A humble house given to Sinn by an old friend. It's wedged between two high-rise buildings, both blocks of flats. Inside is a small bedroom with just enough room for a chest of draws and a single bed; a bathroom that uses space creativley to fit a sink, toilet and bathtub in it; a kitchen with hardly enough space to store both food and utensils and living room area just big enough for a sofa, two arm chairs, a coffe table and a bookcase. A house not fit for those who desire grandness but perfect for Sinn.

XXXWhat a humble little structure this was. Zaffre was more than capable of acquiring his dear friend something with more space, more modern. It was refused, however, as he expected. Sinn had always been one of simpler taste. Small and homey, with a minimalist standard. Something that Zaffre could respect personally, though wasn't his own acquired taste. He himself preferred larger structures with space, as well as plentiful objects to fill them. It was a display of ownership in this world, one of the few things he truly found pleasure in. Still, it brought him some semblance of joy to stroll up the walkway. In his left hand was a small briefcase that was no doubt filled with folders and paperwork from Beacon, as well as some additional sources. In his right, a small bag that held a little house warming gift for his dear pal. After stepping on each step, the man would knock firmly on the door in order to announce his arrival. Then he would simply wait.

The past few days proved to be more increasingly more interesting. The first of course being the semblance swap fiasco that took Vale by storm. It seemed that not one person across the region was left unaffected by the phenomenon, resulting in some wonderful news segments. Even now effects of the semblance swap still left its mark on the region. There were a number of individuals that suffered adverse effects from the mixture of aura that occurred, resulting in a state of comatose that led to hospitalization. As of currently, not a single victim has recovered. As for why some were affected and not others, no one knew. Only that this new catastrophe has left many in a state of shock or worry, wondering if their friends, family, loved once or teammates will ever wake again. That wasn't the only interesting thing to result, however. There was a certain document in his briefcase that he wanted to share with Sinn. A student record that hadn't existed before today, as if fabricated overnight and slipped under the radar. How had Zaffre noticed such a sly trick? Simple, he had been watching and researching the records at the school like a hawk. The data system was part of him now, meaning any tampering would not go undetected. What he found more interesting on the subject was that he recognized the girl in the records; a woman he hadn't seen since a brief encounter at the tribe... This woman was someone that Sinn wanted to meet, he was certain. He considered this a second house warming gift.

Sinn had put on the kettle and was pursuing through his one bookshelf as he waited for it to boil. That's when he heard a knock at his door. Perfect, I just made tea.. Walking over he already knew who it'd be, if not he had a myriad of ways to deal with them, the most efficient being his natural born genetics. Opening the door Sinn would smile. To what do I owe the pleasure? You're just in time, I've made tea. He didn't even wait and hold the door open before walking back into the living room, Zaffre was more than capable of that. Shoes off. I don't want to have to clean up twice in one day. An obvious lie, Sinn only ever cleaned his house on Sundays.

In the brief moment he had seen Zaffre he noticed the two bags with him. One some sort of gift, the other a useless trinket to be placed on a shelf and forgotten. From the living room, he walked into the kitchen and began to lift the kettle getting ready to pour it. Your far better at interior decorating, feel free to put that trinket where you feel is best. Placing the kettle down his head would then poke out of the kitchen door. Unless it's whisky, in which case I have sugar and lemon. The tea might have to wait though. If it was whisky, Sinn would come out with a small pot of sugar with a teaspoon and a saucer with lemon wedges on it. If it wasn't he'd pour the tea, he knew how Zaffre liked it although his tastes may have changed.

He took a seat in one of the two armchairs, finishing off the creation of his drink if needed, then he would take a slow sip focusing on the taste. That hit's the spot. Looking over to Zaffre he'd look quizzical. So what're you planning to show me? I doubt it's a mission, the drop off works well for that type of work. You've gotten me intrigued.

XXXSinn never was one to keep the man waiting. With the haste the door was answered, Zaffre could only assume that he was expected. Elsewise his oculars might've been splashed with crimson tears, something that would do no more than stain his clothes as he currently stood. A smile would curl against his lips, though he held a pondering expression in his gaze as if to ask 'Really?' The two had been over this once before, the modern android no longer had the gift of taste. All was well, though, Sinn would surely describe the taste for him. "Multiple reasons, my dear friend. First and foremost I wanted to see how you were fairing in your new home." Zaffre said with confidence, his camera shutter hues adjusting as Sinn came into focus. Though the man would never know, Zaffre was constantly taking pictures and recording his encounters. When gifted with the ability, it would be a crime not to. Zaffre's foot would catch the door as Sinn pulled away, chuckling softly. "The nerve, I would've expected more hospitality for such a special guest." He added, slipping off his boots to set beside the door. At this moment, Zaffre hadn't bothered to cover his toes with the synthetic skin a majority of his body had. No no, instead Sinn would see a set of finely tune circuits with the perfect robotic engineering of what the inside of a foot would look like. It was oddly mesmerizing to watch, the exposed mechanical joints moving with the same natural movement of the real thing.

Despite his heavier mechanical build, his steps were light and precisely placed. It would've been a shame to damage the floor of a new found home, after all. Making his way to the living room, Zaffre would claim one of the armchairs as his own. On the table in front of him he'd place the first bag, one that contained two items. "You seem to doubt how well I know you, dear Sinn. What point is there to giving you something you couldn't use? No no, I know better." Zaffre said with confidence, first pulling out a tin canister to set aside. A smirk tugged his lips wider, scoffing under his breath. "And you know me far too well. Only the finest for you." He added as he pulled a bottle of whiskey from the bag. It would be carefully placed on the table, awaiting Sinn's return with his own beverage preparations. "I wanted to be the first to offer you a taste of true Vale whiskey. Then... Oh this wonderful canister, straight from the headmaster himself." He continued, taking the tin in hand as he twisted the lid to expose dried tea leaves. "Dear Aurtrox appears to be a tea connoisseur just as we are. He appears to favor this oolong blend for the caffeine and bitter bite. While I couldn't taste it myself, I was certain you would come to appreciate it." He would then seal the canister once again, gently setting it down on the table surface.

Zaffre wouldn't treat himself to a drink just yet, as it was unneeded. As the man often did, it was straight to business for them. Placing the briefcase on the table, his fingers would contort into odd positions before it unlocked and flicked open. In it was a collection of files. "I wanted to share my thanks once more for the cleanup you managed for that sloppy work an associate provided." Leaning towards his collection, gloved fingers would begin to shift through the folders before he tugged one in particular. Well, one being several paperclipped together. "A favor was due, one I intend to deliver. Do take a look." He said with a smile, tugging one folder from the collection and passing it over. On the outside of this folder was a name; Eve Atum, Student Records. It contained newly crafted records from Beacon. "A new faunus was enrolled into Beacon just yesterday. Normally student records can be traced from where they transferred from, or by who uploaded them. A digital footprint, if you will. Yet... I couldn't come across such a source. A rare occurrence, as you know." If Sinn opened it, the first file was contained an image of a woman with long pink hair and turquoise eyes. On top of her head were a set of crimson horns, her smile was sharp and jagged with a set of pointed teeth. Looking carefree and happy, yet her gaze held an intimidating look to them. "So... I called upon a favor or two. Identify the name, match the face. As you can guess, I found the results quite peculiar... So, I suppose the real question is. Why did bother bringing these results to you? Am I correct?"

It was going to take Sinn some time to get used to his friends’ new 'condition'. Right. Guess I'll have to describe it again. House is great, I can only sit in one chair at a time anyway. He let out a laugh at Zaffre's remark. Old perhaps, nothing special though. Don't think I'll forget you're older than me, despite your new-found youthful looks.

With his head hanging out the kitchen door a smile spread across his face. Ooo, whiskey. I am in for a treat. Guess the tea can wait. Walking back into the Livingroom he carefully placed the sugar and lemon wedges onto the table. You need to get them to fix this issue, I can't keep drinking by myself. It'll strain my delicate little voice. The canister was another enjoyable gift, although it got Sinn to question just what was going to be asked of him today. Two good gifts are never a good sign. Seeing as Zaffre couldn't join him in a drink Sinn prepared himself an enjoyable little mix. Leaning back into his chair he took a slow deliberate sip before looking over to Zaffre. And why is Aurtrox sending me gifts? Unless you're admitting to regifting. He'd missed teasing Zaffre, it was nice to see him again, although he'd never admit it.

Sinn would simply nod in response to his hard work. The folder simply said Eve Atum, a student at Beacon. It was surprising to hear Zaffre of all people couldn't trace something... Guess this deserves a look. Opening the folder Sinn was met with the face of a young woman with long pink hair and turquoise eyes. On top of her head were a set of crimson horns, her smile was sharp and jagged with a set of pointed teeth. Looking carefree and happy, yet her gaze held an intimidating look to them. Zaffre was correct in his assumption of Sinn's next question. I'll spare you the time. Dragon Faunus, plain and simple. This one I remember, in fact. A fiery passion in her eyes as she stared me down, waiting for it... So, for my new question, what is it you are looking to find out?
