Spectrum was going to be an amazing athlete. Why you may ask? Because the boy said so. He could put his mind to, and do whatever he wanted, so why not be the best! Particularly he loved soccer, along with running track. Both gave the young hybrid a thrill. That along with learning how to be a salesman kept the boy preoccupied on a regular basis. While not particularly amazing in his studies, as he was mostly interested in going out and playing...Spectrum did excel in most forms of math and science. Writing did come at a struggle, but it was all a work in progress as his adopted father Jaime saw it. Along with his adopted sibling, Spectrum had a happy life overall.
Traditionally homework was to be completed first before play time. So, it was only after he had finished up his homework that Spectrum couldn't help flashing his father a wide happy smile. "Hey since I finished up my homework..is it cool if I go to the park and play ball for a bit? Pleasssse??" He pleaded. Thankfully, he was granted permission, so long as he was back before it got dark.
Rushing off, carrying his soccer ball, the youngest sped off to get in as much play time as he possibly could. Truthfully, he wasn't too worried about what he was going to be when he grew up. He was just a kid after all. But if he had it his way, he'd play sports professionally, or use as his friends called his "gift of gab" to make his way in the world. For now, it was all about having a good time and living his life!
