that Francheska gained a little bit more freedom, which led her to discovering her older brother practicing the sword. This was something that their father was greatly against, as he told them that any fighting or combat art was inelegant and undeserving of their family name, regardless if they have the ability to use Aura or not.
Fran's older brother then made a deal with her to teach her as long as she doesn't say anything to their father. Fran wanted nothing more that to bond with her siblings that was kept from her so she immediately agreed. It was a decision that she regrets to this day, as when their father discovered them, all the blame was put unto Fran by her older brother. Saying that she tempted him. Once more, in their backyard, in the same tree she was tied. But this time, their father ordered the brother to whip her instead. Fearing their father, her older brother whipped her until once again, she fell into collapse.
It was at this point when Fran began developing her habits, picking up even the slightest changes in moods and trying to defuse the situation before anything escalate so she can escape punishment. Her trust for people was broken and she began to hate the world. She would often take out her rage unto small animals, abusing them and sometimes killing them. This also was the very early instance where she was able to use her aura.
When she was 15, Fran used the money she had saved up from working as an amateur painter as well as the money she stole from her parents to run away and become a huntress, so she can escape the clutches of her family. Having previous experience in sword when her brother taught her, she enrolled into a Primary combat school and this is where she created her current sword, a single edge blade only 52 cm in length. It's supposed to be a sidearm to another weapon, but as she was small and frail, Fran decided that it would be best if this was her main weapon.
Utilizing her reflexes as well as the concentration that she got from years of painting, Fran mastered a quick-draw sword-style. This style employs quick slashes from unsheathing a sword. One of her weapons unique features is a gun-like mechanism, allowing for a quicker draw of her blade.

❖ So you are allowed to take another other talent if you wish. ❖ So I noticed that you are missing the fear from the dislike section. Even if it's something weird, we do need a fear. ❖ Ok, so thinking about it in my head, the gun powered quick draw would have some other drawbacks. One, where the location of the hole is for the blank is would cause both a build up of blanks either in the sheathe, or they would fall out as you slashed. The other issue is that if you fire enough, the sheathe would have to be stronger, as the force would eventually wear it down to where the mechanism would fail, because it could no longer hold the air. ❖ So in items, I would suggest putting a scroll ❖ Ok, on the semblance, the different slashes, do those happen at the same time? Also, if you could remove the seconds from there, we would appreciate it. We understand that it's fast, the issue is that we don't do time inside of posts.

❖ So you are allowed to take another other talent if you wish. ❖ So I noticed that you are missing the fear from the dislike section. Even if it's something weird, we do need a fear. ❖ Ok, so thinking about it in my head, the gun powered quick draw would have some other drawbacks. One, where the location of the hole is for the blank is would cause both a build up of blanks either in the sheathe, or they would fall out as you slashed. The other issue is that if you fire enough, the sheathe would have to be stronger, as the force would eventually wear it down to where the mechanism would fail, because it could no longer hold the air. ❖ So in items, I would suggest putting a scroll ❖ Ok, on the semblance, the different slashes, do those happen at the same time? Also, if you could remove the seconds from there, we would appreciate it. We understand that it's fast, the issue is that we don't do time inside of posts.

█BACKGROUND ▬ Francheska is a member of the Waesche family. The Waesche's are of somewhat middle-upper class in Mistral. They've been a family of painters for generations, and they are very strict. Francheska's father rules the family with an iron hand and is also known for having done shady deals with the lower classes in the city. He was willing to do anything to raise the family's worth up to the high classes. Which meant that every mistake his child did was unacceptable. Their father's abusive tendencies were even more intensified when they had to migrate to Vale, which their father always viewed still as enemies.
Most of the brunt was taken by the youngest child, and the 2nd daughter of the family, Francheska. Initially, Fran didn't show any talent in painting, and so her father stripped her of clothing, tied her to a tree in their backyard and whipped her back several times until the young Francheska collapse from exhaustion. Her mother, Older brother and Older sister didn't do anything but watch.
The abuse went on for several more years, until Francheska finally produced a painting of quality acceptable for their father's standard. It was at this time that Francheska gained a little bit more freedom, which led her to discovering her older brother practicing the sword. This was something that their father was greatly against, as he told them that any fighting or combat art was inelegant and undeserving of their family name, regardless if they have the ability to use Aura or not.
Fran's older brother then made a deal with her to teach her as long as she doesn't say anything to their father. Fran wanted nothing more that to bond with her siblings that was kept from her so she immediately agreed. It was a decision that she regrets to this day, as when their father discovered them, all the blame was put unto Fran by her older brother. Saying that she tempted him. Once more, in their backyard, in the same tree she was tied. But this time, their father ordered the brother to whip her instead. Fearing their father, her older brother whipped her until once again, she fell into collapse.
It was at this point when Fran began developing her habits, picking up even the slightest changes in moods and trying to defuse the situation before anything escalate so she can escape punishment. Her trust for people was broken and she began to hate the world. She would often take out her rage unto small animals, abusing them and sometimes killing them. This also was the very early instance where she was able to use her aura.
When she was 15, Fran used the money she had saved up from working as an amateur painter as well as the money she stole from her parents to run away and become a huntress, so she can escape the clutches of her family. Having previous experience in sword when her brother taught her, she enrolled into a Primary combat school and this is where she created her current sword, a single-edged blade only 52 cm in length. It's supposed to be a sidearm to another weapon, but as she was small and frail, Fran decided that it would be best if this was her main weapon.

The added mechanic adds a bit of weight, but since it's an overall short and light weapon, it doesn't pose a problem for Fran. █Ranged Form ▬ None. █Other Form(s) ▬ None. █Ammo Type ▬ Physical Blanks.
